Chapter 163 Conference Room
Alex's POV
By the time we arrive at La Concorde Alessia is still sleeping soundly on chest..
She was Miranda Gross for 18 freaking minutes !
Stupido!
How did I lose track of time like that ?
I have replayed the moment at least a half dozen times in my head .Shaking my head I slowly slide out of the chair first ,once her head is snuggled on the chair again I gingerly pick her up careful not to wake her .Stepping away from the vehicle I signal Luca forward and the bell boy .No time for unnecessary chit chat he understands and leads us towards the private entrance . Once we are all in the elevator I nudge Alessia awake . Her eyes take a moment before opening ,she looks around the lift disorientated before her eyes narrows.
"Where are we?" She asks groggily..
"At La Concorde" I tell her quietly
She nods and rests her head on my shoulder again.
The elevator comes to a quiet stop and we all head into the secured conference room .Placing Alessia who has gone back to sleep on my right I take the head chair and address the room.
"All of you need to listen carefully" I begin "We plan to enter La Geneva under Council Woman Miranda Gross's face and authority." Alessia goes in first if anything looks off on arrival ,you signal me not her."
Luca leans back in his chair folding his arms "Have you looked into the guards on rotation around the perimeter?"
"Yes they change shift after every one hour on the eastern route we enter between changes"
Lucy cuts in “Will we stay by the perimeter when she enters and wait for her to get us or?”
I turn to her “I secured a small flat close to the coven it may be a few hours before she is able to summon us ."
Angelica takes a deep breath and raises her hand I gesture at her to go ahead and speak “How will Alessia make her way around the coven?”
I give her a small smile “The western perimeter is just two doors away from Miranda's flat hence the reason we choose it." Picking up a marker I draw a circle on the map “This is the entrance and the circle I just created is the house ,her house also has direct access to the High council parliament room."
Angelica leans back clasping her hands in excitement "Padre really thought about everything didn't he ?"
I let out a dry laugh “that he did ,I did not expect it to be this thorough."
Retirning to my seat I add confidently "With what we have I don't think anything can go wrong we have made adjustments for solid contingencies plans too."
Luca leans forward on his hunches "Well there is one thing we cannot control Alex" I pause raising my brow at him as he continues “Thomas is still in the hotel what if he hears about our plans?"

My eyes darken and I clench my jaw letting out a deep breath ."He cant find out about it." I answer "We will be in and out of here like a breeze before he gets a wind of the rumour we are out."
I turn to Alessia and she is rubbing her eyes slowly
Good she is awake ,Listening,Absorbing ,Already making plans mentally.
I give everyone their task ,arrange our back up transport , pinpoint extraction points on the large map on the board , contingency routes will be through the service entrance as there are barely ever securities there . Padre did an excellent job outlining all of these all I do is indicate them.
Everyone watches me attentively. leaning back my eyes moves around the table..
Lucy looks slightly flushed can not tell if its from excitement or fear hopefully the latter not former,
Angelica leans on Lucas lacing their hands together, Lucas shoulders are straight as a rod , eyes alert he dies not miss a thing. Hugh ever observant and stock tilts his head in an angle as he watches me attebtively . To the bell boy that stands waiting conspicuously by the door. Lastly Alessia, Our wild card ,she is seated with her legs folded underneath her ,studying the small map I gave her carefully .
“Do you all understand the plan and what we have to do ?”
Everyone nods in unison but only Luca responds “Yes Alex we get it and we have been planning this for a while, we are ready." he gives me a perfunctory look and I let out a sigh of relief that I won't have to go over everything again.
In that case I turn to Alessia “Alessia you three should head up to the penthouse to rest I need to speak to Luca for a moment."
"Okay Alex" she replies quietly , her voice calm but full of strength. I pull Luca with me outside and shut the door. "Luca make sure you double check the air exit ,leave nothing to chance"
He nods "The borrowed plane has been cleared already ,it's filed under Gross name and travel code . Wheels should be up in the next three hours."

No one can trail the plane back to me or Sicily .
I clap his back briefly "Good work now let's bring La Rosa home." by the time we step back into the conference suits , Alessia and the girls have taken my suggestion and gone to rest in the pent house before we depart .Settling back in a chair I take a deep breath flexing my taut shoulder.
Luca sits beside me quietly for a few minutes then “Alex do you think she can hold it as long as she needs to get in?”
I scoff “ In the car she held it for 18 minutes -" Luca gasps in shock not allowing me to finish talking "Dios Alex why did you allow her hold it for soo long?"
I feel a hint of guilt in my chest as I face him "It honestly wasn't planned I lost track of time that's why she has been sleeping."
Leaning back in my chair I run a shaky hand through my messy hair Luca mutters under his breath "strazza that is so negligent!"
I know he his right so I ignore him truth is she seems to be getting stronger daily.If our bond continues to evolve and strength at this pace. La Geneva don't have an idea of the surprise that is coming for them …
