Chapter 31 Promise of unification

Chapter 31 Promise of unification
Leondra smiled slightly when she heard Henary's words, seemingly unconcerned about her mistake. She only thought that no matter what, the most important thing was that Henary could be with her.

"I can't fail to have Henary. No matter what happens, Henary must be mine," Leondra said to herself.

"Honey, please don't be mad at me. At that time, I really wasn't thinking clearly because all I could think about was making you happy. And I decided to make them my parents," explained Leondra with a pleading look.

"Then who are they exactly?" asked Henary.

"They are my subordinates. Please forgive me," said Leondra, clutching Henary's hand tightly.

Henary sighed; he had to forgive Leondra. Her mistake wasn't fatal, and most importantly, Leondra had helped him a lot.

"Alright. I forgive you. Next time, don't lie to me again, especially just to make me happy. I still don't like it," replied Henary, gently stroking Leondra's head.

Leondra smiled slightly, because Henary had forgiven her mistake.

"Then, who else knows about the life pill, Leondra? Do you know how to really cure yourself? Right now, you look like a living corpse," said Henary.

"Do I look scary like this?" asked Leondra.

"Honestly, with your pale face like this, you look like a vampire. But I know you're not a vampire," Henary replied.

"You must be suffering from that illness," he continued.

"I won't suffer as long as you're by my side," said Leondra with a smile.

"Now tell me, Leondra. How can I completely cure you?" asked Henary.

"Maybe if we have sex, you can cure me. Your blood alone has made me feel much better," replied Leondra.

Henary was silent, still hesitant to do it.

"I won't force you to do it. I've already said that I also want to do it out of love and the desire of both parties. If you do it only because you want to repay me or because you feel sorry for me, it probably won't work," explained Leondra.

"I'm sorry, Leondra," said Henary, bowing his head.

"Why are you apologizing? You're not at fault, dear. The most important thing is that you never leave me. There are many ways for you to love me," replied Leondra, caressing Henary's cheek affectionately.

Henary only responded to Leondra's words with a slight smile, confused about how to answer. He didn't want to lose Leondra, but his heart didn't fully love her yet.

"I hope there's another way to cure you," Henary muttered.

"Or we could just go to your family's witch clan territory," he continued.

"No! That's too dangerous for you. I don't want anything to happen to you. If I have to go, I can go alone without involving you," Leondra replied firmly.

"But, Leondra. I won't let you go alone while you're in this unstable condition," Henary said with a worried expression.

"I can still endure this condition. The scent of your body also helps stabilize my energy," Leondra said.

"I'm not lying. It's still too dangerous to leave this cave," he continued.

Henary sighed. Leondra was right; Alpha Almarjaf would likely come back to bother them.

"You can guess who won between the vampires who helped us yesterday and that stupid Wolf. So, it's better for us to stay here, and you should focus on training your powers again," said Leondra.

"Okay, Leondra. I understand," replied Henary.

"If I experience pain again later, you can help me as much as you can. Without us having to have sex, because I'm sure your aura is very strong," said Leondra with a smile.

"I'll help you as much as I can," muttered Henary, which made Leondra happy.

"Thank you, dear," said Leondra as she kissed Henary's hand.

"It's okay. Besides, I'm an adult, so doing something like that to help Leondra is fine, as long as I can still maintain the boundary of not having sex," Henary muttered to himself.

Leondra hugged Henary's body, then smiled slightly when she realized what Henary was thinking.

"Don't worry, dear, I won't rush into it. We'll enjoy the moment slowly so that you truly love me." Of course, Leondra said those words in her heart.

"Leondra, are you still going to train me in your current condition?" Henary asked with a worried look on his face.

"Oh my goodness, dear. Of course I'm still capable of doing that, don't worry. Tomorrow we'll go back to training," Leondra replied.

"I'll be fine, as long as you don't leave me. Trust me," she continued with a smile.

"Yes, Leondra," Henary replied with a slight smile.

"Tell me, dear, I need proof. I want to hear it directly from you that you won't leave me," said Leondra.

"Okay, Leondra. I promise I won't leave you," said Henary, gently stroking Leondra's cheek.

Suddenly, there was a loud clap of thunder, which startled Henary.

"Why did there suddenly sound like thunder? The weather is quite hot right now," Henary asked with a worried and surprised look on his face.

Leondra smiled instead, looking very happy. "That's a sign that you've bonded with me. So you really can't leave me, no matter what happens in the future."

"Really? Why does it sound so scary?" Henary was naturally worried that it was a bad sign.

Leondra pulled Henary's body to sit on her lap, then gently stroked Henary's hair.

"Don't worry, dear. Everything will be fine, we will continue to live together," replied Leondra.

When Henary wanted to speak, Leondra kissed Henary's lips aggressively. It was as if she didn't allow Henary to say anything bad.

The kiss, which was initially a little rough and forceful, slowly became gentle and Henary responded to the kiss.

After she was satisfied, Leondra stopped. "Don't say anything bad, dear, because you promised not to leave me," Leondra said as she gently caressed Henary's lips.

Henary nodded slowly, signaling her obedience to Leondra's command.

Henary hoped that in the future, nothing bad would happen to him or Leondra. And he could love Leondra sincerely.
