Chapter 66 Beyond Fear and Doubt.
Melissa said to Alpha Avalor who couldn’t believe what he had just heard.
Melissa smiled at how wide his smile was and walked up to him, “I am tired of running.” With those words she walked past him and alpha Avalor could tell she didn’t just reluctantly choose to be with him but was at a stage that no one could make her happy anymore, he knew he had showered her with so much priceless things but still wasn’t able to get to her heart…instead she avoided him like he was a plague.
Despite Melissa's decision to be with Alpha Avalor, she still carried a heavy sadness within her. Alpha Avalor could sense her emotional turmoil and was determined to show her his love and support.
He started by giving her space when she needed it, allowing her to process her feelings and thoughts. But he didn't completely withdraw from her life. Instead, he made sure to be there for her, offering a listening ear and a comforting presence whenever she needed it.
Alpha Avalor would often surprise Melissa with little gestures of affection, like leaving her handwritten notes expressing his love and admiration for her. He would also prepare her favorite meals, hoping to bring a smile to her face and remind her of the joy they could find together.

Alpha Avalor took a small box from his pocket and handed it to Melissa. Inside was a delicate necklace, adorned with a sparkling gem that seemed to capture the light of the sun. "This necklace represents my love for you," he said softly. "Whenever you wear it, remember that you are never alone, and that I am always by your side."
Touched by the gesture, Melissa reached out and embraced Alpha Avalor tightly, tears streaming down her face. In that moment, she realized that she didn't have to face her sadness alone. Alpha Avalor was there, ready to support her and help her find happiness once again.
From that day forward, Melissa allowed herself to lean on Alpha Avalor. She opened up to him about her pain, her fears, and her longing for happiness. And Alpha Avalor listened, offering comfort and reassurance every step of the way.
