Chapter 124 Seducing Him

Chapter 124 Seducing Him
I bit my lower lip, staring at the pen in his hand.

"What?" he asked. "Changing your mind already?"

There was nothing overtly suspicious about the contract. Everything was written clearly. Three months of marriage. Temporary. Very clean. Unless we decided to cancel that condition.

But somehow, I felt-no, I knew-there was a layer of manipulation hidden in the fine print.

I reached out and pulled the pen from his fingers, locking my eyes with his. He smirked, his gaze roaming over my face before slowing on my parted lips as I playfully slid the end of the pen between them.

"Still hesitating?" he mocked. I could see it in his eyes; he didn't truly believe I would go through with it.

But who cared what he thought? I needed to teach him a lesson, and I was going to enjoy every second of it.

Did he really think he could just kidnap me and expect submission? Nadia had already warned me that some of the Russetti family members were questioning my ability to lead.

It was time to prove everyone wrong.

I traced the edge of his unbuttoned shirt with a light touch. "Hesitate? No."

He caught my wrist, his grip firm. "Then why don't you sign?"

I rose to my feet, my wrist still in his hold. He followed my movements with hungry eyes as I stepped closer, then slowly lowered myself onto his lap.

I felt him tense at first, but a playful smirk soon tugged at his lips.

"This is wild," he murmured.

"Don't you like it wild?" I whispered, running my fingers through his hair.

He caught my other hand, his voice dropping to a low hiss. "Don't play tricks on me, Kitten." He made a half-hearted move to push me away, but I brushed my lips against his, causing his grip on my wrists to tighten instinctively.

I felt him hardening beneath me, and the reaction fueled my confidence. I shifted my weight on his lap, moving slowly and deliberately. He let out a low growl. "What the fuck, Mila..."

"I really want to sign that contract," I whispered, drawing his face back to mine. "But..."

"But what?" His breath hitched.

"We should trust each other first."

He frowned, his fingers trailing up my arm. "Don't you trust me?"

"If you trust me, I'll trust you," I countered.

He searched my gaze, a flicker of confusion crossing his features. "What is that supposed to mean?"

I placed a lingering finger over his lips. "Shhh. Don't say anything. We need to do this first."

"Do what?"

"You know what you did to me in the past," I said, and his expression darkened instantly. "I need to feel secure. I need to feel safe with you in bed."

"Aha..." he mumbled. "If that's what it takes..."

I cut him off by crashing my lips against his. He didn't hesitate this time; he didn't pull back. He kissed me with a desperate hunger, as if he'd been waiting for this for an eternity. "Mila..."

His lips traveled down to my neck, his hands roaming greedily over my body. "You're so soft."

I pulled down the straps of my nightgown, murmuring into his ear, "Do you see what I wore for you?"

"God..." he growled. "You're driving me crazy."

"Why did you pick this lingerie for me?" I whispered. "Do you want to see me in clothes like this after we sign?"

"I want to see you without any of it. Just your skin."

"Take me to the bed," I whispered.

As he lifted me, his eyes darkened, his gaze falling briefly on my growing belly. "Is it wise to..."

I silenced him with a kiss. "Hush. Don't think about anything right now."

He laid me back on the mattress, his mouth finding the sensitive skin of my earlobe. The gesture sent a jolt through me, but I fought to keep my composure. I couldn't afford to lose my focus.

"I want to take the lead," I whispered, cupping his cheeks as he moved to part my legs. "Just this once..." I added when he hesitated.

"You want to be on top, Kitten?" he asked slowly. "That might drive me over the edge. I don't like giving up control."

I let my expression fall, allowing a touch of genuine sadness to show. "I thought this was about building trust." It wasn't entirely an act; the weight of the situation hit me, and for a moment, the sadness was real.

In one swift, athletic move, he shifted us. He settled onto his back, pulling me up until I was straddling him. "Satisfied?"

I leaned down, my hair veiling our faces, and whispered, "Not quite."

"Tell me what will satisfy you, and quickly. I'm burning up here."

"What if you suddenly try to switch back?" I asked innocently.

"No. I won't," he promised, the impatience evident in his voice and the hard press of his erection against me.

I reached for the bag I'd placed beside the bed and pulled out the shackles. He frowned, his eyes narrowing.

I leaned over him, my voice a seductive purr. "I need to know you're under my control. It's the only way I can let go."

I didn't wait for an answer. I took his hands and locked them firmly to the headboard. To my surprise, he didn't resist. Once he was secured, a wave of relief washed over me. I'd done it.

I grabbed a glass of wine from the nightstand, took a long sip, and then leaned down to press my mouth to his, forcing the liquid into his throat. He swallowed, licking his lips as we broke apart.

"Heady," he rasped.

"Did you like that?" I asked.

"Madly," he breathed, his eyes clouded with pure lust.

I traced the tattoo of my name on his chest. "I have something even better for you."

He smiled, looking dazed by the heat between us.

I slid off him slowly. He followed my every move, his eyes shining with desire-until I reached for my nightgown and pulled it back over my shoulders. "Sleep tight, Luca."

"What the fuck, Mila?"

I reached for the contract on the bedside table. "I'd rather die, Luca."

His eyes widened in shock as I turned toward the door. He was completely helpless. He lunged against the restraints, the bed slamming against the wall with a sound like thunder.

"Get back here, Mila!" he roared.

"No," I said calmly. I turned back one last time, watching him struggle, half-naked and chained to the bed. "Did you really think I would sign this?"

I smirked, slowly tearing the contract into tiny pieces and letting them flutter to the floor.

"If you walk out that fucking door," he growled, his voice vibrating with a dangerous promise, "you will regret it for the rest of your life!"
