Chapter 94 Confrontation
Alessia’s POV
I step into the room confidently with the bright orb of flame still hovering over my open right palm. Inwardly Fuming “ Alex ,You want trouble, I am going to give you trouble”
The temperature in the room shifts as their laughter dies down. I smirk, thinking internally Rubbish go on laughing I dare you. The woman dancing freezes mid-sway, hip frozen in place her smile slips as her eyes fills with terror as they lock onto the fire. I stare at her my eyes filling with venom and she takes a step back. I glance at The other lady who is frozen on Alex's thigh ,confusion paving the way for alarm on her face as she dashes off him quickly backing away.

I can summon fire
One wrong move and I will burn you inside out
Alex is the last to react, he sits up blinking once his gaze moving from the flame in my hand to my calm face.
“Alessia, what is that?” He asks slowly. For the first time my name sounds different on his lips, almost as if he is unsure of how I really am and what his seeing.

The dancing woman straightens, as she steps back towards the other until their back is against the stone wall. It cannot save you from my fire. They bow their heads in perfect unison.
“Princess” they murmur voice full of fear.
To me they are not even worthy of cleaning dirt under my shoes so I don't a acknowledge them. They know he is with me. The whole coven watched us go everywhere together. Ignoring their lowered heads in shame I face Alex squarely
“Enjoying ourselves are we?” I say quietly
The flame flickers as I make it bigger and brighter with just a thought. It casts eerie dancing shadows across the stone walls .Alex stands up, shoulders straight and legs spread apart
“Alessia I know this looks bad but it is not what it looks like”
I tilt my head at him “Really? Explain what it is then”
He opens his mouth like a fish out of water and closes it again. He clenched his jaw tight as we start a staring match either one of us not willing to back down.
“Princess he invited us here”one of ladies whispers softly her voice trembling “We didn't mean to disrespect you.”
I scoff then look at them as the cower against the wall “And you just couldn't pass up the chance” I reply coolly
The flame continues to float above my palm softly, not even flickering. “Wow I have held it for quite sometime and I dont know how much longer it's going to hold”
One of them gulps hard “We will show ourselves out Princess”
Cowards I watch them as the run out, You can play with fire but you dont want to get burnt?” Their , eyes are lowered to the ground as they make their way out of the room. The smell of their strong cloying fragrance still lingering even after they have gone. The door shuts softly behind them and we both settle into an uncomfortable silence. I take deep calming breaths as as I slowly pull my fire back inside my stomach, closing my fist to extinguish my flame.
Alex let's out a deep breath running his hand through his hair. He looks rattled, satisfaction fills me good. It's time he understands just who he is messing with.
“Are you supposed to be abusing your powers like that?”he asks referring to my earlier power display
I scoff “were you supposed to be playing with those witches like that?” I counter, my voice calm but dripping with disdain
How dare he try to judge me

His eyes meet mine once more and something flashed in their depths, surprise and perhaps a touch of fear.
He sighs “ Alessia, I dont actually have an explanation right now but -”
Waving my hands in the air I cut him short “ If you do not have an explanation why bother talking at all?” I fold my arms on my chest staring at him with eyes full of scorn and disgust.
Men just dont understand loyalty obviously

Alex not knowing what deep reflections I am having steps closer to me his eyes full of concern “ How was your lesson with Enya?”
I let out a dry laugh “ Oh now you remember? What an interesting question”
His gaze drops briefly to his Italian leather shoes before he glances up again. “I was waiting for you for hours”he says
I counter hands on my hips “And so you got bored and drank?”
My heart aches but I refuse to give in to the pain. Not here. Not now. There will be time to breakdown later. But not in front of him.
He shrugs his shoulders not looking very repentent at all.“Yes Alessia, I thought a few drinks wouldn't hurt”
“And played with two young sexy witches?” My fire flickers once in my belly, reminding me that it is ever ready.
To end him
His shoulders tense up “ I didn't invite them “
I scoff “ But they said they were invited by you ,If not you then who did?.”
I ask, raising my voice as the flames from the lanterns closer to us doubles in size. Alex’s gaze turns to the flame then he looks back at me eyebrows lifted in surprise.
The air in the room starts to thicken with my power as it slowly starts to unfurl from my belly again and I dont stop it.

How he protected my body only for him to know crush my heart in a million tiny pieces!!!!
Alex’s senses the change he raises his hands in surrender aa he takes a few steps back “Alessia please calm down” I ignore him, focusing entirely on my power. Perhaps another lesson is needed..
