ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY SEVEN

**Anne's POV

Thank god we survived that chaos and terror. What was that? Silva managed to escape when the royal family were having their little reunion. And as soon as he got to us, we quickly helped him by following another route out of the woods.

"Anne! I thought you said Dianna couldn't transform to her wolf form. What happened there?" My brother asked. But I was also as confused as my brother.

"I don't know! Silva also said the same too. I'm as surprised as you too! I don't really know what happened over there." I explained my confusion too.

"Silva! Tell me you have an idea what happened there? Because you don't understand how our beautifully mapped out plan was just for it to be ruined by the same person that was supposed to be our main target." My brother asked Silva, looking so restless. Silva was just sitting and writhing in pain.

"I don't know either. But what I can say is, Dianna is no ordinary wolf. Her powers are that of an alpha, but I looked into her eyes and she was not even an alpha. Maybe there is something Neil saw in her that's why he married her." Silva explains, still groaning in pain.

I immediately went to get herbs and done wet clean clothes while my brother was trying to kill him with questions.

"So what are going to do about Dianna now?" She kept on asking not even considering this man needs urgent medical attention. But Silva didn't even answer, silence was the best answer for him. And also I don't think Silva could come up with all answers for that now.

"Gimme that!" My brother immediately took everything from me and started tending to Silva herself. I've always known something immoral has been going on between these two. God shouldn't let me catch them one day because that will be so disgusting for me to see.

I also need to have a taste of him too, it's been a long time since I had sex and it's looking like Neil will not be looking my way soon. So while I wait for Neil, I think I'll just place my mark on Silva for now.

Oh gosh! Why I'm I thinking of this now? This isn't the time to be thinking dirty. I just sat there looking at my brother treating Silvia wounds.

"How bad are your injuries and pain?" My brother asked him.

"So bad, I thought I would die there. Thank god there was a window for me to escape. And thanks to both of you for helping me escape." Silva said and also appreciated us.

"You said something there about Neil being an ordinary alpha wolf. Do you mean, in a one versus one battle, you stand a chance against him?" My brother asked him. Though I like Silva, I didn't like where this conversation was going.

"Of course, didn't you see things yourself? I bet you, if that was Alpha Luggard he would have won single handedly. Neil just cheated his way to the throne." Silva replied. And yeah, he made reference to that. I wanted to ask him how sure he was about that. But my brother was faster.

"That's definitely a lie. From all the stories we've heard so far, Neil won him fair and square." My brother replied. And for once our thoughts aligned.

"Don't worry with time. You all will know the truth." Silva replied.

"Speaking of Neil. Your men wanted to kill him earlier if not for the help of Dianna. Was that also part of the plan?" I asked as I remembered that annoying brotherent. I really wanted to go down and fight for Neil before Dianna turned her wolf form and protected Neil.

"He stood in our way. That wasn't intentional, but that would've been fun to watch tho." He said as he smirked wickedly.

"Stop that! Neil is mine and I'll protect him with all I've got. So next time, you and your men should get your hands on him!" I ordered him, but he looked like he wasn't going to respect my orders.

"Anne, you're too beautiful to be all over a man that doesn't want you. Neil is a lost case, you can do better. I mean there are a lot of men willing to kill for you, so stop stressing your heart for a man who doesn't clearly want you." He said looking into my eyes lustfully.

"Stand up! You need some rest, you'll rest in my room until you're a little better to go and receive better treatment." My brother ordered him, seeing the lustful gaze he gave to me. She just acted out of jealousy.

They both went inside. I contemplated what he just told me. I know he was trying to hit on me indirectly so it won't get obvious to my brother. But he completely told the truth. Neil is not someone I should be killing myself for, I know for fact that he also goes around sleeping around other women, maybe that's why he hasn't been paying attention to me.

I need a man that would love me and only me. But I can't get the thoughts of having Neil to myself out of my head. Being with him means I've the world to myself. What other feeling could surpass that.

Silva will only be just a sex tool. But my goal will be Neil and I'll do anything in my power to him.

I went out immediately to clear my head. I headed to a bar close, where I used to have a lot of wine to drink and party.

The thoughts of Neil finally ending up with Dianna couldn't leave my head. I would have considered leaving him to another. But since my useless rival is with him, it's so frustrating. I didn't even know what Neil saw in her when he married her. I met him first and yet he married her.

As I started getting intoxicated with the wine, I was getting more frustrated thinking of the fact that now, she has regained her powers. And going by what Silva had said earlier, it will become hard to kill her now.

But something struck me as I got more intoxicated. Silva said Neil is just an ordinary alpha werewolf like him, and he could defeat Neil. And I think he likes me, in fact I can make him like me. I think I can propose a deal for Silva.

If he can kill Neil and ascend the throne, then I'll be all his. Anything that can Dianna fall under me I must do. Really intoxication makes you wiser. I said to myself as I continued drinking my wine.
