Bella's POV.
Saint and Mistake panicked, Mistake quickly called the doctor and asked them to immediately arrive at the villa. While Saint squatted down and politely asked,"Excuse me, Miss Bella."
I was in so much pain that I didn't even notice what he was saying. Then I saw myself in his arms and he carried me to the guest bedroom. I lowered my face in embarrassment because my water broke. I was literally wet down there.
'Sorry my baby, your momma is very awkward woman,' I said to myself, clenching my jaws in pain.
Saint kicked the door of the room and made me lie on the bed. The doctors and nurses arrived with full set-up kits. They quickly got back to their work and soon my bedroom became a ward of the hospital.
The doctor then asked for my hands to be tied against the bed which scared the shit out of me. I looked for someone, someone who could stay with me in such a serious situation.
I looked at Saint and asked,"Did you inform Helene?"
"Yes. However she is in Hawaii for a tour, she promised to be here by evening."
Oh no. My one and only friend who would have been my strength. That very moment I remembered Caspar. He would have left every important meeting for me. Actually he would have stuck close to me had he known about my pregnancy cycle.
'Should I just die?' Horrifying thoughts snapped in my head and I realised what the hell I was even thinking.
Folding my lips in my mouth, I sobbed painfully while the nurses fastened my wrists and ankles to the bed. Mistake was already waiting outside, however Saint stood there.
The doctor turned to face him and requested,"Sir, please leave the room. We will have to start as soon as possible."
"Then start," Saint indifferently replied. "I'm just doing my job as her bodyguard. She has suffered many assassin attacks so I do not know who among you guys are assassins."
The doctors and nurses looked mortified, one of the senior doctors stepped forward and coldly said,"You can trust us, we are doctors who treat patients."
Saint glanced at the doctor before snorting coldly,"Then do your fucking job! If anything happens to her or her child, you will not be alright either. Mark my words."
And before the doctor could say anything, Saint pointed his rifle towards him and chuckled," Don't waste time and get back to your work, bastard."
The junior doctors and nurses looked shocked,they were not expecting such a reaction from Saint. But they listened to him when their eyes fell on the golden lion's emblem on his black shirt, it was a legendary Shadow military's emblem. Only given to top-ranking soldiers.
Ugh, L-Let him stay... Please hurry, I'm in pain," I cried and the doctors rushed.
"Please keep pushing," the nurses asked me but I didn't know what was wrong with me.
I was so stressed and couldn't do any better. I tried, but it didn't help. I needed someone to hold me and make me believe I could do it. The pain and suffering I was feeling at that very moment is indescribable.
That very moment Saint stepped forward, and holding my hand he said,"You can do it, Bella."
'Oh no...why does he sound so familiar to me?' I thought as I glanced at him however his mask was covering his mouth and half nose. And I tried hard to recall those blue eyes of his, they strangely reminded me of someone very close.
Shush, I couldn't even remember. My memory is lacking and Ahh...
"Congratulations Miss Bella, you have given birth to a beautiful daughter."
"What?" I asked, not even realizing that I already pushed out my babies. "Yes, Miss, it's a girl. She has got black hazel eyes and golden hair like yours."
"Looks like her father's genes fought tough. She is very beautiful and cute."
I forced a smile on my face and looked at the baby, she indeed inherited Caspar genes. She only managed to get my blonde hair, not that I'm complaining.
Saint, who was standing next to me, leaned close and touched her face and said," Congratulations Sis– I mean Miss Bella."
I nodded and thanked him, soon I was carried to my bedroom and maids gathered with congratulatory gifts. Helene and John arrived too without their son, Rowan.
They stayed for a week and Rowan was happy to get a younger brother and sister. Those weeks were my happiest because as soon as Helene left... I encountered one of my classmates, Robert. Or should I say one of the men working for my dad's Mafia group.
Hiding my face with my scarf I increased my footsteps and tried to get a cab. I was foolish to go shopping alone when Saint and Mistake were not with me. They were called by John Rupert to attend the meeting and will return tomorrow morning.
And I was an idiot for declining John's offer of sending a few temporary guards to fill the absence of Saint and Mistake.
I ran into the deserted alleyway only to be bumped into a tall brunette man. Rubbing my forehead I apologised and turned back to walk, when suddenly a strong hand gripped my right shoulder.
"Bella, I have finally found you."
Gosh! I was running away from this crazy guy and he got me instantly. I raised my face and my eyes met his cold yet dreamy grey eyes. His long black hair braided in a ponytail added a gangster look to his appearance.
Dressed in black pants and shirt, topped with black leather jacket and high boots, Robert stood tall in front of me.
"And why are you looking this unhealthy? Were you doing a part time job for a living?" He panicked and started touching my face and arms.
This guy hasn't changed and I can feel he has become even more psychopath than before. After Theodore Roosevelt, Robert was the most obsessed with me and wanted to make me his girlfriend.
Feeling conflicted by his closeness I smacked his hands off me and coldly warned,"Robert, maintain your distance from me."
"Why? Your husband is already dead..."
