Chapter 16.2
"You are making tremendous progress Miss Powell. Soon you will be fit for a marathon."
"I dont need to run a marathon. I just need to get through with one day," she snapped fustrated with her leg.
"We will get there, only one week to go before the big day. Hang in there."

The wedding day
Waking up in her old room at her parents house to Natasha's scream was the last thing she expected.
"Tash, I know you are excited but please," Jo cried out covering her ears.
With Tash and her mothers help she got ready to leave for the cathedral. Being the only children from both families their parents had wanted a big wedding. Ethan came running into the room wearing his little tux and came to a halt looking at his mother.
"Mama, you look like a princess," he said giving her a shy smile.
"Thank you baby, and you like my little prince as always. Now you go ahead with grandma, I will see you at the church."
Arriving at the venue she held got out of the car with the help of her father.
"You look breathtaking sweetheart," he said kissing her forehead as he helped her into the church.
Michael was a ball of nerves as he patiently waited for his soon to be wife and son. Here and Now by Luther Vandross (listen to this song whilst reading) started playing having foregone the traditional wedding song. The doors swung open to reveal his son walking in bearing their wedding bands on a small pillow. He walked in with confidence looking handsome making everyone gush over him as they watched standing at attention waiting for the bride.
Michael's POV
"Sweet heavens," I heard Benjamin whisper.
Looking up I saw Natasha walking in wearing a sky blue gown. She looked lovely but no one could ever take my Jo's place, no matter how beautiful they were.
Scanning the large hall I found my good friend Greg and his wife sitting beside my parents. The room was filled to the brim with family friends, close relatives and business associates who had joined them to celebrate their union.
Tasha finally reached the alter taking her place across from us.
Turning back to the entrance I held my breath in anticipation, heart racing as if given a shot of adrenalin.
There she appeared the queen of my heart, my everything I thought with pride as I stood taller. She looked like the queen she was in her dress with her father beside her. They slowly made their way down the isle and I couldn't take my eyes off her, she held me in a trance. Halfway down the isle I saw her whisper to her father letting go if his arm. Taking a step towards her worried she would fall she surprised me by taking a few steps on her own.
"Mikey." I saw her lips move forming my name with a smile as she took each step slowly towards me. Sinking down to my feet I cried, tears of pure unadulterated joy not caring how I looked at that moment. She was my one true weakness, walking down the isle looking more lovelier than I had anticipated. Walking towards me and no one else. I never thought she would walk on her wedding day, on our wedding day.
