Chapter 67

Kaden sighed, lifting his eyes to the ceiling, “Thank you, God! I love you!”

I shook my head, “She was pretty persistent.”

“You didn’t help at all!” He said as he roughly shoved a cookie in his mouth.

“I would’ve. I just didn’t want to hurt her.” I shrugged.

“Who cares?” Stephen frowned, “She was holding your man!” He said in an overly girly voice.

All the girl and I looked at him, “We don’t talk like that.”

He held his hands up, “Sorry.”

We rolled our eyes and suddenly a scream sounded.

“What the hell?” I frowned and got up.

I walked into the living room and outside. Kara and Ali were trying to push Melissa into her car.

“What’s going on here?” I asked, walking up to them.

Ali grunted and pushed harder, “She won’t get in!”

“You can’t force her in!” I yelled in exasperation.

“I can.” Talia started walking up to Ali and Kara, “Get in the fucking car before I break your neck.” She growled in Melissa’s face.

Melissa stiffened before quickly getting in. They all stepped back and she slammed the door shut, driving off.

Laughing, I started walking back inside. Kaden pulled me to his chest and buried his face in my hair.

“She touched me.” He whimpered, tightening his hold on me.

I laughed and wrapped my arms around his waist, “Man up.”

We all walked into the house and I noticed that all the others were gone.

“Where’s the rest of the pack?” I asked.

“I told them they could go home. Until…yeah.” Kaden said awkwardly.

“Until what?” I asked confusedly.

“Until…yeah.” He said again before practically running down the hall.

I frowned, “That was…very weird. More weird than Jimmy.”

“Thank you! I love you!”” I heard Jimmy yell from the kitchen.

I turned to Kaden, “Until what?”

“Huh? What? Nothing.” He smiled before quickly walking into the kitchen.

What the hell? They're hiding something, what could it be?

“What’s going on?!” I yelled, throwing my arms in the air.

“He sent them home until you and Kaden finish the mating bond.” dren said casually as he walked into the kitchen.

“Oh…” I trailed off.

Ben ran back in, “Did she blush?!”

“No.” Ali said grumpily as she sulked into the kitchen.

I laughed, “Something like that wouldn’t make me blush, Benjamin.”

He sighed and stomped back into the kitchen. Laughing, I walked into the kitchen and saw them eating all my cookies.

“Vanilla cookies!” I yelled, charging towards dren who had the box.

“What?” He asked, cookie crumbs falling out of his mouth childishly.

“Gimme some!” I whined, stomping my foot.

“You just did that chick-foot-stomp thing. Give her the damn cookies, dude.” Nikko frowned

Ben quickly handed me the cookie box and I sighed happily.

“Thank you, Ben!” I smiled and kissed his cheek. I went to sit on my seat and was stunned for a minute when Kaden pulled me onto his lap.

“Hello!” I waved and grabbed a cookie.

He kissed my forehead, “Hey.”

I looked around, “Has anyone seen Carey and Jake?”

When they shook their heads, I shrugged and leaned back against Kaden.

“I’m bored!” I said randomly with a pout.

“It’s like the first day we met her all over again.” Stephen mumbled. Yeah, Jacob, that's because everyday is always boring because there's nothing to do.

I smiled at him, “Yeah, when we hated each other.”

“I never hated you.” He rolled his eyes.

I arched a brow, “Really now? You’re saying that you didn’t hate me when we first met? What a liar.”

“Okay, okay. But only a little bit.” He admitted sheepishly.

“Don’t worry. I hated you too.” I chuckled. He laughed and shook his head while Kaden set his chin on my shoulder.

“I want to take you out tonight. Just us.” He whispered.

I turned my head to look at him, “Like a date?”

He smiled and nodded, “Like a date.”

My eyes widened and I bit my lip, nodding frantically. I hopped off his lap.

“I’m going on a date!” I yelled in Ben’s face.

I'm the only one whom someone asks on a private date and I go around telling everyone about it. Don't blame me though, I was very excited about it.

He leaned back, “That’s nice.”

“YES! IT IS!” I grinned widely. I was excited because truthfully, I'd never actually been on a date.

Ben nodded, creeped out. “You’re freaking me out.”

“I know!” I yelled happily as I sat back down on Kaden’s lap.

Ben pursed his lips and narrowed his eyes at me as he pulled Ali onto his lap as well. Ridiculously jealous, I see. I stared back evenly until he frowned and looked away.

“Victory is mine!” I excitedly gleamed, waving my hands in the air.

“Victory is not yours! My eyes started to burn!” dren retorted defensively.

“Suuuuure!” I laughed, grabbing a skittle from Jimmy’s hand.

He quickly snatched it back, “Mine!”

I stared at him before swiftly grabbing another one, throwing it in my mouth, chewing and swallowing.

“Ha ha.” I taunted the young, poor, innocent child.

He glared at me and slowly brought his hand up. I looked at him in confusion. His hand went forward and grabbed my lips before I could even comprehend what was going on.

He stood up and walked around the table to me, “Open.”

I shook my head and pressed my lips firmly together.

“Open. Now.” He commanded, glaring at me as he pointed to my lips.

I shook my head again and tried to get his hand off my lips. He had a really tight grip.

Jimmy shrugged before plunging his finger into my mouth. My eyes widened in shock as I tried to pull away again. It only hurt me.

“Jimmy!” I mumbled around his finger.

“Where is it?” He grunted as his finger went all around my mouth, searching for his missing skittle.

“I already swallowed it, you piece of shit.” I glared at him angrily. What sort of boy is this? I guess this is what I signed up for, having siblings.

“Oh…” He trailed off awkwardly as he retracted his finger from my mouth slowly and awkwardly.

I wiped my tongue using my shirt; filthy, I know, “I don’t know where your finger has been!”

“I don’t know where your tongue has been!” He retorted, running his finger down my face.

I felt the wetness of my own saliva on my face and even though it was my saliva, I was disgusted because it was slimy and sticky and weird. And salivas are not supposed to go on the face, people.

“Jimm–” He knew I was about to call him by his full name so he interrupted me. Rather rudely, if I may add.

“I know my name!” He yelled exasperatedly as he plopped into his seat.

“Douche.” I glared.

“Bitch.” He glared in return.

“Jackass.”

“Slut.”

“Slut?! Now wait a minute, that's where you're mistaken because I am proudly a virgin, thank you very much.” I retorted, leaning towards him slightly.

“You? A virgin?!” He gasped dramatically, "Why is that just so hard for me to believe?"

“Well, better believe it, brother!” I pursed my lips sentimentally.

“Well, I still don't, you hoe!” He pouted and slowly crawled into Kyle's lap, “Hug me, big brother.” He widened his eyes and his lips quivered as well. He was so good at this puppy dog face thing.

You could practically see Kyle melting with anger and hopelessness. Kyle sighed defeatedly and hugged Jimmy. Jimmy squealed and hugged him back, tighter.

“I love you, my big brother, Kyle!” Jimmy screeched in Kyle's ear.

That's one annoying trait about Jimmy; one minute, he's sweet and adorable and the next, he's annoying the shit out of you.

“Jimmy! I swear I will only tell you this once and if you don't listen, I'll kill you. Get off me. NOW!”

Kyle yelled through gritted teeth in Jimmy's smiling face. Jimmy, the one who was just yelled at angrily, was genuinely happy and not giving a damn about anything Kyle just said.

Jimmy shook his head stubbornly, “No, big brother.”

Kyle gritted his teeth in annoyance before pushing Jimmy to the ground.

"But I just said I love you." Jimmy said sadly before he hopped up and attacked him.

Kyle started screaming like a little girl and flailing his arms around as Jimmy bit his cheek, hard.

I cracked up in laughter at the same time as Ben. Everyone else started laughing with us as Kyle continued to scream in pain.

“G-get him off, B-Cora! P-please!” Kyle stuttered, close to tears. They're always fighting.

I laughed, “Nahhh!”

“P-please! It hurts!” He whined as Jimmy switched cheeks.

I heaved a loud sigh, “Fine!”

I got up and walked over to them. Jimmy, ever since he was a baby, has always had this soft spot in the back of his neck. Whenever someone touched it, he would freeze and turn stiff. Only I knew about it.

I pinched and held the back of his neck and he froze instantly with a squeak of surprise.

“You’re going to get off him, okay?” I cooed like I was speaking to a child and in this case, I was.

Jimmy nodded slightly, “S-stop.”

Kyle quickly pushed Jimmy off, releasing him from my hold.

“You said you would never do that again!” Jimmy cooed sadly as he stood up.
