ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY SIX

Dianna's POV

As we got there, we met two guards standing at the giant door of the archive. They had a mask on and swords. I've not seen swordmen in this world before, I thought they only rely on their wolf powers and magical powers.

"Why are they with swords?" I whispered to Rebecca.

"To chop off your sexy body." She whispered back and smiled. She has been joking way too much and that's why I like her.

"They have the swords to quickly kill defaulters. Turning to their wolf form will take a long time tackling the offender. And also there would so much ruckus which is not good for some of the magical items kept in here." She explained.

"So how do meet them?" I asked her again in whispers.

"For crying out loud you're the queen. You shouldn't be asking me that, you're going first." She replied me in whispers.

"This men don't look like they know me as the queen. I might even be a cook or a thief to them." I continued in whispers.

"Can you hear yourself right now. Who doesn't know you as the queen." She chuckled and replied in whispers.

"Hey you two? What are you doing here?! Leave this moment is you've no business here!" One of the guards spoke out loud.

Immediately he spoke we were both startled. And also surprised that they could talk to us in such manner, the fact that I'm the queen, they didn't even talk with respect towards me.

"I told you, I told you! They see us both at thieves or maybe worse." I said to Rebecca trembling in fear.

"I'm shocked, I'm so shocked! I can't believe my ears." Rebecca said as her eyes became so big as she trembled in fear.

One of the guards began to find closer to us we he drew out his long, very sharp, and shining swords. He pointed it towards us as he came closer to us.

"God damnit! My queen show them the seal. You have it for crying out loud!" Rebecca screamed out in fear.

I immediately brought out the seals but they fell to the ground because my hands were shaking terribly. But before I could reach it the guard with the brandished sword already picked it up.

"Okay you're safe. Come on in queen Dianna." The guards said while putting the sword back into its sheath.

"So you knew she was the queen all the while. Yet you brought out your sword on us?!" Rebecca asked out of anger.

"We're doing our jobs my lady. We've fakes and disguises come here everytime, so don't get angry at us, we were just making sure. Now I've confirmed this is truly from alpha Neil." He explained.

It was very funny seeing Rebecca switch from being scared to death to being angry as though she wanted to fight the guard. As I thought about that I began to laugh.

"Why are you laughing my queen? Is this a joke to you? This man nearly killed because of his useless reason." Rebecca said still in anger.

"Not that... Just that... How you switched from almost dying from fear to looking like you want to beat him up. It's too funny to see." I replied as I continued laughing.

"C'mon, I was so scared. But realizing he knows us just pissed me off." She continued but a little angry.

"Well I know the queen, not you." The guard with our seals said to her.

Rebecca got angry again and tried to fight the sturdy man but went back finding out that she can't beat him. This even made me laugh even the more.

"Okay, laugh all you want. When are we going in." Rebecca looking rather embarrassed of herself.

"Are these two seals for both of you?" The guard asked.

"Yes they are." I answered trying to recover from my hard laugh.

"So, this is how it's done. I'll open the door with one of the seals one person enters and it closes. Then I'll open it for the second time with the second seal for the other person to enter. You're with two seals doesn't give you both the right to enter at one opening, is that clearly understood?." He instructed and we both nodded in agreement.

So he went to the door we followed, but was immediately stopped by the other guards as he drew out his sword and swung it right in front of us to stop our movements.

"The swords!" Rebecca shouted out in fear and anger at the same time with her eyes ever bulgy. I couldn't help but laugh again.

"Can you please stop laughing?! there is a sword very close to my throat right now!" Rebecca said, and couldn't help but you burst into more laughter with the way she said that.

The other guard opened the door and requested that I come in. I went in, my eyes met something like an old bookstore. I could see books with ancient hard book covers and locks on them. Surprisingly some of the books were glowing, different colours from the other.

Moments later, Rebecca made her way in.

"Why were that scaredm You've fought so many battles to be that scared of a sword." I asked as I smiled a bit.

"Don't you know? That ain't any ordinary sword. They've been plated with wolfsbane. That's a poison that can kill werewolves in seconds. So once stabbed, you're dead straight up." She explained.

Well, that's a logical reason to be so afraid, but it was so funny to watch.

"Young ladies..." An old shaky feminine voice spoke. And immediately we got startled again on seeing an old woman standing before us.

"No need to be afraid, I'm the archive's attendant. So what are you here for?" She explained.

"Oh my god! I shouldn't have been here with you. Too many shocks for one day." Rebecca said. I giggled a bit as she said that.

"Why are you always laughing?" Rebecca said as she almost laughed herself.

"It's nothing... I'm not, I promise." I replied trying so hard to conceal the laugh. Then I immediately turned to the old lady.

"Do you have any books... Or rather, records and discoveries on god-star powers?" I asked the old lady as I moved closer to her.

"What you seek is one of the most hidden books of this archive. Because it contains so much mystical powers. It also holds information that's been classified, we don't give out that information to just anyone." She said as she slowly walked away with the aid of her walking stick that's taller than her. I followed her to explain why I needed those records badly.

"Ma'am, I'm... I need..." I couldn't even let it out of my mouth that I'm with the god-star powers and I need it to get informations on how to use it. But I swear even interrupted by her.

"Even alpha Neil has no rights to that record. He has tried a lot of times to make me give him but I can't and I won't release it to him. Because he has no business with that, and he ain't royalty. Only the rightful alpha which is alpha Luggard has a right to those informations." She further explained as she came to a halt at one is the record shelves.

"Ma'am, I understand. But I need..." I tried to tell her the truth this time but she interrupted me again, it was getting frustrating.

"I know why you want it." She said looking sternly into my eyes.

"Ma'am please help us, if you say you already know why we're here, she's..." Rebecca stepped in to plea but was also rudely interrupted by the old lady.

"I'm Mona, the oldest and only living banshee-wolf of this world. I know all and I see all, I'll put in this archive by alpha Luggard's great, great-grand-father. But your husband most my people and banished most of them into another realm. I naturally shouldn't help you with what you want." She explained.

"Ma'am..." I tried to apologize on alpha Neil's behalf but was rudely interrupted.

"But..." The old lady said as she brought out a big book or rather a record as they call it.

"Like I said, I know all, and I know you're blessed with the god-star powers but can't use it yet. Sadly, only you and alpha Luggard have a right to this record. It hurts me to give you this, but I'm bound by a sacred order to always release records to those who have a right to it. That's why I'm giving you the record on the god-star powers." She said while giving me the big old book.

"It contains all you need to know about the god-star abilities, your ancestors that possessed it before you. It's weaknesses and strengths. And every other thing you need to know about it." She explained.

I was speechless at this point. I opened the record but nothing was written on it, I got confused.

"How do I get any information from an empty book?" I asked the old lady.

"Sit, close your eyes, place your hands on the opened record, and leave the rest to me." The old lady commanded.

Immediately, I placed the book on a table close by, Rebecca helped to bring a seat close to me which I sat on afterwards. I placed my hands on the book and closed my eyes as commanded by the old lady.

And immediately, I saw myself floating in and unknown place, I could see men and women all floating and staring at me, by each of their sides was a white-silvery wolf standing close. Those wolves all looked alike, and they looked like my wolf form too.

I could immediately tell they were once god-star powers holders like me.

"Dianna!..." They all called out to me in unison with cool angelic voices. And when I counted they were about ten of them.
