AURORA'S POV
The moment Nicholas walked out of my apartment I break town in tears. I never wanted to hurt him but I don't have any other option left because that lady had called me again and told me that she was going to hurt Aiden. At first I thought that she was just laughing but then I got a video of a man approaching Aiden who was playing in the playground.
The man gave something to Aiden which after seeing Aiden breakdown in crying which made me realize that it must be something that scared him.
That's when I decided to break up with Nicholas because if breaking up with him can save the lives of many then I can do that. But I knew that it was not going to be so easy that's why I started to compare him with Matthew which was such a low blow from my side. But what was I supposed to do other than that? Nicholas was not a foolish person who would just accept my decision of break up so I had to break his heart so that he would go away from here without asking anymore question.
However now after seeing the news of Nicholas's accident on the TV, I am regretting my decision. I can't even go and meet him because then
the women can harm him more. I have done what she wants me to do then why this accident happened? I so badly want to go to the hospital but I can't take any risk and that's why I am not picking up Evelyn's call.
Just then my phone starts ringing so | look at the caller ID to see that it's again a private number. With shaky hands, I pick up the call and hold the phone near my ear.
"Who is this?" I ask although I can feel that this is the same woman who has been blackmailing me.
"I can see that you have broken up with your billionaire boyfriend. But still, I don't believe you completely and that's why | just show you what I can do if you don't comply with me. Your next task is to leave San Francisco completely. You better do as I have told you as soon as possible or you should know by now that I can do anything." That's all she says and disconnects the call.
A fresh batch of tears fall out of my eyes and with that my whole world crash down in front of me. I look around my apartment which I have built by my sweat and hard work but now I have to leave everything behind or the lives of my loved ones will be at stake.
But where will I go? I don't have anywhere to go or anyone to talk to other than the people I know here. I am in such a bad condition that I can't even take anyone's help to solve this problem. Because without even doing anything the blackmailer has harmed Nicholas.
I know I should not hide this thing from everyone but how I an supposed to tell them that a lady is blackmailing me to leave my life behind. But I can't trust anyone knowing that the lady is really roaming around without anyone's knowledge. Who knows she may be someone I already know. However right now I will do as she is telling me to do and after some time, I will contact Nicholas or Jacob to let them know exactly what's going on.
I wipe my tears and walk inside my bedroom to pack a bag to take with me. Then I search through my phone some places where I can go and hide for some days. I just hope that Nicolas can see through my facade of hating him. He should understand that I can never hate him instead I have started to fall for him. Although I have broken his heart but yet I have faith in our bond that he will not mistake my decision. Instead he will try to find out why I have taken the decision of breaking up our relation.
I know that the blackmailer told me to go away from San Francisco but I am not going to leave the city just because she told me to. I am going away from here but I will not come out in front of everyone before I find out exactly who is the woman/blackmailer. I select Marina town which is only 1 hour and 50 minutes away from here. Then I book a cab so that I don't have to wait long. I quickly get ready because I don't want that lady to again do something to my loved ones. I attached the harness to Skittle's body and then make my way out of the apartment after looking at it tor the last time.
The cab is already waiting outside the apartment building so 1 quickly get inside and soon the car starts driving away. I have also booked a hotel room in Marina town so that I don't have to look around different
hotels to stay in.
Today was supposed to be a good day for me but turns out it's the worst day of my life. Because I have to leave Nicholas and others behind for their safety. But I will not stay away for long, I will definitely find out who is the lady that is blackmailing me. At one point I thought that it can be Sienna but then again what is her motive to blackmail me when she has Matthew to herself. So now my mind is completely blank because I don't have any idea about who can be the blackmailer.
1 clearly understand that my communication with Nicholas is bad and that's why I haven't told him anything. But only a few will understand why I have done the breakup.
I pay the driver after we reach near the hotel. After getting out of the cab I work inside the hotel and give my details to the receptionist who gives me the room keys. I take the elevator and soon rich the floor where my room is located. It's not a very luxurious place but it's a cozy place where I can live peacefully.
The first thing I do after entering the room is to switch on the TV and directly go to the news channel where I can get information about Nicholas's situation. I think this is the first time I am glad that reporters
are so quick and so clever to get every little detail about any incident.
"Mr. Nicholas Moretti, the famous billionaire has gotten into an accident.
We have learnt from our sources that the truck which hit his car hasn't been found yet but the police is doing everything in their power to track down the driver. About Mr. Moretti's health, the sources are saying that he has broken his left arm and the doctor has asked him to be on bed rest for as long as he doesn't get well. There is another interesting thing that we have found out that the famous billionaire's girlfriend hasn't arrived in the hospital yet which is very suspicious as we have heard that they are madley in love with each other. So it's kind of shocking that she hasn't come here to meet her boyfriend. Can it be that she is the reason behind the accident? Although we haven't been confirmed by anyone but again our sources have told us that the couple has broken up just before the accident. So we are waiting for any legal confirmation from Mr. Moretti himself to know more about his accident.

The remote falls out of my hand just hearing the news. Who the hell told them that I am the reason for the accident? I can never think such a
thing then who is giving them false news! Again my phone rings and this time I don't get scared and pick up the phone all though it's again a private number.
"Where have you gone?" The blackmailer asks.
"You are asking as if you don't know where I am." I reply wiping my tears.
"I have asked you a question and you are going to reply to me without throwing tantrums." She says angrily making me realize that it seems she really doesn't know where I am. So, I decide to take a chance and give out false information to see what she will do.
"I am in China Town right now." I reply pretending to be scared.
"Why haven't you gone somewhere far away?" She yells like she is going to pay the money for my traveling.
"You didn't tell me where to go exactly. You just ordered me that go away from San Francisco and I did. So you don't get to complain about it." I reply sassily.
"Don't you dare to talk to me in that tone? You do not get to make any decision here I am going to tell you what to do and you are going to do exactly that or you know what I can do." She again pretense me but this time I am not going to be scared of her because I have realized that she can only control me if she knows exactly where I am. So now l am going to take help from my situation of being away from San Francisco.
"I am sorry, please don't do anything to my family or friends. I will do anything you tell me to do." I make a crying noise so that my acting feel like realistic. Two can play this game Miss blackmailer.
"I will call you exactly after half an hour and then you are going to send me your life location so that I can believe you are not lying to me being in China Town. Then I will decide where you are going to stay from now on and you will do as I am going to tell you." By saying this she again like before disconnects the call without letting me reply anything. But this time I am very happy that she at least give me half an hour because that is enough for me to contact Jacob.
Actually I want to contact Nicholas but he is now in the hospital and after the accident he needs rest. So I can't bother him by telling him
about the blackmailer. He is a hot-headed person and he will get too much angry to realize that this situation needs patients not anger.
I check the hotel room's telephone connection and see that it's working and without any wasting of time I dial Jacob's number. But his number is saying out of reach. I again dial his number two more times but the same thing keeps happening.
Fuck! Now what am I supposed to do?
