21: Hubby

I went to the gym because I thought Jacob was busy so he might come home late again. But when I got home, I found him waiting for me in the living room.

"Hi, have you been home yet?" I asked him. He seems impatient. It means he is waiting for me.

"Yes. I thought you would come home early."

"Because I just came from the gym."

"Where do you go to the gym?"

"At the mall."

"We have a gym here." What does he mean? Does he forbid me to go to the gym outside?

"I'm with Awi, you're one of my employees so..."

"Woman?"

"Yes, girl. Why?" Why did he ask so many questions?

He just stared at me for a few seconds. I was so excited that I just looked away.

"I'm jealous," he said to my shock.

"What? Please repeat?" I think I heard wrong.

He frowned before speaking again. "I'm jealous."

I laughed. I feel like I'm going to melt. The joy I feel right now is legit.

"Why are you jealous? You have nothing to be jealous of."

"Maybe later someone will like you there."

"Nothing. Then I'm just yours."

"Don't go to the gym there. Just stay here. Just send Awi here too."

"S-Alright. If that's what you want." He just smiled there.

"I'll go to the gym with you every weekend."

"That's great." I'm excited.

"I have an appointment at the clinic every weekend. The procedure takes about three to four hours."

"Okay. Just go home now."

"Yes, I'll be home soon."

My heart is so happy. I couldn't lose my smile even when we were eating. Then we slept next to each other again.

"Would you like me to just move into your room?" I asked him. It would have been better if we had stayed in the same room, not like this where he would shower and get dressed and then sleep here.

"I'll just move my things here."

"Why don't you want to be there?"

"Balcony view is better here."

There is no good view, e. But okay, let it be. At least we will sleep aside from now on.

I was clinging to him because it was embarrassing to lean on his arm or chest because he might still lay down. I'm still heavy even though I've lost a few pounds.

"Good night, hubby." I closed my eyes.

"Shall we sleep?"

"Huh? It's late, so let's go to bed."

"Don't you want..." His hand crawled on my chest.

I took a deep breath and the sleepiness I felt gradually disappeared.

I felt a heat and that heat was slowly flaring up.

We had just finished when I heard Cora's voice outside my bedroom door. What is she doing here at this hour?

It seems that Jacob had a bad trip when it arrived because he was planning to leave.

I put on a robe before I opened the door for Cora.

"Why are you here? It's late, ah."

"I have a problem, so... Can I sleep here?"

"You can. Jacob and I are next to each other. Just go to the guest room. Manang has fixed the bathroom there."

He frowned. It's a case of trouble for me to send Jacob away. I'm already married. I love Cora but of course the situation is different now that I'm married.

I just took him to the guest room. I was sleepy but I still listened to his rants. He said he and his mother had a fight again.

"Your Mom is old. You shouldn't be giving her headaches anymore." Will he listen to what I say? I don't know what to do with him.

"Alright, I'm really sleepy, Cora. ​​Goodnight."

My body is still very tired. I feel that it will be difficult for me to get up again tomorrow. If only I had known that Jacob would be coming home early, I wish I would have been slower at working out earlier.

Jacob was already asleep when I returned to the room. He also looks tired. I watched him for a few minutes before I fell asleep.

When I woke up the next morning, Jacob had already left. He ordered flowers for me again. He said he had an emergency meeting so he had to leave early.

Cora just woke up when I left the room, I went downstairs with her.

"I have to go in. Manang, you take care of my friend first." I'm also in a hurry because I have a meeting with eleven, I'll prepare at the office.

I'm a bit haggard today. There are a lot of emails that need to be answered.

It was four o'clock when I finished signing the papers.

"Just tomorrow, Awi..." I couldn't take my tiredness anymore. I feel pale too.

"Alright. Just rest first. We'll just go to the gym with you next week." I mentioned to him about the gym, and he agreed, because we have a lot to do this week so it's just next week.

My eyes were closed when I got home.

"Manang, is Cora still here?"

"Your husband is here too."

"Ah, really? Where is he?"

"Maybe he's in the study room. He has some documents with him, eh."

I went to his study room first. I knocked before I turned it.

His study is extensive so I have to go in to see him. My husband looks very tired. His hair was a mess and the four buttons of his polo shirt were undone.

"Hi, hubby. Come home early too."

"Ah, yup. There are papers left here that I need." He was a little out of breath.

"Are you alright?"

"Yup? My body and head just hurt."

"Why did you come home so early?"

"I do not feel good."

"Get some rest. It's almost over, I'll follow you."

"Alright, hubby." I don't want to bother him anymore, so he can finish what he's doing right away.

I'll take a nap first, later I'll check on Cora to see what happened to her. I might get sick if I can't rest it right away.

I got dressed and immediately went to bed. I fell asleep a few minutes later when I felt Jacob. I can smell his shower gel, he looks like he just took a shower.
