Stevan, who heard Alexandra's voice, immediately looked straight ahead. "Are you okay?" he asked with a worried expression.
Alexandra was immediately stunned. The face she now saw was a face that hurt her heart so much. She couldn't even tell the difference between her ex-lover and the king. They were both really similar, like twins separated by two worlds.
"Alexandra? Why?" Stevan waved his hand in front of her face.
"Oh, nothing." Alexandra immediately threw away all her bad thoughts. She then woke up from her sleep and sat leaning against the back of the bed. "How are you, King? Is the situation outside safe?" she asked.
"The situation is safe. Why are you suddenly here? I've been looking for you," Stevan replied, starting to feel calm.
"I'm sorry. Since I heard that a group of vampires would attack the palace, I've been scared and ended up not being able to sleep. Therefore, I chose to go to the king's room, because I feel this is the safest place to hide," said Alexandra, with an innocent expression.
Stevan suddenly smacked Alexandra's forehead. "Stupid. In fact, the king's room is the main target for the enemy. Next time, don't hide in my room if there is another war."
"Ouch... It hurts, King." Alexandra stroked her forehead while pouting her lips.
"That's your punishment for making me worry." Without asking permission first, Stevan's hand suddenly touched Alexandra's stomach. "He seemed to be growing healthy. Your stomach is starting to get bigger." A beautiful smile was etched on his face.
Alexandra was silent while enjoying the sight that touched her heart so much. A warm feeling began to envelop her. The king's affection really touched her. "Soon they will all know that I am pregnant," she whispered with a sad face.
"Therefore, be my wife," said Stevan, without any burden.
"Is that possible?" asked Alexandra, staring at Stevan's face intensely.
"Of course. What is impossible for me?” Stevan answered with high self-confidence.
“Okay. I’m willing to be your wife,” Alexandra said suddenly, making Stevan gasp until he forgot how to blink.
“Are you serious about what you said?” Both of her hands held Alexandra’s shoulders. His gaze tried to find a lie in her eyes.
Alexandra chuckled softly seeing the king’s reaction. She pushed the king’s hand away, then stood up from the bed. “I want to go back to my room,” she said as she walked away.
“What? She’s playing with me?” Stevan muttered as he began to come to his senses. “Alexandra! Don’t just run away like that!” Stevan stood up from his seat and was about to chase after her.
“Hey, wait! Don’t chase me! Or I’ll take back what I just said,” Alexandra threatened, making Stevan speechless. She smiled. “Good. I’ll go first. Bye….”
“Wow, she’s so brave to me,” Stevan muttered as he smiled seeing Alexandra leave his room. “Looks like I have to think about my wedding plans from now on. Oh my, I’m so happy this time. Yes, soon I’ll be a husband!” He couldn't hold back his happy smile. The most awaited thing was finally going to come true.
In the human world, Alessia locked herself in her room. Since the incident that almost took her life, she didn't dare to go to the forest anymore. She hadn't drunk blood for three days. The bloodstock she had stored had run out. Her body began to feel tired and listless. Her face looked pale. She tried to drink quite a lot of mineral water to quench her thirst. However, it was in vain.
"What should I do?" she muttered softly. Suddenly, a scream was heard from the direction of the kitchen. Alessia, who was curious, immediately came out of her bedroom.
When she arrived in the kitchen, she saw blood splattered on the floor, making the lycan side of her rebel and want to lick the blood immediately. However, she tried to hold it back with all her might. "What happened to you, Sofia?" she asked when she saw the blood coming from Sofia's index finger.
"My finger was hit by a knife. Oh my God! The bleeding won't stop." Sofia put her index finger under the running water of the tap.
“Let me help you.” Alessia immediately pulled Sofia’s hand and brought her index finger to her mouth, then sucked on it.
“What are you doing?” Sofia felt terrible pain.
Alessia felt an incomparable pleasure. This was the first time she had sucked human blood, because in the lycan world they only drank animal blood. Her body, which had initially felt weak and helpless, now began to feel energetic and fresh even though she had only sucked a small amount of blood. She released her suction and moved Sofia's hand away from her mouth. "I'm sorry if that hurt you. I only meant to help you," she said.
Sofia looked at her index finger. The blood that had initially come out quite a lot was now gone. "Okay, no problem. But your suction is so strong, it feels like my index finger is going to break," she said while continuing to look at her index finger.
"I apologize. It really has to be sucked hard so that the blood doesn't keep coming out," said Alessia, which was quite reasonable.
"Okay." Sofia continued her cooking activities. She was too difficult to just say thank you.
Alessia smiled thinly. She felt relieved because she could finally taste fresh blood. "Amazing! This is the first time I've tasted fresh human blood. It's so delicious. It only takes a little bit to have such an effect on my body," she thought to herself as she wiped her mouth with her hand.

Now she was standing on her bedroom balcony while looking at the surrounding scenery. "There's no way I'm going to suck Sofia's blood again. She could die if I do it too often," she muttered.
Suddenly, she felt an excruciating pain in her left wrist. Unexpectedly, black muscels appeared on her wrist and spread to her arm. "What is this?" she said while enduring the pain and heat in her hand. She immediately ran to the sink and poured water on her hand. Gradually the pain began to disappear, and the black muscles disappeared.
"What's wrong with my body? Is this the effect of human blood?” Alessia felt strange because this was the first time she had experienced something like that. After that, she turned off the tap and looked in the mirror. Her eyes immediately opened wide when she saw a purple spot on her neck. “Since when did this appear?” Her hand rubbed the spot, but it wouldn’t go away.
