Chapter 345 345. Atermiy - Revenge 2
“If a woman wants to get railed and get paid on top of that, who am I to judge?” Yuliy chuckles while looking at each one of us, but no one is laughing back.
“She was a child, and you and your two equally disturbed friends—Stanislav and Denys—took advantage of her,” I point out.
“Is that what she told you?” he asks. “I bet she told you some sob story about how her sister’s husband took advantage of her, when in reality she was the one all over him.”
“Not another word,” I warn him, “unless you are going to admit what you did to her.”
“I did nothing to her that she didn’t want or didn’t like,” he keeps lying.
“Why do we keep arguing with him?” Vasiliy inquires. “We should go ahead and kill him so we can go home.”
“Because I want him to admit the kind of monster he is,” I tell him, “so he won’t have the impression that he’s dying for nothing.”
Ander interjects, “Hearing someone confess all the ways they made someone you love suffer really makes you think of all the ways you can hurt them back. The only way to make him talk is by starting to break his bones—one by one. The toes would be a good starting point.”
I sigh. “I didn’t want to get to torture, but you leave us no choice.” To Ander, I say, “Just do me a favor and don’t let the dog eat him. The last time that happened, she was sick for a week, and I’m not going to clean her vomit from the couch this time.”
Yuily’s face turns a bit pale.
Diva lets out a menacing growl, making Ander pat her front leg, calming her down a bit. “You don’t have to eat him, but you can take as many bites out of him as you want. Make him bleed.”
She barks at that, agreeing with him, so Ander releases her from the leash, and she bolts directly for Yuily, her teeth sinking straight into his right leg, biting him so hard that he starts howling in pain.
“Get it off! Get it off!” he pleads, while trying to move away from her, but the chair barely moves from the spot.
Diva growls as she applies more pressure, her teeth sinking so deep into his flesh that they reach the bone, making him whimper in pain.
“Tell you what,” I say. “If you admit what you did to Olena, we will put Diva back on the leash.”
He pulls at his restraints as he lets out an enraged scream, which only makes Diva pull on his leg so hard that I expect her to rip it apart at any moment.
For several minutes, we just watch as Diva bites one leg, then the other, even tearing off a couple of chunks of flesh, while Yuily keeps screaming and begging us to help him. We just stare at him with wild grins on our faces, basking in his suffering.
When Diva takes a big bite of the muscle on the inside of his lower leg, he finally starts talking.
“I bought her, along with Stanislav and Denys,” he yells through his pain. “Is that what you wanted to know?”
“It’s a start,” I reply while Ander tries to pull Diva back. “Did you or did you not know she was a minor?”
“Fuck you!”
Ander stops pulling Diva away from him. “Looks like you didn’t have enough.”
Yuily starts crying. “Please, get it off. I’ll tell you everything.”
Since no one believes him, we let Diva bite him for a couple more minutes before Ander finally gets her on the leash.
“Talk, but if you start with your bullshit lies once more, we will let Diva eat your face this time,” I warn him. “Got it?”
He nods before he starts confessing all the fucked-up shit he did to Olena—some of which we knew and others we didn’t. We even take turns punching him several times because what he reveals is too much for our ears, and we need to let the anger building up inside us somehow, and what better way to do that than punching him in the stomach?
When he finishes, I’m quite pissed with myself that I stopped Diva from killing this motherfucking monster. But being eaten alive by a dog is not punishment enough. I want him to suffer for a long time before he takes his last breath.
Ander seems to read my mind because he says, “Killing him today will be an injustice.”
Nodding, I ask, “So what do you propose?”
Surprisingly, the answer comes from Vasiliy. “I know someone who could make good use of him. Reyes.” His name rings a bell, but I can’t place it right now.
Ander inhales sharply before his shoulders relax. “I agree.”
Vasiliy steps away to make a phone call while I ask Yuily, “What about Stanislav and Denys? Are they in Veross City as well?”
“No. Stanislav died several years ago of an overdose, while Denys is behind bars for life for murder.”
I hate that I can’t make Stanislav pay, but something tells me that he lived a pretty miserable life. And there’s still Denys to be dealt with.
“Which prison?” I inquire.
“A maximum-security one in Sibaria called Polar Wolf Prison.”
I smile at that because that prison is fucking ruthless. “Good. I’m sure his life is hell, but I’ll make sure it will be even worse.”
“There was another man with him in the car,” Ander lets me know. “He was no one of importance, so I already killed him.”
When I give him a questioning look, he shrugs, “He was a liability, so I got rid of him.”
“Make sure no one finds the body.”
The right corner of his mouth lifts up. “Trust me, no one will ever find him. Not even his bones.”
I blink. “Did you pour acid all over him?”
“Nah, I took him to the Catacombs.”
A shiver runs along my spine. Ander is right–no one will ever find him there.
A moment later, Vasiliy returns to us. “Alekos and Reyes are on their way.”
The moment Vasiliy mentions Alekos, I remember where I know Reyes from—his blood-brothers and I were once part of the same mission.
While we wait for those two Lords to show up, I make sure Yuily doesn’t bleed to death. All his pleas to kill him fall on deaf ears. Eventually, he stops talking and remains silent until Alekos and Reyes show up about an hour later.
The moment Reyes sees Ander, his eyebrows shoot up.
“Hello, son,” Ander tells Reyes.
Sorry for the delay - I have some medical stuff I need to take care of for my kids, and it threw me off my pace, but I'm trying to find a rhythm so I can return to updating regularly.
Another thing - next chapter will be Ander's POV :) Those who have been following this series from the beginning might have been wondering if Ander and Reyes will ever make peace, and the answer is coming tomorrow.
