“You need to be strong Elena, we will find Ava, we have to go to her school.”
Harrison said.
“What if they are hurting my baby.”
Elena cried
Harrison hugged her.
“Trust me, we will find her, let’s go.”
Harrison said.
“Don’t you think we should tell Sara?”
Tom asked.
“Ava is her daughter, she has the right to know,” Tony replied.
“Well then, I will call her, then we will meet at the school,” Harrison said.
SARA’S ROOM
Sara just walked out of the bathroom with her towel tied to her chest, she uses another towel to dry her hair.
Her phone rings.
“Wow, Harrison.” She smiled and pick up the call.
📱 "Hey Sara.” Harrison said.
📱 "Hey Harrison.” Sara replied.
📱 "Could you please drop by Ava’s school? Bright sky school, it’s an emergency, please.” Harrison said.
📱 "Alright, I will be there shortly.”
Sara replied and hang off.
“What could have happened? Or maybe something bad happens to Ava.” She thought.
“I hope something actually happened to Ava, I will get the chance to get closer to Harrison,” Sara said in her mind
She quickly applied some lotion, dressed up and took her purse to the car,
She entered and zoom off.
BRIGHT SKY SCHOOL
Elena and Harrison arrived at the headmistress's office.
“Now that we are here, can you tell us where you took my daughter to?” Elena yelled.
“I’m really sorry Mrs McCall, but you need to calm down, we will ask the students about her so calm down.”
Miss Justin said.
“Ava will be fine okay,” Harrison assured.
“We are going to Ava’s class right now, follow me.” Mrs Justin said and Harrison nodded, he pulled Elena’s hand gently and they left the office to Ava’s class.
AVA’S CLASS
“Good morning students.” Mrs Justin greeted.
“Morning Mrs Justin, we are happy to see you.” They chorused
“Thanks, have you kids seen Ava? The new student?” Mrs Justin asked.
The students murmured some things to themselves and John decided to talk.
“No, we haven’t.” John lied.
“Are you kids sure, you don’t have to lie to us,” Mrs Justin asked.
“Yeah sure, we won’t lie, maybe she branches somewhere, she might not like the school you know.” John laughed.
“What kind of kid are you, are you stupid? How dare you say that to my daughter?”
Elena shouted.
“Mrs Justin, can I say something?” An average black American girl named Sema said.
“Sure Sema.” Mrs Justin replied.
“Ava came to school actually,” Sema replied.
“Are you sure of what you are saying? Why is she not in school now?” Mrs Justin asked.
“Don’t mind her Mrs Justin, Ava didn’t come to school, period.” John cut in.
Elena walked to Ava and bend to her size.
“My dear, Ava is my child, please tell me, Ava could be in some kind of danger.”
Elena pleaded.
“Okay, I will tell you everything, so Ava came to class in the morning and John and his friends were laughing at her, trying to bully her, and she told them, her Oma told her not to allow anyone to bully her, then John told her that she will soon Leave your life, after all her mum is just trying to frame Mr Harrison for his money that’s why she brought Ava claiming to be Mr Harrison daughter, and he also told her that, she doesn’t deserve to be here, instead she deserves to be at the orphanage,” Sema said.
“What? I can’t believe john can do this, I’m sending your parents a message, bullying is wrong in this school.” Mrs Justin Said.
Elena weep.
“How can you be so evil as young as you are? What will you gain by saying all that to a little girl, who is innocent and knows nothing? What if her mum is trying to frame us, is known of your problem, why will you do something like that, why?”
Elena yelled.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know, but a guy actually met us yesterday and today and he informed us about everything, he said we should mock Ava,” John said.
“Did you know his name?” Harrison asked.
“No, all I know is, he is tall, and handsome, I’m really sorry,” John said.
“What happened to my Ava, where is my daughter?” Sara cut in
“Don’t overreact Sara, we are going to find Ava,” Harrison said.
“I should have known that you won’t be able to take care of my daughter, my innocent baby is in harm because of you, do you know how that hurts?” Sara asked as she begin to cry.
“Am sorry Sara, you don’t need to cry, we will find her,” Harrison said.
“I’m a mother Harrison, I know I have not been a good mother to Ava, but believe me, I so much love her, I love her more than my life.” Sara cried and hug Harrison.
Elena didn’t really mind, she will have done more than that if it was her daughter, she can’t forgive herself if something happens to Ava.
“You, you claimed this school to be the best yet you allow some random kids to bully my child, I’m gonna sue this school and it won’t be the best anymore,” Sara shouted searching for her phone.
“Sara, I know this gonna hurt you, but I promise you as Ava’s dad or not, I will find her before night, I promise.”
Harrison assured.
“What if she is in danger.” Sara cried.
Harrison wiped her tears.
“Ava is a smart girl, you know her, your girl is strong, so she will be strong for us, now we only need to find the orphanage.”
Harrison said.
“I will take you there,” Sara replied.
“That’s good Sara, Elena, let’s go.”
Harrison said, Sara held Harrison's hands firmly while Elena trilled behind them.
