Its Finished
Uriel’s small body barely reached the mid-chest of the might Zeus. His towering form held a dark shadow over her as she clutched the handle of her dagger at her side. In no way, shape or form, would this dagger do her any good, but the small amount of comfort it gave her had her shaky breath not quiver so much.

Lucifer, being held to the floor by the darkened angels, growled. He was livid that his mate would dare disobey him, but most of all, he was worried for her safety. The prophecy was unfolding in front of his eyes, his Uriel was hanging by a mere thread, just a piece of meat ready for Zeus to clutch and do away with.

Lucifer grunted, his wings breaking free, his claws scratching the already ruined floor. Angels fought back, pushing him lower, the electrical bands holding him tightly to the floor only grew stronger as Zeus looked over his shoulder, smirking.

“And who do you think I am?” Zeus lulled his head to the side in amusement. This tiny goddess in front of him had him laughing from within. She came so willingly, so easily because she had already bonded to the God of Destruction, making it so easy for her to find him.

His once complicated meticulous plans were paying off, his back straightened, feeling the confidence build inside him.

“I’m not sure,” Uriel glanced at the god with her golden eyes. Her posture waved when she saw his eyes go from the deepest navy to that of bright blue. Those bright blue eyes she remembered from so long ago when her touch had healed Zeus from his burdens.

Hera and Michael shivered in the corner. Both of their naked bodies being poked and prodded by angels. The tears in their skin dripped their golden blood to the floor. They dare not to make a sound as they watched the scene unfold.

Just as Hera and Michael, all the gods held onto their souls. News had traveled fast of Uriel’s prophecy how their lives, along with the lives of all living things, held into the balance of this tiny goddess.

Meanwhile, the gentle tapping of a small claws hopped over to the cage that held Parisa. In the short time that Loki had turned into a Raven, his skills had exceedingly grown. Able to manipulate his size in just a matter of minutes when studying the books Poseidon had in his library. His now small body hopped between the bars, pecking lightly to his mother. Parisa stared down at the bird, immediately knowing who it was.

“Loki?” her shaky voice whispered. His head rubbed against Parisa’s thigh in greeting. “You need to let your father free,” she whispered hastily. “Luci is out in the open, but your father, you could help him.” Loki opened his beak in understanding. The vile around his neck that Uriel had given him would help heal his father’s wounds and help Lucifer.

Loki got to work, gently hopping across the floor. No god or goddess paid him any mind, thinking it was just a lost, stupid bird.

Uriel’s eyes remained on Zeus, making sure his attention was never diverted. “You are something different,” Uriel mused, trying to get the mighty god to talk. Zeus stepped closer, Lucifer shaking the chains now covering his wings.

“That’s right.” Zeus’s dirty bare feet slapped the floor. “Something different entirely.” Uriel scratched her face with her hand. Trying to buy time. She had to until another god or goddess was free because she knew her physical body could not do a thing against this god.

“Time is of the essence, Uriel.” Zeus backed away from her. “Come.” Walking with Zeus, since she had no other choice, she walked past her mate that lay on the floor. The helplessness in his eyes was overshadowed by the rage he had to get to his mate.

“Don’t even think about,” Zeus didn’t even look over his shoulder once Uriel had stopped to stare at her mate. Lucifer’s glare at Uriel, a warning for her to leave, didn’t make her budge. She mouthed, “I love you,” before turning back to follow the God of the Sky.

Lucifer’s breath hitched. Not that he didn’t appreciate the sentiment, but he knew those words had a double meaning. It was goodbye.

Uriel rounded the table, much similar to the table back in the Underwater Palace of Poseidon. This time it was folded into a scene of Earth. New York City, a place where heavy populations of innocent people lived and children played.

“Time,” Uriel muttered to herself, watching fire drench the skys from above. Glancing back to Lucifer, he saw the darkness in his eyes as the bright red electricity engulf him further.

“I’m channeling his power,” Zeus interrupted. “Sucking him dry of the power he holds inside and putting it here.” Waving his hand over the table, fire rained from the sky, causing buildings to go up into flames. Women and children ran from their homes, ran into the streets only to succumb to the fire.

“No,” Uriel shook her head. “You can’t do this. They are innocent. They did nothing to you!” Zeus chuckled, not moving from his place. His eyes danced across the apparition on the table.

“Oh, they aren’t dead yet,” he scoffed. “But soon, it will happen. This is just a glimpse into the future. In time, this is what the Earth will look like.” Zeus’ hand waved over the table, now showing the entirety of Earth and of Bergarian. Both worlds, rising in flames. Terrible screams of pain and terror rang in Uriel’s ear, begging for mercy.

“Make it stop!” She cried out, her ears bleeding from the innocent. “You cannot do this to them! They did nothing!” Zeus rolled his head back in laughter.

“But I can, and I will!” He growled. “I am that of time. I control the patterns of life. I am to decide of life and death of people that my sons and daughters have created. I am the true ruler of all the cosmos.”

Uriel took her hand from her ear, blood stained her fingers as the screams ceased. “Father of time?” Uriel muttered. Remembering her studies, she knew of such a Titan that was said to be the father of all the cosmos. Her research ran deeper when her mother was gone, finding out a name that had been wiped away from all the history books of the Celestial Kingdom. Only the humans still had such history written.

“Kronos,” she muttered. Zeus stood back from the table, rounding it to come closer.

“You are Kronos,” she said, louder for all to hear. Shouts from gods that had broken free from angels were silent again as their voices were silenced by darkened hands.

“You are smarter than you look,” Kronos smiled wickedly. Black tar falling from his mouth. Uriel pursed her lips, not liking the undertone of the voice.

“That is impossible,” she added. Ares broke free from the Angel’s hold, stumbling to the ground. “I felt you in that damn box!” He hissed. “There is no way—” Kronos used Zeus’ body to wrap red lightning around Ares’ mouth.

Uriel’s eyes widened looking at Mariah. She was held against the wall by three angels, hands bound above her head, but it didn’t go unnoticed by a certain glow to Mariah’s stomach. Bright light radiated from the depths of Mariah’s womb in a rhythmic beat.

“Flowers,” Uriel whined. This had to end quickly, for the sake of everyone, especially the new innocent heart that fluttered in Mariah’s belly.

“It is quite possible,” Kronos touched the face that he had infused himself with. “I am the father of the God of the Sky. I am within all of you,” his hand waved around the room. “I am the father of the cosmos, the things that live within. I am the Titan of Time of when things should be and when they should not.”

Uriel looked to Lucifer, his face red with fury, trying to fight the bonds that strapped him down. His black wings shuttered while he tried to get on his knees. Lucifer looked at Uriel. “Leave,” he mouthed. “Don’t,” he shook his head. Uriel wanted to listen to her mate, but this was her battle to bear, even if she was scared to death.

She was not the goddess of bravery, fighting, and courage. She was just the Goddess of Innocence, one that wanted to protect the lives of those who had done nothing wrong and did not deserve this sort of death.

“It took time,” Kronos continued. “But I figured out a way to connect with my children. Just like all magic, it grows over time, and no one even saw me coming.” Kronos walked to Hera, picking her up by the back of her hair. “Especially this one.” Kronos’ drooled tar ran down Hera’s cheek. “I planned from the very beginning. I planted the seed for you to keep Uriel hidden so her powers wouldn’t grow,” he whispered. “She is now too weak to defend those she holds so dear.” Hera sobbed as Kronos dropped her to the floor.

“Taking Zeus’ body was no problem. My spirit can mingle between any of my children, but Zeus, being the one that ultimately destroyed me so long ago, I had to get some revenge.” He shrugged his shoulders. “I can take my spirit and go in between both of our bodies, no problem.”

“Maybe you shouldn’t eat your children and they wouldn’t have to rise against you,” Uriel spat. The fire she felt in her mark had her snapping in ways she never thought she could. She wanted nothing more than to end the Titan, but how was she to do that?

“Listen here, my granddaughter,” Kronos sauntered his way to Uriel. His robes danced across the floor now that they stood chest to chest.

“I am the King of the Cosmos. I will wipe everything that my sons and daughters have created and will create a new era, a new world that lives by my rules. My way.” Kronos gritted his teeth.

Uriel felt a surge in her body. Being so close to the Titan had her seething at the effects of his darkened soul. He was full of sin, full of evil that her little body and what little power she thought she had had her hand reach out.

“NO!” Lucifer screamed from the sidelines. Uriel grabbed Kronos’ hand, her golden eyes looking into the depths of Kronos. Kronos only smirked, watching the glow of his hands.

“What are you going to do, little goddess?” Kronos watched with a smile on his face. Uriel’s mouth now set into a firm, thin line as the warmth grew hot. Her other hand cupped the same large hand of Kronos until Kronos watched Uriel’s hands turn black.

Loki, who had been working at the throne pecking away the chains his Father had been tied to, finally released the last one. Hades had fully shifted into his Wolf but was weak from his powers being drained. Loki shook the vile necklace off his neck, pushing it towards Hades. He picked up the vial, swallowing it whole. The thick fur that had sprouted on his back stood up on end, feeling the healing power. Hades lunged forward, knocking over Angels that held Lucifer down. His fangs bit into wings, causing feathers them to fly around him. Angels scattered away, now noticing the fury of Hades at his full strength.

Teeth ripped into the electric chains, falling to the floor. Lucifer took no time as he felt the chains being lifted from his body. He burst his wings at full speed, covering half the length of the room, his hands turned black, dripping hot plasma to the floor.

Lucifer was going to end Kronos. He would end the Titan once and for all. The rage built inside him once he darted his eyes to Uriel. Half her body had been charred black, black smoking being sucked into her lungs as her hands held steadfast to Kronos.

Black tar no longer ran down Zeus’ face. The grey hair of his beard turned white. Kronos fought against Uriel’s hands to free himself, but Uriel stood, staring at him with her golden eyes. “It’s finished, Kronos,” her whisper echoed through the walls. More black ash worked up Uriel’s arms and her neck.

Lucifer growled, seeing his mate’s white skin now charred. It cracked, leaving hints of red underneath her. Lucifer grabbed his mark, feeling the lamb on his chest burn bright.

The evil power was fading in the room. Angels being knocked out of the stupor, their wings turning back to the glorious white and their eyes back to their normal color. Confusion set in the room as Parisa burst from the cage as her mate set her free. “Kill him now!” She directed cry to Lucifer.

Vulcan, holding the sword he wielded for Lucifer, pushed it into Lucifer’s hand. Vulcan stared at Kronos, whose body had become weak. It no longer looked like the evil that saturated Zeus’ body, but one could not be sure.

“It will destroy what is intended!” Vulcan hurried his words. In the seconds that transpired, Lucifer had already flapped his wings, pushing Kronos’ hands away from Uriel with the mighty wind. Kronos laid on his back with Lucifer straddling him. His dark navy eyes were in disturbance as Lucifer raised up his sword.

“I am the God of Destruction,” Lucifer hissed. “And it is this day I end you.” Pushing the blade deep within Kronos’ chest, black tar covered the sword. Lucifer wasn’t satisfied and raised his sword again to plummet it into his head. The crack of bone had Parisa whine from afar, Hades holding his mate tightly.

As Lucifer had pushed Kronos away from Uriel, her body had sucked enough evil from his body, it caused her to sway. Vulcan, seeing Uriel begin to fall raced to her side, holding her with his arms. Gently he sat on the floor holding her. Vulcan pushed his long beard away to look upon her face.

Both were daughters to Hera, but with different fathers. His half-sister stared at him with heavy eyes. “Is he gone?” Uriel choked. The blackness continued to rise above her neck and to her cheeks.

“Yes, he’s gone, you did it,” Vulcan wiped away a tear. “You did a great job.” Uriel chuckled, trying to raise her hand to touch Vulcan’s bearded face.

“Your eyes,” Uriel paused. “Look like my mom’s.” Uriel choked on her words. Her head rolled back, unable to hold the weight of her head.

“Uriel,” Vulcan took his other large hand, cradling her head to his chest. “That’s because I’m your half brother,” Vulcan’s voice cracked. Uriel’s faint, forced smile had her eyes dimming eyes brighten for a moment.

“I’ve always wanted a brother,” her eyes began to close until Lucifer rushed to her side. Still covered in the black tar-lik blood.

“Uriel, you wake up damnit,” Lucifer took Uriel out of Vulcan’s hands. Vulcan’s eyes not leaving his sisters. “You can’t go to sleep.” Lucifer’s frustration came out as tears. Gods and goddess surrounded the recently mated couple, their hearts feeling the goddess’ soul fading.

“You wake up right now,” Lucifer gently shook her.

“Are you okay, Luci?” she coughed. “Are you hurt?” her eyes closed only for Lucifer to shake her gently.

“I won’t be if you don’t stay awake!” His tears turned to sobs. The pain in his chest growing so great, he thought he would die. He would die, he would die without her if he left her here alone. He would go on a rampage, begging the gods to take his life, to have him leave this world, to meet his mate amongst the stars.

“I’m just so tired.” Her hand tried to reach Lucifer’s cheek but fell back into her lap. The blackness of her body crusted over, her skin now dry, flaking in the gentle breeze. “My parents?” she whispered, her eyes now closing.

“They are fine,” Lucifer sobbed into her chest. “Fates, don’t leave me damnit. Please stay with me.”
