Chapter 35 No progress

Suzette became a little more excited, for she found out that Suzanne was involved in the play.

Actually, when they didn't offend each other openly in the past, Suzette still disapproved of her getting into the entertainment circles.

The entertainment circles were very complicated, and Suzanne wanted to achieve her aim without making any efforts.

Now Suzette wanted to see if Suzanne had made any progress over five years.

"Em, there's nothing to look at." Ruby said.

Ruby held the drink in her hand with a scornful look.

There was no scene to act anyway. She left with Amber out of sight directly.

Amber was too timid to control Ruby.

Lee naturally did it, so as to make a good impression with her immediate superior.

Suzette was a little relieved to have Lee with her.

By this time, the break time was over. So Warren continued filming.

Suzette focused her eyes on the set again.

At that moment, Suzanne dressed her costume, gracefully walked out.

Suzanne was another supporting actress with a few scenes to act, for the whole costume drama was dominated by male actors.

There was another reason why Suzette was initially reluctant to consider such character.

The character was easily hated by the audience.

And it was not a good sign that sometimes the audience turned their hate on to the actresses.

That supporting actress was a princess, who was sinister and villainous with a pure appearance, and always did some stupid and dirty things.

But the only advantage of the character was attractive beauty.

Generally speaking, this kind of character was of little use in this costume drama.

But she could act, for her boss invested a amount of funds for the cast.

Tough as Warren was. Sometimes he acted according to investor, if it came to his bottom line, he was completely principled.

"Scene one, action!"

As soon as Warren shouted, everyone got into the act.

Suzette stood quietly and kept watching. It was just a few simple words of dialogue, but Suzanne was stopped by Warren all the time, and even to the end, Warren rained down curses on her head.

Even though Suzanne invested funds into the cast, she was still getting scolded.

Suzanne was so heavily scolded and burst into tears.

So eventually, Suzette was not interested in it.

From just a few lines, it made sure that Suzanne had not improved at all.

She was what she had been five years ago.

Or she was even worse than she had been five years ago. At least, it could obviously see that her appearance was much worse than before.

Suzette, subsequently left to find a place to rest.

Ruby acted several scenes again today, and the play was over for the time being.

After finishing today's scenes, Ruby left directly without saying something to Suzette.

"Suzette, She is such a bad temper..." Lee said.

Lee carefully looked at Suzette.

"Well."

Lawrence smiled so sweetly.

Looking at her son's beautiful face, Suzette felt very satisfied in my heart.

That made Suzette so excited to work hard.

Only by working harder could she provide her children with a better life.

But now that she had seen it, even if it was 1 a. m., she would reply with a message politely.

Roderick sent in a simple message, which was about filming of today.

Suzette gave him a brief, just like typing a brief report.

Suzette was about to turn off her phone when the call rang.

She was completely startled.

Not long after sending out the message, Roderick called her right away.

Suzette felt hesitated, and then answered the phone, "Roderick, why don't you go to bed?"

It was closing time, so she felt less serious.

Roderick chuckled over the phone, "Well, haven't you even gone to bed yet?"

Well, they were about the same.

"I am ready for bed," Suzette said.
