Chapter 32 Making Henary happy
Chapter 32 Making Henary happy
For three days now, Henary has been training diligently. Now Henary has gained three new powers.
Henary smiled slightly at Leondra, who was watching him.
"Leondra is getting paler, but she continues to help me train," Henary said to himself.
Leondra walked towards Henary and gently stroked his head.
"If you're tired, take a break. Don't push yourself too hard. Besides, there's no one bothering us now," said Leondra.
"It's okay, I'm not too tired yet. You don't need to worry," Henary replied with a smile.
"Alright. If you're really not too tired, we can practice one or two more times," Leondra said.
"Aren't you tired either? Or are you sick? Your face is getting paler, I don't want anything to happen to you," Henary said with a worried expression.
"And your body temperature is getting colder," she continued.
"But I don't feel any pain, so don't worry. I can still train you," replied Leondra.
"I really want to activate all my powers, but I don't want your condition to get worse when you ignore yourself and focus too much on me," said Henary, looking at Leondra.
Leondra smiled at Henary's concern. "I like it when you worry about me like this."
"Even though I don't love you yet, I don't want to lose you, Leondra. You're the only man who understands my condition," Henary replied.
"So don't be stupid and hurt yourself again," she continued with an annoyed look on her face.
"Okay. I'm sorry, I just wanted to prove to you that I love you very much, so I showed you my weakness," said Leondra.
"It's still a stupid thing to do, Leondra! Don't you think about the future? If you don't get a chance to live when you take the life pill out of your body, I will automatically leave you," grumbled Henary.
"You're right, I was stupid! I promise I won't do that again, so you can't leave me," replied Leondra with a soft chuckle.
"I promise too, Leondra. Don't worry about that. The most important thing is that you don't hurt me or betray me. I definitely won't leave you," said Henary.
"I promise, dear, I won't leave you. I won't be interested in other women either," said Leondra firmly.
"Really? There are many other women who are much prettier than me. You might be tempted," Henary tried to tease Leondra.
"Do you doubt my loyalty, dear?" Leondra asked, looking at Henary.
"I don't know if you'll always love me or turn to another woman. You're handsome enough to easily get a woman. Who knows, maybe you'll get tired of waiting for my certainty," explained Henary.
Leondra chuckled when she heard Henary's words. If only Henary knew that she had been waiting for him since birth, he would be surprised.
"You don't need to worry, dear, I won't get tired of waiting for you. Until you truly love me," replied Leondra.
"Your words could be just empty talk," grumbled Henary, who seemed unsure of Leondra's words.
"I won't say much, dear, but I will prove it to you. And after that, you will be convinced of my loyalty," replied Leondra.
"All right. I need your proof," replied Henary.
"Of course, dear," said Leondra as she gently rubbed Henary's back.
"Leondra, what's for dinner? Are we going hunting again?" asked Henary.
"I'll find something for you to eat. What do you want to eat? I know you're tired of eating meat from hunting," replied Leondra.
"Leondra," muttered Henary with a touched expression.
"Why? My guess was right, wasn't it? You are tired of eating that kind of food," said Leondra with a chuckle.
"But you're not in stable condition. Where are you going to go to find food?" asked Henary.
"Don't worry, I can still manage if it's just buying you food. I think I'll go to the human territory. There must be a lot of food you want there. Just tell me," said Leondra.
Henary's eyes sparkled as she looked at Leondra with a happy expression. "Can I come with you?" Henary asked enthusiastically.
"No. You stay here, dear. I don't want the wolves or other creatures to target you because they can smell you. If they know you're in the human territory, they can easily catch you," explained Leondra.
"Let me go instead. I also want to go to my place to get medicine. You stay here and wait for me to come back," she continued firmly.
Henary looked dejectedly at Leondra, but what Leondra was doing was indeed for his safety. He then replied with a nod.
"Now tell me, what food do you want?" Leondra asked with a smile.
Henary smiled too, even though he could still taste the food he wanted.
"I want instant noodles and vegetable salad. I also want snacks like grilled sausage and squid. Then buy some chips and drinks too," Henary replied enthusiastically.
But then Henary chuckled awkwardly, because he thought his request was too much and excessive. "Is that too much?" Henary looked uneasy at Leondra.
"It's okay, dear, I'll still buy you everything you want. Don't worry, I have plenty of money. Whatever you want, I'll try to make it happen. Unless you intend to leave me," replied Leondra.
Henary looked happy, smiling slightly as she lowered her head.
Leondra smiled too, seeing Henary looking awkward.
"Remember. You have to stay in the cave, don't go anywhere," Leondra warned.
"But I want to take a shower after this," Henary whispered.
"Okay, you can go around this area. But don't go too far, you understand?" Henary replied with an enthusiastic nod.
"You mustn't make me angry by sneaking off, even though you now have some new powers," said Leondra.
"Yes, Leondra. I won't make you angry. You can go now," said Henary, kissing Leondra on the cheek.
Leondra touched her cheek and smiled. "Didn't you kiss this side first?" Leondra said, holding her lips.
"No! Hurry up and go," Henary replied firmly.
"Okay, dear," Leondra then left with her powers, leaving Henary behind.
"Leondra's cheek is very cold. I hope nothing happens to Leondra," Henary muttered with a panicked expression.
