Bring Her Back
Bring Her Back
Alexandra, who saw her, immediately smiled. “Hi, thank you for coming here.”
The five maids immediately laughed. They looked like they were underestimating Alexandra. “Sorry. But we came here just to make sure the hall was spotless or not.”
The smile on Alexandra’s face immediately disappeared. Her facial expression changed to gloomy. “Oh, okay. No problem.” She continued her task without paying attention to the presence of other servants there.
Suddenly, one of the servants dropped a glass of blood on the already clean floor. "Oops, sorry. I didn't mean to," she said, pretending to regret it.
Alexandra then handed the servant a broom and mop. "Clean the floor! You have to take responsibility," she said firmly.
"What? You dare to order your senior?" The servant replied in disbelief.
"Of course. We are both servants here. And you are the careless one who made the mistake," Alexandra replied casually. She was not at all afraid to face the five senior servants in front of her.
"No. I don't want to." There was a heated argument between them. Alexandra was cornered and felt that her dignity was being trampled on. Without thinking twice, she slapped the face of the servant who dared to call her a cheap woman.
"Bastard! How dare you slap me?" The servant immediately pushed Alexandra with all her might, causing her to be pushed back and almost fall.
However, Alexandra's body did not fall to the floor because someone held her body. “What did you do to her?!”
A loud and emotional voice echoed in the hall. The five servants were very shocked to see who was in front of them right then. They immediately lowered their faces and saluted the king, who was staring sharply at them.
"Why are you silent? Answer my question?!" Stevan snapped angrily. Alexandra, who was still in his arms, was also scared.
"Lower your voice, King. You look very scary now," Alexandra whispered while her hand gently stroked Stevan's arm.
"Are you okay?" asked Stevan, who turned his gaze to the woman in his arms.
"Yeah, I'm okay." Alexandra freed herself from the king's embrace and immediately straightened her body. She looked at the five servants who had been rude and arrogant to her a few seconds ago, and now their faces had changed to look very sad.
Stevan approached the five servants who had dared to be rude to his woman. "Don't you have mouths? Why is it so hard to say a word?" His gaze was so sharp, as if he wanted to pounce on anyone who was in front of him right then.
"Forgive us, King. We just want to help Alexandra clean this hall,” said one of the five servants. Alexandra immediately widened her eyes, not believing her words, which were clearly just lies.
“Really? But why did you push Alexandra until she almost fell? And what is this? Why is there blood on the floor?” Stevan looked at each of the servants in front of him. He felt strange because he could not read their minds.
“I'm not lying, King. I accidentally dropped this blood, and Alexandra slipped because the floor was too slippery,” replied the maid.
“What the hell? What did you say? You didn’t do it on purpose?” Alexandra suddenly chimed in. She had no fear at all of facing the five senior servants.
The five servants lowered their faces. They hid their annoyance at Alexandra’s attitude of daring to fight back. “Is what she said true?” asked Stevan probingly.
Seeing no response, Stevan could already guess that what Alexandra said was true. “Take them all to the dungeon,” he said, looking at Morgan. The five servants were shocked to hear the king’s words. They all immediately prostrated themselves before the king.
“Forgive us, King. Please don’t punish us,” they said in unison. Their faces looked pale. They didn’t expect that dealing with Alexandra would harm them.
“There is no mercy. Wrong is wrong. I have given you all the opportunity to tell the truth, but you chose to lie.” Stevan signaled Morgan to take action immediately.
“Wait! What did the king do to the servants of palace two?” Suddenly, a voice was heard from the direction of the hall door. All eyes turned towards the source of the voice.
They were all quite shocked to see the arrival of the queen mother. “What made you come here, King?” Regina walked into the hall with her personal servant.
“I want to pick up Alexandra to return to Palace one,” Stevan answered firmly. He couldn’t wait any longer to make a decision. Alexandra’s presence in palace two made him restless, coupled with the mischief of the servants there, and it was possible that the queen mother would do the same thing.
“What do you mean, King?” Alexandra whispered near Stevan.
Regina’s expression immediately turned sour. Her plan to get rid of the fetus in Alexandra's womb still didn't work, and now the king was going to take her back. "No. I can't let this opportunity go away. It will be even harder for me if she returns to palace one," Regina thought as she thought of a way to keep Alexandra in palace two.
"Pack your things now. You have to come back to the palace with me today," Stevan said, glancing to his side.
“Why?” Alexandra asked.
Stevan brought his face close to Alexandra’s ear. “I’ve found a way for you to return to your world,” he whispered very softly. He used his power so that no one could hear his conversation.
“Really?” Alexandra shouted enthusiastically. Her eyes sparkled. The thing she had been dreaming of had finally found a way out to be achieved. Her smile grew wider when she saw Stevan nodding his head.
