Chapter 100 Kidnapped By Frank

Chapter 100 Kidnapped By Frank
DEAN

Nadia hung up on me, causing the fear inside me to mix with the anger I feel because she's so stubborn.

Damn it. - I cursed, getting up from my chair.

Why on earth does she have to be so ignorant?

Especially now that that bastard is on the loose, waiting for the right moment to hurt her again.

Rosalie! - I exclaimed as I ran down the hallway of my company.

"Mr. Hartford?" she called, trying to keep up with me in her high heels.

"I need to sort something out and I don't know if I'll be back in time, so cancel all the meetings I have for today," I said, stepping into the elevator.

"Yes, sir," Roselie said without getting into the elevator.

"Anything else?"

"No," I replied, letting the elevator doors close.

When the elevator opened in the lobby of the company building, I ran out and got into my Mercedes as fast as I could.

"She must be okay," I murmured as I drove through the streets of New York.

"She has to be okay."

A few minutes later I arrived at her studio and saw a white police van speeding off into the heavy traffic.

I observed the speeding vehicle with a certain amount of suspicion; after all, it seemed far too suspicious for my liking, especially given the lack of stickers on it and the direction it was taking.

It was as if the driver was running away from something...

Nadia! - I exclaimed, feeling a strange sensation tightening my insides.

I hurriedly got out of the car and ran across the street, but when I stood in front of the studio's glass door, I realized it was locked.

Shit. - I cursed and walked around the studio looking for an open window.

When I found one that was only leaning against the wall, I opened it and passed through it without difficulty.

Nadia! - I exclaimed, running between the dark and empty rooms.

I kept shouting her name when I entered a random room and saw a white cloth lying on the floor inside.

So I crouched down and picked up the cloth, and as I brought it to my nose I smelled a strong odor of chloroform.

"No," I murmured, shaking my head.

"It can't be."

I pulled the cloth away from my face and closed my eyes tightly.

"Could that bastard have something to do with this?" I had barely finished asking myself when the image of the white police van came to mind.

"Oh my God!" I exclaimed, feeling tears of anger welling up in my eyes.

"He kidnapped her."

NADIA

I woke up with a severe headache mixed with unusual fatigue.

"Goodnight, Sleeping Beauty," said a voice I wish I'd never heard.

"Frank," I murmured, slowly opening my eyes, which felt like they weighed a ton.

When I finally felt them fully open, I realized I was inside a grate, or rather, a large cage.

"Are you comfortable?" he asked sarcastically.

Go to hell! - I exclaimed, coughing afterwards.

"Are you thirsty?" he asked, picking up a bucket that was near his feet.

I didn't answer and just looked away, ignoring him, but unfortunately for me, that made him furious, so much so that he threw all the water from the bucket at me.

"Feeling better?" he asked ironically, then laughed, pleased with my condition.

I was shivering and my teeth were chattering because, in addition to the low temperature of the water hitting me, a fan in the corner of the cage started blowing in my direction.

"Don't worry about the cold." He smiled wickedly.

"After all, I'll warm you up soon."

After saying those words, Frank left my field of vision, causing a feeling of terror to take over my body and mind.

What is he going to do?

I thought as I peered through the bars of the cage, noticing that I was in some abandoned shed, because in addition to the deplorable state of the place, one could also see the dust accumulated on the worn furniture.

Perhaps this is where Frank has been hiding all this time.

Just thinking that he's never been to Spain makes me wonder if he was the one who tried to kill me in that sauna.

"That bastard," I muttered, clenching my hands into fists.

"You almost killed me."

"No, dear, it wasn't him," said a very familiar female voice.

"It was me."

I looked up at my would-be killer, and what I saw shocked me.

It was Alice.

"You," I murmured, looking at the woman who, just a few hours ago, had called herself my secretary.

"Yes, me." She spread her red lips into a mocking smile.

"I was the one who almost killed you, and I must say that your survival has infuriated me."

Like this?

"Why did you do that?" I asked, still incredulous at her confession.

"Because I hate you!" she exclaimed nervously.

"I hate your manner, your appearance, your luck, I hate everything about you."

"And what did I do to make you hate me?" I asked, wanting to understand this madness.

"You were born, simple as that," she replied ironically.

"But what motivated me to want to kill you was seeing how much Frank loves you and how much you snubbed him, throwing him away like a disposable object."

I looked at her, confused by her nonsensical arguments.

So, what does she have to do with him?

"I love him," Alice said, answering my unspoken question.

"I love him with all my heart."

"And where do I fit into this story?" I asked, feeling the urge to punch her in the face.

"You're the obstacle in our path." She glared at me with hatred.

"And Frank said the only way he'll love me is if I let him destroy you."

"Finish me off?" I murmured aloud.

"Yes." She smiled.

"You'll soon understand what I'm talking about."

"Just so you know, you won't get away with this so easily!" I exclaimed, feeling an unusual rage.

"That's what we'll see." She smiled smugly and then left.

I closed my eyes, counting the seconds until I could get out of here.

Maybe it was all in my head, but for some reason, I knew this wouldn't be the end for me.

(...)

Hours passed and neither Frank nor Alice showed up.

It's not like I was anxiously waiting for them, but rather because I knew that the longer they took, the worse it would be.

I closed my eyes and huddled in the corner of the cage, trying to escape some of the torturous cold that permeated my body.

Cough, cough...! - I coughed hard.

"Are you cold?" Frank asked, appearing suddenly.

"It's none of your business," I replied, coughing again.

"Very much so." He smiled with ulterior motives.

I looked up and saw that he had taken a bunch of keys out of his pocket, and that he was now trying to fit one of them into the padlock that locked the cage.

"No!" I exclaimed, sitting up.

"You can't come in here!"

He looked me up and down and smiled mischievously.

"Of course I can." He unlocked the padlock and opened the gate.

"And I will."

I crawled to the corner of the cage and began feeling around in the dirt, searching for something I could use against him.

"You look so sexy when you're wet." He moved closer to me, devouring me with his eyes.

"Don't come any closer!" I exclaimed, continuing to grab something desperately from the ground.

"Calm down, my light." He moved even closer.

"I won't do anything you don't want."

As if that were true.

"I told you not to come any closer!" I yelled, feeling a sharp rock half-buried in the ground.

"Be a good girl." He crouched down in front of me.

"Otherwise, I'll be forced to hurt you."

"You're going to hurt me either way," I said, trying to dig up the rock without him noticing.

"That's true." He smiled slightly and held my wrist.

"But for now, I want to give you pleasure."

And then before I could react in any way, he pressed me against the dirty floor and climbed on top of me, where he held one of my wrists while trying to kiss me.

"No!" I exclaimed, shaking my head from side to side.

"Be quiet!" Frank shouted impatiently.

"No!" I yelled, trying to pull the stone away.

"Let go of me!"

I tried to keep shaking my head, but he grabbed my chin, forcing it to stay still, and kissed me forcefully.

"Hum!" I murmured, struggling beneath him, and when he tried to put his tongue inside my mouth, I bit it hard.

"You bitch!" Frank exclaimed, slapping me across the face.

I felt my cheek throb, and I pulled the stone harder.

"I'm going to teach you to be quiet," he said, unbuttoning his jeans.

"I'm not going to be nice, after all, you like brutality, don't you?"

My eyes widened as I realized his true intentions.

Does he want to rape me?

"No!" I yelled, pulling the rock away again.

"Let go of me, you bastard!"

And as soon as I felt the stone was loose, I picked it up from the ground and hit Frank on the head with it.

He was startled by the impact and fell to the side, giving me time to get up and run out of the cage.

"Help!" I yelled, running through the shed.

"Someone help me!"

I kept running without looking back, when I felt someone wrap their hands around my waist.

Ahhh! - I yelled, kicking all over the place.

Shut up, you bitch! - Frank knocked me to the ground and started kicking me.

"No!" I screamed, placing my hand on my stomach.

"Not my baby!"

"Your baby?" Jack seemed surprised.

"You're pregnant by that bastard?"

My eyes widened as I realized I had revealed my weakness to the enemy, and I immediately curled up in a fetal position.

"Don't hurt my baby," I said between sobs.

"You can do whatever you want to me, but don't hurt my child!"

I noticed he was silent, and I took the opportunity to continue pleading for mercy.

"Please!" I exclaimed, clutching my still-flat stomach.

"Not my child!"

And before I knew it, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach, and when I opened my eyes I saw that he had kicked me in the stomach.

"Don't hurt your baby?!" Frank shouted furiously.

"Is this some kind of joke?"

I was about to deny it, when he kicked me in the stomach again.

"No!" I screamed in pain, shrinking even further.

"Please don't do this!"

He kept kicking me and I turned around trying to protect the baby inside my belly, but I could already feel my body weighing me down with exhaustion.

Please don't... - I said, still protecting my belly with my hands.

"That baby has to die!" he yelled, ready to give me another kick.

I closed my eyes, curling up even more to protect my belly, hoping that kick would be directed elsewhere, but what happened next revived my hope.

"Nadia!" shouted the man I love most in this world.

Dean...
