Chapter 135
Anna
I watched as my body guard tried to subdue the man and his men. Apparently they were a bunch of trouble makers and this wasn't the first time they'd done something like this
In fact, they were known to usually harass the strippers.
Realizing this was my opening, I found my way to the bathroom...
There couldn't possibly be any cameras around here, could there?
I took out my burner phone and called Tim, nothing
I called Azeal...
Nothing.
With a sigh, I went back to the party. I could not afford any suspicions. Every second counted.
As soon as I got tgwrez the fight has already settled and the stupid he-wolf thrown out of the club.
Troy glared at me from accross the room. He seems to have been searching for me.
I rolled my eyes.
If he was in my shoes, he wouldn't blame me. I was running out of time.
I walked towards the strippers and decided to watch them since I was stuck prisoner for now.
As I watched the women dancing in their full glory, I barely noticed someone join me.
"Didn't know you swung this way," the voice ck from the person that had just joined me.
I glanced at her and my eyes widend.
"Celia?" My eyes widened. What on earth was she doing in here?
"In the flesh," she said with a smirk.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" I whispered through my teeth, smiling and staring directly at the stage to not arouse any suspicion. It was better we weren't connected in any way.
"Azeal sent me. Old man wanted to know how you were doing ajd and wanted you to know to lay low for now."
"Yeah, no fucking kidding, I rolled my eyes. "I have two body guards watching my every move.
"Oh, not just them, honey." She said as she threw money at the strippers.
I watched her walk towards the crowd and sprayed a particularly pretty girl a wad of cash, she proceeded to dance and squeal.
It had to had been about 400 dollars in cash.
She walked back to my side, sunglasses still on her face.
"What do you mean boy just then?" I asked.
"I mean...not just them. You have eyes on your now. You better lay low or risk your head. We'll contact you soon enough."
"Is Tim okay?" I asked.
"He is," she said.
I nodded , relief flooding my chest. I watched Celia walk away towards the strippers and sprayed some money.
I sighed...
Well, he was definitely right about the laying low part but it didn't stop it frim driving me insane.
Celia slipped out of the club at some point in time but I didn't notice until I realized she wasn't around anymore.
She was good and more importantly she was nice to me today. It wasn't a common occurrence. For some reason, she usually acted cold towards me like I had stolen her man or something.
Her anger towards me mostly didn't make much sense.
Azeal always had to calm her dowiin.
I
Whatever. I didn't give a fuck i her anyway and now that I had a secret weapon, I planned on using it when I finally giet out of this hell hole of solitary confinement.
I slept the next hour, cheering the strippers on she trying to evade my body guard but failing woefully...
Another fight broke out just then and I thought about leaving to go find Tim but I knew how useless a plan that was.
I'd be found out in minutes. Regardless, I needed some fresh air, so, I proceeded to exit l, sneaking out without my body guards noticing.
When I was finally out, I took out my phone and called Tim.
He finally picked up
"Tim, hey," I whispered.
"Anna, what are you doing calling me?" He asked, a little agitated and afraid.
I didn't blame him.
"I wanted to know if you are okay,"
"I am. Now hang up. I'll contact you at the right time."
I immediately cut the call and sighed.
"Who are you talking to?" A familiar voice asked from behind. I immediately turned around to find Lily see staring at me.
"Lily?" I asked as if I had seen a ghost.
"In the flesh," she grinned, stepping into the light.
I was about to hug her but then paused in my tracks.
It wouldn't be safe to do that at all. The last time I had seen her, she'd tried to pounced on me and would have torn me apart if Estonia hadn't shown up to the rescue, I'd be dead now.
"Are you uh...okay?" I asked. I was now regretting why I had sneaked out on my body guard.
"Of course. Why wouldn't I be?" She asked, rushing in for a hug.
She hugged me tightly.
"I missed you so much, Anna,"
She said and when she didn't move to claw my eyes out, I hugged her back.
"Where have you been?" I asked.
"Oh, I've been around. Come on, let's go into the club. Any idea where Duncan is?
"He's in a small meeting right now. It's been an hour and a half though,"
"I can't wait to see him," she squealed gleefully.
"Does he know you're coming?" I asked. The last time I heard, she was in an asylum if some sort.
"Something like that. Come, tell me all that has been going on since my absence." She pulled me into the club and I saw Troy glaring daggers at me.
"I'm so happy to see you. Tell me what happened? Why were you gone so long,"
"It's kind of a long story. I needed space."
"Space? Is it because you were turning rogue?"
She paused, her eyes wide.
"What did you just say?" She asked and I smiled
"Don't worry, I know," I smirked.
"How...how did you find out?" She looked pale and surprised like I had revealed that I could read her mind.
"Long story..."
