Edwina's words caught him by surprise. The following moment, he lost control of his actions. She turned her around so that she was facing him from behind, still lying on the bed.

Hades growled into her ears, his one hand sliding under her bare thigh,
" But..you..are weak.. Edwina..."

Edwina retorted, her heart pounding faster,
" I..I am not that weak..King Hades..I..Ah..."

She cried out in surprise from his unexpected thrust. He raised one of his thighs in the air, thrusting into her from behind. Her breathing hitched, and soon whimpers turned into moans as he began to push into her wetness slowly.

The position made a fascinating angle. From this side, she felt that his manhood was reaching all the walls inside her. Hades kept his strokes slow and gentle, careful not to exhaust her too much. Although he didn't say those words out loud, Edwina understood them from his actions.

As if Hades's wolf heard through her mind, he began to pound a bit faster than before. His one hand slid over to tweak her nipples, hearing more blissful moans coming out of her mouth.

Edwina's body hummed in pleasure. In her haze of pleasure, she threw back an arm to grab onto his shoulders. This little action unleashed the beast inside Hades who was being impatient to pound into her fiercely.

With an animalistic growl, Hades began to thrust into her fiercely, going in and out so fast that the sound of their flesh slapping became evident in the air. Her dripping increased with his long thrusts, her body welcoming him.

Hades's wolf became more impatient because of her welcoming attitude. His phallus kept pushing until he was buried fully inside her. Hades's growl echoed into her ears, demanding and authoritative,
" Look at me, Edwina! I want to see you! LOOK AT ME!"

Edwina complied with his demand wholeheartedly. Today, there was no feeling of giving herself to her master. It was a pure feeling—no bitterness, no resentment. She tilted her head back so that she could see his face fully. Her eyes snapped open groggily to welcome his sweat-covered face.

He looked so handsome in the dim darkness. His eyes sometimes glowed in the presence of his inner wolf. He shoved inside her hard and roughly, capturing the look in her eyes. He dipped his head down to claim her lips into a sizzling kiss, forgetting the rules between master and slave. At the same time, his manhood hit deeper inside her, pushing both of them to the edge of climax.

Outside the door, Angelina froze between her tracks when she came closer to the door. She actually thought of replacing Hades tonight to keep him away from her.

Tears welled up in her eyes when she heard their moans and groans. Her long nails dug into her palms hardly. In the end, she bit her lips together and whirled around to march back to her room.

The following morning, every corner of Wolverton World happened to hear the news that King Hades had actually tortured an innocent slave to death. That innocent girl was nearly killed because of his cruelty.

Creatures in Wolverton World always stick to justice and fairness. So, they were naturally angry after hearing the news. However, no one knew how a private affair in Red Darkling Castle had become a public concern.

Far away from Red Darkling, a group of young werewolf soldiers were being trained hard. Axel, who just returned from his morning tour of the nearby market, had come over to face his cold-faced brother. Ace had been hard on himself to get stronger. Sometimes, it seemed so hard that even Axel pitied him mentally.

" Brother..I..I just heard the news from the market!", Axel replied in a stammering voice, his expression plastered with complicated feelings.

Ace stopped doing his push-ups and looked up at him, wondering,
" What is it?"

Axel told everything that he heard from the market. Apart from being tortured, there was no mention of that slave's name. However, Axel strongly believed that it was Edwina undoubtedly. King Hades hated Edwina to death. He had vented his anger on her obviously.

The more he heard about the rumours, the angrier his face became in rage. No wonder his wolf had felt pain in its heart since last night. Ace growled, stomped on his feet,
" Fuck! I am going to kill him..I am going to kill King Hades...We should return to the pack now.."

Axel gave him a look of worry before reminding,
" Brother, this would be an impulsive act. We have sneaked out twice already. Do you know what will happen if the master finds us? This is completely restricted."

Ace growled inside, clenching his eyes shut. He couldn't believe that someone else had dared to lay fingers on his mate. He kept pacing back and forth, rumbling his words out,
" What..what can I do then, Axel? I have to save her from that hell.. I told her to poison the king but she must have delayed it. Why doesn't she understand that someone like King Hades doesn't deserve pity?"

Axel concluded the matter deeply. After giving it a deep thought, he came up with a plan. Axel replied with a smirk, looking at his brother meaningfully,
" I have a plan brother. Only if you approve! We don't have to go there but we can obviously give King Hades a tough time."

Later in the evening, the members of Moon Eyed Pack A.K.A Edwina's pack members were busy building their new houses. Alpha Artemis was keeping an eye on it closely. His mind was somewhere lost. Ever since he heard the rumours about a slave getting beaten to death, his heart couldn't help but wrench. He knew the hatred King Hades had been bearing for him. All he prayed to the Moon Goddess was that it wasn't Edwina.

Several footsteps began to approach him. When Alpha Artemis looked behind, he was shocked to see his neighborhood pack members, Alpha Ares's Pack and Alpha Demon's Pack. All of them had a dark and scary expression.

Alpha Artemis spoke respectfully, greeting them,
" Alpha Ares, Alpha Demon..Why are you all here? Is there any situation?"

Alpha Demon stepped forward to explain, his words came out growling furiously,
" Alpha Artemis! You don't have to be afraid. We know everything! We might not be big packs but we know everything. Besides, Alpha Edwina has helped us a lot at the beginning of our pack building. We are always ready to protect her even if it costs against the king."

Alpha Artemis was slightly taken aback. He stumbled looking between them cluelessly,
" What are you guys talking about?"

Alpha Ares came forward with a letter in his hand, and replied fuming in anger,
" King Hades has tortured Alpha Edwina for his own pleasure. Alpha Edwina's mate has begged to help her. We understand that you are accused of killing his previous mate but he can't hurt Alpha Edwina according to his own wish. We have to go now and demand an explanation. 2 months isn't over yet. How dare he raise his hands on her when she is innocent?"

Alpha Artemis felt a shock of blow from their words. His assumptions had turned true but Ace should have discussed with him first before sending letters to the neighborhood pack.

Why did he infuriate these pack members?

Back to the Red Darkling, Hades had been busy, handling state affairs all day. The investigation was still going on. However, Cohen was surprised to find that maid Flora was missing without a trace.

Did she run away to protect someone?

About the rumours spreading across the lands, Cohen was aware of them but he just ignored them since it wasn't necessary. People always gossiped and it was no big deal.

Inside the study, Hades was giving his seal on some documents. His movements seemed a little urgent as if he had something important to do later on. But Cohen noticed his king's temper. He secretly did the work fast because he wanted to see Edwina as early as possible. He didn't let her leave the chamber and asked all the treatments to do it there.

Not long after that, the guards who were in charge of the front door rushed into the study, shouted loudly at Cohen,
" Beta...call the king now..There are hundreds of werewo
lves rebelling in front of the gate. They want the king to apologize for his ruthless act."
