CHAPTER ONE – The sleepover

“Max get down here now” Mrs. ben shouted out loud

“Ugh… this house is frustrating” max said to his younger brother with a frown on his face

“You’re lucky it’s mom sending you around, it’s dad for me, and I’m helping him in the lab” tom replied.

“Let’s go to the chicken store downtown to have our lunch” max said to his younger brother as they walked out of the house and took a stroll downtown.

“Ah that was yummy, so delicious” tom said to max,

Max replied him with a smile on his face,

“Max how about we go to Dave’s sleepover” tom said

“I was just about to say that” max replied.

So the two brothers agreed to attend to their childhood friend ‘Dave’s sleepover to keep far away from their parents chores. They were just getting to their stage of independence, Tom was fifteen (15) years old, and Max was (16) sixteen years old. The birth of these two boys was completely extraordinary, they were meant to be born as twins but strangely when their mother ‘Mrs. ben’ wanted to give birth to them, max came but tom didn’t, He came a year after on the same month and same day max was given birth to. Their birth and DNA was unique but this was kept as a secret with their mother, their father ‘Mr. Ben’ and the doctor ‘ray’.

The boys had successfully been able to attend to their friend sleepover.

“Hey max, what’s up” max said to Dave as him and tom slowly approach Dave.

“Bad news and Good news” Dave said to the two (2) brothers,

“What happened” tom said to Dave,

“About the sleep over has been canceled, sorry it’s not going to take place at my house, I’m grounded” Dave replied,

The two brothers then let out a sigh and decided to go back home

“Hey wait up guys” Dave said as the two brothers stopped walking,

“What” the two brothers replied,

“Wait up guys, you guys didn’t hear the good news, A new sleep over is going to take place at chuck’s (the two brother’s classmate) house and guess what”

“What” the two brothers replied with a smile on their faces,

“It’s a day sleep over, plus jack’s (the three friend’s senior in school) coming with his X box console and game pads, I have the games and I’m going to bring my router”

“yes” the two brother’s replied with a smile on their faces as they hugged each other “we can’t wait for it, we are going to bring the food supplies” the brothers said to Dave as they go their place, to separate each other home.

“Why are you coming home late?” Mr. ben said to tom and max as they slowly sneak inside their sitting room to get to their room

“Nowhere, we just visited our friend” the two brothers said

“And you are coming home this late?” Mrs. Ben replied

“Well we have something very important to do so we will be going to our room” Max replied as him and ben quickly approach the stairs to get to their room,

“Come back here Thomas and Maximus, you are grounded for violating the house rules” Mr. Ben replied as the two brothers enter their room and quietly close the door.

“Hey, when is the resumption of our school” Max said to tom

“I don’t know I really can’t remember” Tom replied

“Hey you checked it last week, how can your memory be this short-termed” Max replied

“How about we play minecraft together” tom said to max

“No, you’re too easy on the game you can’t even last a night plus you won’t even let me kill you and if I do you’ll quit the server” Max replied

“I’m not easy on the game it’s just that mom and dad keep sending us on errands and you don’t tell me anytime you approach my avatar” Tom replied

“Well I’m hungry” max muttered

“Me too” tom replied

“How about we go and get some food” max said

“Yeah but won’t mum and dad be very angry about it” tom replied as he looked anxious and a bit scared

“Don’t worry about that we will use the window” max replied with a smirk on his face

“Okay, let’s do this” tom replied as the two brother’s quickly use their room window to get out of the house

“Finally we are almost there” tom said as him and max quickly approach the store

“Okay, we are here, you get the chips and I’m going to get the drinks” Max said to tom.

But before they could go their separate ways in the shop an armed robber and two of his companions bust into the store and told his companions to chase all the customers to a corner and guard them as he approaches the cashier.

“Get down, everyone get down now” The robber said as he points his gun in the air

“You there, the two boys” The robber points at max and tom and tells his companions to do it

“Okay the both of you come here” one of the men said as they took tom and max to another corner and blindfold them

“Ouch what was that, max did you feel that’’ tom said to max as he struggled with the man

“Yes, I think they injected me” max replied as he also struggles with the other man

“Okay we are done here, let’s go” The robber said as him and his companions hurriedly escape from the store

“Let’s get out of here” tom said to max as he quickly ran out of the store with max

“Wait, I need to find out what happened” max said as he dragged tom with him to a stranger

“Hey, please do you know what happened in there” tom said to a stranger as they approach a taxi and entered

“Those men, they aren’t just robbers they also took blood samples from people” the stranger said

“I’m kale an FBI inspector, here’s my id and number if anything comes up call me” kale replied

“But how come you didn’t do anything there” tom replied

“I didn’t know a robbery was going to happen, I just came to buy groceries” kale replied as they arrived at the store near the boy’s house

“Okay thanks a lot we are going to go home now” the boys said as the taxi drove off and they entered there room by using the window again, and finally slept for the day.
