Chapter 29 Obsession

Chapter 29 Obsession
Henary was still hugging Leondra, feeling truly loved by her.

"I'm sorry for making you cry. I don't want you to leave me, no matter what happens. I want you to always be with me. If you intend to leave me, I give you permission to kill me. By destroying the pill in my body, I will surely die," explained Leondra as she wiped Henary's tears.

"I can't kill you either, Leondra. You've always been good to me. You're the one who always protects me," muttered Henary.

"Do you want to live with me forever?" asked Leondra, looking at Henary.

Henary was silent. Why was it so difficult to agree to Leondra's wish? Leondra had been so sincere with him.

"It turns out you still doubt me," said Leondra with a chuckle.

Leondra wiped his face roughly, then smiled at Henary. "If you leave me, I will do whatever it takes to get you back. If you refuse to come back, I will kill myself," Leondra said, staring intently at Henary.

Henary couldn't believe Leondra would say such a thing. "Leondra, you shouldn't say things like that. We don't know what the future holds. I could end up separating from you, even though we don't want that."

Leondra shook her head, she couldn't accept Henary saying something like that. That meant that if Henary knew all her lies, he might leave to return to that stupid Wolf.

"Why are you saying that, do you intend to leave me?" Leondra said as she hugged Henary tightly.

"That's not what I meant, Leondra." Henary was quite surprised. Why was Leondra acting like this? Was Leondra really afraid of losing him?

"Tell me that you will live with me forever. Only then will I believe that you won't leave me," Leondra demanded.

"Leondra, I don't know what my future holds. I could die before you do," said Henary, trying to explain to Leondra.

"If you die, I will die too! Do you agree to make a bond so we can always be together?" asked Leondra with a smile, holding Henary's shoulders.

"I don't like you saying this, Leondra. It means you're forcing fate," Henary growled.

"That's just your excuse, because you actually intend to leave me and go back to that Wolf," Leondra said with a disappointed expression.

"I've already told you, I will never go back to Alpha Almarjaf. You don't need to worry," Henary replied.

"Then why don't you want to be with me, Henary? I love you so sincerely. I don't want to lose you," said Leondra.

"I'm afraid," muttered Henary.

"What are you afraid of? I will always be by your side, and I promise there will be no other woman," said Leondra firmly.

"I don't want to, Leondra. I don't love you completely yet," replied Henary, lowering his head.

"Henary, you don't have to love me for us to be together. I'm sure that someday you will love me," said Leondra, trying to convince Henary.

"Why are you forcing me, Leondra? I've already told you, I'm not ready to do that. I'm afraid something will happen to us," Henary snapped.

"Alright. I'm not forcing you. Maybe you still love that Wolf," Leondra said with a faint smile.

Then, without saying another word, Leondra went into the cave.

"Leondra, wait! Are you mad at me? I really don't love Alpha Almarjaf anymore. Why don't you believe me?" Henary shouted a little as he tried to chase after Leondra.

Leondra remained silent, as if she didn't care about what Henary said.

"I want to be alone first, don't bother me," said Leondra as she closed the door to her private room.

"Leondra! Open the door. Why are you like this?" shouted Henary. But the door remained closed, Leondra tried to ignore Henary.

"Why is Leondra like this? She's obsessed with me, not in love with me. I have to persuade Leondra so she doesn't think like that," said Henary.

It had been five hours, and Leondra still hadn't come out of the room. Of course, this worried Henary.

"Leondra. Open the door, you've been in there too long. Don't be like this," Henary shouted.

Henary tried to open the door with all his strength, but he couldn't. The door was too strong.

"Leondra! Why are you mad at me?" Henary continued to try to persuade Leondra to come out.

Henary was very upset. "Leondra! If you don't come out, I'm leaving." Henary tried to threaten Leondra into coming out.

Sure enough, the door opened. And Leondra came out of the room.

"Leondra, what happened to you?" Henary asked worriedly.

"Oh my god, your body is so cold," he continued.

"Don't worry about me. If you want to leave, go ahead. Maybe after this I'll die," Leondra whispered.

Leondra's face was very pale, and her whole body was very cold.

Leondra clutched her chest tightly. She had been too reckless to remove the life pill from her body.

"Don't tell me you're like this because you removed your life pill earlier?" asked Henary.

Leondra didn't answer; she chose to go back inside.

Henary, who was worried, naturally followed her inside.

"Didn't you intend to leave? Why did you come into this room?" said Leondra.

"I'm worried about you. Your face is very pale and your body temperature is very cold," replied Henary.

Leondra clutched her chest even tighter, the pain increasing. Leondra even fell down because it was so painful.

"Oh my God, Leondra." Henary looked very panicked as he helped Leondra.

"Tell me you're mine. And promise me you'll never leave me," muttered Leondra, staring at Henary.

"Leondra, we have to treat you immediately. I don't want your wound to get worse," said Henary, trying to change the subject. Mainly because he was very concerned about Leondra's condition.

"You really don't want to say it?" whispered Leondra with a disappointed look.

"Don't talk about it, Leondra. Your condition could worsen if you don't get treatment immediately," said Henary.

"You don't care about me. Why should I obey your wishes? Go away," Leondra growled.

"What should I do? It's better to just obey Leondra's wishes. I can't lose Leondra either," Henary said to himself.

"You have to get better first, Leondra. Only then will I obey your wishes," Henary said firmly.

Leondra looked at Henary, hoping he wasn't lying to her.
