CHAPTER THIRTY NINE

CHELSEA POV

"We are ready for you," The nurse gently announced, leading me to a room. "Miss Milan," The doctor called, beckoning me to lie down.

"I will start by checking your vitals and then we can proceed," She explained, which I nodded to. "Say, I heard rumors, and I would like to confirm," She muttered as began the checkup.

"What rumors?" I asked. "Are you by any chance Mr. Manchester wife, the staff swear you look like her?" She asked, after a while of deep thoughts.

"No," I replied, watching her sigh in relief. "At a moment, I thought,,". "I'm his Ex wife," I interrupted, as she paused.

"Then this is the child that you are about to remove, is it?" She stammers, unable to finish her words.

"Yes, it's his, do you have a problem?" I questioned, watching her shake her head. "Alright, we are about to start now," She announced, her voice trembling at this point.

At this moment, the light went off and as quickly went back on. "Dr. Rosalin, step out for a minute," Someone announced.

"I will go and check it out," She mumbled as she stepped out. When a few minutes passed and I didn't see her return, I went out, slowly hearing commotion.

I followed to find Liam and the doctor talking it out, of course he was harsh, shouting at her but he paused when he saw me.

His eyes filled with both anger and worry. Without a doubt, I knew he was aware of the situation, of my condition, yet he wasn't facing me but her.

I gently walked to the lady, helping her stand up. "I'm sorry, I brought you to this mess," I apologies, as she could only nod.

Before I could say anything to her, he dragged me, his hands firmly holding to mine. "Give me a private room," He requested from a staff member, who hurried to lead the way as Liam followed, dragging me with him.

"Let go, you are hurting me," I yelled, trying to break free. This slowed us down and he paused, flinging me on his shoulder and carrying me.

He ignores my slap and desperate push for help, only stopping when both of us were alone in the room.

"Don't worry, I will abort it before it causes an issue for you,," I said before he could say a thing.

"Be careful," He warned. "It's my child you are talking about, what's your words?" He continued, his words made me scoff.

"Your child, Liam, since when did you have interest in having kids?" I asked, puzzled. "It's you Chelsea, the child is growing in your womb, why wouldn't I want it," he replied.

"Well too bad, it's my body and I decide what I want to do with it, you might stop this one but I will still make another attempt, you don't own me Liam,"

"And if you think this child will bring us together then wish again because I already told you, I will shatter every chance of us ever coming back together," I said, taking my leave.

"If you dare to hurt that child Chelsea, then I promise you, I will make sure Stella and Catherine get the company," He threatened.

"I have not been saying anything, I have been trying to help you, I'm currently going against my principle just to make sure you get your inheritance but if you dare to hurt that life then I will make life a living hell for you, do you hear me?" He yelled, his hand tightly holding to my neck and his eyes vicious just like the first night he revealed his true self.

When he saw I was struggling for air, he finally let go. "You finally revealed your true self," I mumbled when he was close to me as tears ran down my face, no matter how hard it was to stop it.

LIAM POV.

"Outskirts of town, you should know the place," Emily revealed which all made sense. As I rushed to enter my car, I called Kelvin, explaining the situation and having him call the executive before I could get there..

Increasing the speed, I point the gun at anyone who dares to complain to me on the road. Kelvin called comes in when I was close, "they are already informed, she will check for the doctor and call her out, I'm also there, I was around the area," He informed me which relieved me.

As I entered the building, I saw Kelvin, as well as some people gathering him. I slowly approach, seeing him face to face with a doctor.

"Is she?". "She is Chelsea doctor," He informed me before I could finish the sentence.

"Well, did anything happen, has she done it yet?" I asked. "I tried asking but she kept saying the case was confidential," Kelvin mumbled, getting me more angry.

"Do you know I am?" I asked, raising her up with just her coat. "Mr. Manchester,' She replies.

"And do you think I care about confidentiality?" I questioned. "But Sir, there is a reason why it has to be kept that way,"

"The baby inside Chelsea is like a ," She ranted, my mind shifting from her to Chelsea who had just stepped out.

"Love," I called softly, even though it was barely audible. I waited, hoping she was walking close to me, however she only helped the doctor up, feeling unaffected by my presence.

Taking her hand,I dragged her somewhere private but she was struggling,so bad that I had to slow down so she wouldn't get hurt and eventually I had to carry her.

It wasn't long we were alone when her mouth spilled out those heartless words. Does she hate me so much that she was going to risk her life.

No, I wasn't going to let that happen, at this point, threatening her was the best option and I know I shouldn't have but it seems to be the only way to get her on board.

After which I pulled her to hug, surprisingly she didn't fight. She mumbled something barely audible before becoming quiet.

When I pulled her, I found her sleeping, gently picking her up, and I went downstairs. "Handle the rest," I said to Kelvin, before leaving, gently placing her in the back seat and driving back home.

I gently place her on the bed while grabbing a chair and holding her hands. I felt so happy knowing at least one plan worked.

I was tempted to touch her stomach as everything seems so unreal. When I actually made up my mind to touch, her hand stopped me, making me aware that she was awake.

She looks around and frowns. "Why am I here?" She questioned, standing up. "You should be careful," I muttered, helping her stand up.

"Right, I'm carrying your dearest child," She mocked, pushing my hand away. "Well I'm pregnant, not sick," She muttered, standing up.

"I'm going," She announced, taking her things. "Where to?" I inquired. "Do you think you can have me back because I am pregnant?" She snorted.

"You will be part of this child's life, no doubt but I'm not staying in this house," She says.

"Well, here me out, you will stop your treatment, by tomorrow I will look for a better hospital and the next day, we will have you registered there, so you will come to my office then," I explained.

"Whatever," She murmured before leaving. "Wait, I have to drop you, your car isn't here?" I offered. "I'm not broke Liam, I will take a cab," She snapped, slamming the door.

I smiled, knowing that this wasn't the last time I would meet her. With this, I have more opportunities to be with her, it will be long, I will make her mine again..
