ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY SEVEN

Rebecca's POV

I witnessed something I've never seen before, I saw my queen go in trance from just touching the record. Though the old lady did something that may have taken her into that trance.

Dianna's eyes became pure white while her skin became pale, she was unconscious and couldn't move while her white eyes kept staring at nothingness. I was so afraid that something bad might have happened to her so I rushed to her to wake her up, but the old lady immediately stopped me from touching with her long walking staff.

"If you disturb her something will go wrong. There are informations she might never get again, she may even be lost in her unconsciousness and may not awake again. So, let her be." The old lady instructed.

But I couldn't let my queen be in such a terrible state, I'm having this feeling she may never wake from it again.

"Don't worry child. I know when things will be to go wrong. And I'll revive her when it does. But if you touch her, I will not be able to do anything again if anything goes wrong. Believe me, she will surely be fine." The old lady explained.

All I've to do now is obey the lady and watch as unfold. My queen's life is now in the hands of someone who has deep hated for her husband, my queens enemy by default. But I don't know how these things work so I just have to believe the old lady.

Moments later, without the old lady doing anything, my queen got back to reality. Her eyes turned normal again. But the expression on her face this time we different, she had this very determined and yet enraged look on her face. There must have been something she just found out from the book that might help her. So I rushed to her to ascertain what it could be.

"My queen what is it? What did you find out? Tell me everything?" I asked her so curious as I got to her her.

"No no, my child and my queen. You shall not reveal those information to anybody, not even to your best friend or husband. Absolutely nobody should know about it." The old lady said.

"I was also told the same thing at the other realm." Dianna said.

"I'm sorry Rebecca, I can't reveal any of things I just found out. It's to be kept secret till I die, that's the only way to keep the enemies out of my plans." Dianna explained to me.

"Okay my queen. I just want to know if all is well, and okay with only that information." I said to Dianna in disappointment.

"Of course, I'm fine. Never been better." She replied.

"Talking about your enemies, what's this enemy after you and the royal family?" The old lady said walking closer to Dianna.

"It's your most respected and valued alpha. The former alpha alpha Luggard. He has struck a very deadly deal with the devil, and he's going to destroy this world if I and alpha Neil don't stop him." Dianna replied the old still looking a little enraged.

"I know you're going to still support him because my husband stole this throne. But we don't care, I and my husband and his men and women of goodwill will stop alpha Luggard no matter what's going to cost us." Dianna said to the old lady.

"You're right my child. My loyalty will always be with alpha Luggard because he family is blessed to rule this world. He's the true alpha over this universe, and no other, not even your husband Neil can replace him." The old lady explained.

"We'll..." Dianna was interrupted by the old lady before she could finish her words.

"But!... I don't stand for evil. If alpha Luggard have taken the path of evil to reclaim his throne, then I'm not a party to that. I can only support you to defeat him, but my loyalty still lies with the real royal family. I can only support you to defeat the evil, that's all I can do." The old lady said.

"Lady Mona, I promise you. If you'd help us defeat alpha Luggard, I promise to use my influence on my husband to bring back your kind from any realm they were banished to. I promise you give you all that you want, just support I and my husband and I'll do anything that you want." Dianna pleaded with the old lady as her angry all disappeared.

"You're different Dianna. Your husband have come here with the same promise all for me to be on his side but I couldn't believe, he was too cunning and pretentious. But I can see you've a clean heart, a heart of gold and that's why the heavens decided to bless you with the god-star powers. My own is, keep to your promises when the time comes." The old lady said.

"Of course, of course I'll. I'll do anything that you do desire of me. Thank you so much lady Mona, thank you." Dianna replied with so much joy in her face. She turned to me and smiled and I also reciprocated the smile.

"I think we're done here, you can leave now I've other things to do." The old lady said as she indirectly to us our time is over there.

"Oh yeah we're done. We'll be on our way now." Dianna said as we both made our ways back to out of the archive.

"Remember not to tell anyone what you saw or heard from the record!" The old lady shouted at us as we are almost at the door.

"Of course I'll remember that!" Dianna shouted as well to reply the old lady.

We opened the door and went out. We met those scary looking guards again, I felt like hitting one of them so hard but I just can't, I might be six feet below if I try that.

"The seals?" Dianna asked the guards.

"Sorry, we can't return them to you. Once the archive doors are open with the seals, the seals magically returns to alpha Neil. So it's no longer with us." One of the guards explained to us.

"Why so secretive and protective, not like anyone is going to steal anything from here, not with you guys around. What's with the magic now? Huh! It's tiring already." I replied the guards.

"I'm sorry, it's been like this way before alpha Neil became alpha over this universe." The guard explained again.

"Well, I understand. With what I got from that record. That information shouldn't be with any ordinary wolf. Let's go Rebecca." Dianna explained to me as she dragged me to walk out with her.

"Was that information too serious?" I asked her as we made our way back to her chambers.

"It's more serious, deadly and powerful at the same time. Shouldn't be in the hands of any ordinary wolf. And I feel more powerful informations like that may be on those shelves." She explained to me.

"Okay, okay... But the old lady, how does she go out. Or is she imprisoned there for life?" I asked Dianna.

"Good question... But definitely for the wrong person." Dianna replied.

"What do you mean?" I asked her.

"For crying out loud, you know the archive thingy more than I do." She said looking a little frustrated at me in a funny way.

"I've been here not more than a year, how do you want me to know that." She whispered to me.

"Sorry, I thought your husband may have told you everything." I said.

She nodded in disappointment and we both left to her chambers.
