Callista was made to gulp with difficulty. The gaze directed at her was filled with a twinkle of hope, it was weighing on her.
"What are you guys talking about?" asked Brian who immediately seated himself next to Aric.
"We were just talking about after-school activities. Aric and Illis are going to help me and Rheana with the script," Chennie explained at length.
"Right, Lis?"
Callista nodded her head in response. She had made up her mind. After all, she wasn't an animal that had to stay in a cage. She would ask for permission later.
"I'm in."
Rheana glanced at Brian who suddenly spoke up. "Who invited you?" asked Rheana with a mocking smile.
Brian chuckled with one eyebrow raised. "Of course it was myself."
That answer made Aric and his friends burst out laughing. Brian's innocent face when he said it was very funny in their eyes.

A very striking dark blue Lamborghini car passed by the Xavier High School students who were giving way to it. Of course, no one didn't know who the owner of the car was. And it was better for them to avoid conflicts that would make it difficult to get involved with the school's donor children.
Callista still felt uneasy about making such an impromptu plan. How will the psychopathic man respond to her permission? She was afraid that something painful would happen again when she returned to the mansion. And if she did not return, then her loved ones would be the ones affected.

Callista was stunned as Rheana suddenly took her cell phone, turned it off, and placed it on her thigh. Rheana who saw that response was confused, but ignorant of that, she just shrugged her shoulders.
"Put that phone down, Illis. We're going to have some fun today under the guise of drafting a script," Rheana half shouted as the music was turned up to a high volume. Who else if not Chennie and Brian could it be?
Callista widened her smile in response to Rheana's words. Rheana, Chennie, and Brian chimed in, singing a song that was popular at the moment. Of course, she also knew the song and even knew the lyrics by heart.
"Well, let's forget about the problem with the psychopath for a moment," Callista thought and sang along with her friends.

The footsteps he made were wide and a little hasty. Something was trying to shake his chest. Excessive curiosity or something else? He didn't know for sure.
