Chapter 116 WE MEET AGAIN

Chapter 116 WE MEET AGAIN

LUNA LEENA POV

The rogues attacked us from all sides. There were so many of them, their swords shining in the dim forest light. We had only brought a few loyal guards, but we didn’t give up. We couldn’t. My children were somewhere close, and I would fight until my last breath to reach them.

I drew my sword and fought with all my might. The blade felt heavy in my tired arms, but anger and love gave me strength. I slashed at the nearest rogue, cutting deep into his side. He fell with a loud groan. Another one came at me from the left. I dodged and stabbed him in the chest. Sweat mixed with blood on my skin. My muscles burned, but I kept moving.

Damian was like a furious Alpha beside me. He shifted into his big black wolf in one smooth motion. His growl shook the trees. He tore through the rogues, cutting them into pieces with his claws and teeth. Blood flew everywhere. He moved so fast, protecting my back while I fought in front. Through our bond, I felt his rage and his love. It gave me more power.

The guards fought bravely too. Though they were few, they stood strong. Some of them went down, wounded or killed, but the others kept fighting. They killed rogue after rogue, their swords flashing. I was proud of them. They were fighting for their Luna and Alpha.

I saw an opening and quickly brought out my bow and arrows. I pulled five arrows at the same time, aimed carefully, and released. The arrows flew straight and fast, hitting five rogues in their chests. They fell to the ground, dead. I felt a small rush of satisfaction. I loaded more arrows and kept shooting, taking down anyone who came too close.

The fight was brutal and long. My body was weak from days of not eating properly, but I refused to stop. Every rogue that fell brought me closer to my children. Damian’s wolf roared as he finished another enemy. He looked powerful and terrifying. No one could stand against him for long.

Finally, the last few rogues realized they were losing. One of them dropped his sword and fell to his knees.

“Please spare me!” he begged, his voice shaking. “I will tell you everything. I will take you to the cottage. Just don’t kill me.”

Damian shifted back to human form. His chest was rising and falling fast, blood covering his body. He looked at the rogue with cold eyes.

“You will take us there now,” he said. “If you try anything, you die.”

The rogue nodded quickly. Our remaining guards dragged him up and tied his hands. We started moving immediately, following him deeper into the forest. My heart was beating fast with hope and fear. We were finally going to the cottage. We were going to get our children back.

I looked at Damian. He took my hand as we walked. His grip was strong and warm. Even though we were both tired and covered in blood, we were together. That gave me strength.

The rogue led us through the trees. The path was narrow and dark, but we kept going. Every step brought us closer to Ryker, Thorne, and Elara. I could almost feel them. I sent a silent prayer through the bond, hoping they could hear me.

“Mummy and Daddy are coming. Hold on, my love.”

We continued walking, the guards watching the rogue carefully. The fight had been hard, but we had won this part. Now we just needed to reach the cottage and bring our family home.

I would not stop until I held my children in my arms again.

……

LADY SAMARA POV

I sat at the small table in the cottage, my hand gripping the pen tightly. I was writing another letter to Leena. This time, I was done playing nice. The boy, Ryker with his sharp mouth and stubborn attitude had pushed me too far. His words kept ringing in my head. I hated how much he looked like Damian. I hated how brave he tried to be. I would cut his tongue out and put it in the letter. That would teach them all a lesson.

I smiled coldly as I wrote the words. Leena would cry when she opened it. She would finally understand that I was serious. I would break her completely.

Kieran walked into the room and saw what I was doing. He stopped and frowned.

“What are you planning now?” he asked.

“I am going to cut Ryker’s tongue,” I said calmly. “He has been talking too much. His attitude is making me angry. I will put it in the letter with some blood. Leena will learn not to play games with me.”

Kieran shook his head. “That is unnecessary. We don’t have to hurt the kids like that. We should just focus on getting their parents. Hurt Leena instead. That is the real revenge.”

I glared at him. “You don’t understand. Those children are just like their parents. They need to suffer too.”

We started fighting. Our voices grew louder in the small room. Kieran stepped closer, his face serious.

“Either we kill all the kids and then forget about revenge,” he said, “or we let Leena come and get our revenge on her instead. Which one will you prefer?”

I still wanted to disagree. I wanted to see the boy bleed. But before I could answer, the door opened and Kael walked in. He looked tired and dirty, but there was a satisfied look in his eyes.

I turned to him quickly. “Why are you alone? Weren’t you supposed to make Leena follow you here?”

Kael smiled a little. “It was not only Leena that was following me. Damian came too, with a few guards. So I had to stop them. I used the guards standing watch and led them into a trap. I believe Damian must be dead by now.”

My heart started beating fast. Panic rose inside me. “You don’t even know Damian. He can never be defeated that easily. He is too strong.”

I started shouting, my voice rising with fear. “We have to vacate the cottage immediately! Kieran, take your guards and grab the kids. We must leave now. Hurry!”

I was panicking. I moved around the room quickly, grabbing a few things. My hands were shaking. If Damian was still alive, he would come for us. He would destroy everything. We had to run.

Kieran didn’t take it seriously. He stood there calmly, watching me. “No matter how strong Damian is, he can never be stronger than my rogue guards. They are many and they are ruthless. We don’t need to run like cowards.”

I stopped and stared at him. My chest was tight with anger and fear. “You don’t understand. If Damian is coming, we are not safe here. We have to go now!”

Kael stood quietly, watching us argue. I could see he was tired from the fight, but he didn’t say anything. I turned back to the table and quickly finished the letter. I would still send it. Even if we had to move, Leena needed to know I was serious.

The children were my only leverage now. I would not lose them. I would not lose this chance for revenge.

I looked at Kieran again. “Prepare the men. We may have to leave soon.”

He nodded slowly, but I could see he still didn’t fully believe the danger. I hoped he was right. But deep down, I knew Damian was coming. And when he did, everything would change.

I folded the letter and gave it to one of the guards. “Send this now. Make sure it reaches her.”

Then I walked to the window and stared into the dark forest. My heart was still racing. The plan was falling apart, but I would not let Leena win. Not after everything she had taken from me.

The children’s voices could be heard faintly from the other room. I smiled coldly. They were still mine. And as long as I had them, I had power.

………..

LUNA LEENA POV

The rogue led us deeper into the forest. He walked quickly, his hands tied behind his back. We followed him carefully, our guards staying alert. Finally, the rogue stopped and pointed ahead.

“That is the cottage,” he said, his voice shaking. “That is where the kids are held hostage. Please release me now. My master will kill me if they know I betrayed them.”

Damian looked at the small hidden cottage in the distance. His face was hard. “We will spare you after we know you are not lying to us.”

He told two guards to stay with the rogue. “Watch him closely. Do not let him escape.”

The two guards nodded and held the rogue tightly. Damian turned to the rest of us. “Let’s go.”

We moved closer to the cottage, staying low and quiet. As we got near, everyone froze. We were shocked. The place was guarded, but what surprised us more was who we saw.

Kael was standing there, talking to someone. He didn’t expect us to be here already. His eyes widened when he saw us. Beside him was Kieran, the one-eyed man. . When we saw Kieran, our eyes widened. We recognized him immediately. He was the cruel rogue who had kidnapped me when I was still a slave. I remembered clearly, I was the one who stabbed that blind eye with the dagger that time.

Kieran smiled cruelly when he saw me. His one good eye glared at me with so much hatred.

“We meet again,” he said, his voice low and dangerous.

My body tensed. Memories flooded back, the fear, the pain, the way he had dragged me away. I gripped my sword tighter. Damian stepped slightly in front of me, protective. His wolf was close to the surface. I could feel it through our bond.

The air felt heavy. The guards around us prepared for a fight. Kael looked nervous now, his earlier confidence gone. Kieran just kept smiling, like he was enjoying this moment.

I took a deep breath. My children were inside that cottage. Nothing else mattered. I would fight through all of them if I had to.

Damian’s voice was cold when he spoke. “Where are our kids?”

Kieran laughed softly. “You will have to go through us first.” He muttered coldly.
