The black Lamborghini stopped right in front of an airport. The driver hurriedly got out after turning off the engine. He opened the door beside his employer and saluted for a moment, then turned to the back of the car, which was none other than the trunk.
"Thank you, sir," Callista said after her suitcase was in her hands.
The driver was still in place. "Miss, are you sure I don't need to take you to the front of the queue?" the driver asked for the third time. It would be very difficult to pull the suitcase while walking with a walking stick.
Callista put on her best smile so that the driver would not feel worried.
"No need, sir. I can do it myself." The same answer as the driver's first and second statements. The driver couldn't help but nod. He bowed for a moment to pay his respects and then got back into the car.
After leaving the car, Callista then stepped into the airport. It was easy for her to do this. She was a girl who had been using crutches and a wheelchair interchangeably for a very long time. For her, it was just a small thing.
Having just reached the front door of the airport, Callista was immediately presented with the sight of Kenward's familiar bodyguards walking through the airport.
Her eyes fully rounded, and she hastily veered away.
"How did he know I was going to this airport? Did he already know that I was traveling to London?" Callista wondered as she continued to walk.
She shook her head to get rid of the bad thoughts that came to her mind. She must not get caught!
It would be foolish to travel without the bodyguards her daddy had hired to protect her. But if her daddy's bodyguards ran into the psychopath's bodyguards, there would certainly be bloodshed. And it would drag in the people closest to her. She just wanted to escape quietly without involving anyone else.
"I'll go through the back door," she thought.
It was a good thing that the owner of this airport was a friend of her daddy's. She wouldn't be arrested by the airport guards for going through the back door.
Callista stared at the long road in front of her. A narrow road that was very dark. Her hair stood on end. What was in that dark street? Moreover, to reach the back door she had to travel a very long distance.
Callista looked to the side. Her heartbeat was now in the middle of a marathon.
"There's not much time left, I have to go this way whether I want to or not," Callista muttered. Callista hesitantly stepped into the dark street.
The deeper Callista entered the dark street, the faster her heart beat. Her hands began to break out in cold sweat. Wanting to reach the back door as soon as possible, Callista quickened her pace.
Her steps came to a halt. Her eyebrows knitted together when she felt someone following her behind. The anxiety in her heart was now gone. With confidence that her plan would succeed, Callista resumed her steps.
As anxiety consumed more and more of her courage, the faster her footsteps became.
Callista's eyes were fully rounded. A very large hand managed to grab Callista's sweater. Callista, who was not ready for it, was immediately pulled back. The walking stick and the suitcase fell to the ground, causing a loud thud.
Callista fell to the ground with her sweater still firmly gripped. She struggled with all her might.
"Let go! Let go of me!" Callista shouted in a trembling voice. Fear was slowly eating away at her.
"Don't move so much, little girl."
A heavy voice that sounded unfamiliar made Callista raise her head. A man with tan skin and a stocky body was staring at her intently. Then behind him were two men who were also burly.
"Who are they?" Callista sighed. "At least they're not Kenward's bodyguards," she thought.
What? What did she just say? At least? Was she out of her mind to say this was better? This was not good at all! She didn't even recognize who they were, they could be kidnappers or human traffickers.
"Let go! What do you want?!" Callista rebelled. But still, her strength was not as strong as that of the man.
The corners of his lips were pulled up as he stared at Callista from bottom to top. Callista who was being watched like that got goosebumps.
"We are very lucky today. This girl is so beautiful, let alone that she's handicapped, she won't be able to escape. Hahaha!" The thunderous laughter was followed by the laughter of the other two men.
"Let go of me! I'll give you as much as you want, but let go of me first," bargained Callista who was trying to regain control of herself. Second by second, her guts were shrinking.
The man in the gray shirt again displayed his smirk. "Very well, little lady. We'll be happy to search for you. But just so you know, I need you too. I can make more money if I sell every part of your body."
Callista froze in place. That heavy voice made her unable to think anymore. What could she do for now? Would she be able to escape from them safely?
"Hurry up and carry out my orders!"
The two men who were behind Callista walked up to her. One of them searched the suitcase, while the other squatted right in front of Callista. Both of Callista's arms were suddenly grabbed together and pulled up.
Without permission, the man's hands touched every part of Callista's body. He checked all the pockets on Callista's clothes until deliberately applied a little pressure on hers at the top. Callista's eyes widened at the realization, immediately she bit the hand that had soiled her body.
"Ahh!" a small scream from the man was followed by a thud. The man spontaneously pushed Callista's head to the side hard. The beautiful forehead was now made to drip blood from slapping the rocks.
Callista's vision became blurry. Dizziness came to her. The voices of the bastard men sounded faintly in Callista's ears.
"Are you crazy? Don't destroy the value!"
"I'm sorry, boss. I spontaneously did it. She's crazy anyway, she just suddenly bit me!"
"Boss, I found a lot of dollars here! We could get rich quick!"
"Wow! We found an amazing girl-"
Before he could finish his sentence, the man who was called the boss fell on his stomach violently. Callista tried to get her vision back to normal. Thanks to that, her vision slowly became clear. But that was not a good thing. The one who had knocked the man over was Kenward!
Callista suddenly sat up. She crawled away as the men were busy fighting with Kenward.
"Whatever the outcome of their fight, I need to escape from here. Uncle who is Daddy's friend will help me."
Not having had enough of Kenward's repeated kicks and punches in turn, the three men were still unyielding in their actions as they chose to get back to their feet. A lopsided smile played on his lips. He did not expect to find new prey so easily here.
His attention turned to the girl he had been looking for. The naughty girl who dared to run away from him. With just a few steps, he had reached right behind Callista. With one hand he pulled Callista's sweater and carried the girl over his shoulder.
Callista was taken aback. Her outstretched hand that was about to reach for her walking stick was cut short by Kenward's tug. The tears she had been holding back fell. Her plan fell apart. It even crumbled at the beginning. She lost without being able to fight back.
