"Is this real or just an edit?" Ma'am Ruth asked. I was already pinching my fingers because I didn't know what to answer. I heard my cellphone ring again. Ma'am Ruth looked at it and showed me who was calling. I swallowed, he must be burning with anger again because I wasn't answering his calls.
"Answer it," Ma'am Ruth ordered me. I took my cellphone and was about to answer it when the call ended. "Didn't I tell you, if you want to stay here, don't do anything that Sir Desmond won't like," Ma'am Ruth reminded me of what she told me before. I nodded.
"What is happening here?" We all looked at Desmond when he arrived. His eyes first met mine, so I quickly lowered my head. If our relationship has been good these past few days, I'm not sure now. "Heaven, what happened?" he asked me and then approached me. He held my chin and raised my head so that our eyes would meet.
