Chapter 4

NO! NO! NO! NO WAY! Why am I so careless? The king caught me. I know he will command those alphas to look for me. But? Why would he do that? Ofcourse! To ask some questions maybe? Or I would be sentenced to death because of just wanting to watch the game.

I palm my face and sit on my bed.

Thinking about what I should do to clean this mess because absolutely the King would not let this pass.

A knock on the door caught my attention and made me lose what I'm thinking earlier.

My best friend Miya went in and posed in front of me with her hands in her waist and her face saying "I know what you did bitch" insert the left brow raising.

I let out a big deep sigh and give her a pout face saying "bitch, I'm freaking dead"

She let out a laugh and slapped my shoulder a little.

"You are a freaking mess girl. The alpha is now having a searching thingy looking for a lady with golden eyes. Definitely you. Cause you're the only person I know who has a golden eye." she said, shaking her eyebrows up and down.

"But.. What if there's another person who has a golden eye? It might save your ass. Right?" she added thinking that it would lessen my feeling of anxiousness.

"Well, that's true but he knows my scent." I said in exasperation.

Werewolves really have a strong sense of smell so he can still know that it was me when I'm near him.

"oh. You can't definitely escape a girl except if he won't include the Elder's place in his searching thingy but what if he will?" She said in suspense.

"I don't know. Help me!"I said

" Hmm" she said while she's thinking and her arms folded and her pointing and thumb finger is under her chin.

Suddenly she snapped her finger and looked at me with " I have an idea look".

" Why don't you use contact lenses? Just to hide your eyes. But anyway, we still don't have a confirmation that he will include the Elders in his searchy thingy girl.. So calm down." She said and patted my back with a convincing smile plastered on her face.

"Maybe he won't search her, I guess." I said as I am actually convincing myself.

“ That’s it girl. Let the problems fly out in your mind” She said grinning.

“ Hmm. ok. Might as well just attend this training so this problem will be out of my mind.” I said and stood up.

“ Let's go then.” Miya said in a sing-song voice as we both walked out of my room.

We went out of the house as the training ground is in the middle of the forest.

We don't use teleportation when we're just in here but we use it when it's outside.

“All of the Elders who will participate in the training kindly find your pairs because you will be having a physical combat instead of using your powers.” we heard from the training ground.

As we are at the door of the training ground. We see that most of the Elders are here.

We move to a vacant mat where we do combat so definitely me and Miya will be fighting.

It was actually normal for us to duel.

We position to our fighting stance as we wait for the go sign.

“Fight!” the trainer shouted.

Everyone began to fight, including us.

Miya tried to kick my side but I dodge it with my arms and twist it so she would fall down but she easily avoided it and moved her body the same with my twist and perfectly back in her standing stance.

We both smirked to each other as it made us more into the fight.

I was about to swing a punch on her face but I changed my stance instead and gave her a roundhouse kick. This confused her and made her not to dodge my blow. So definitely, she was kicked off out of the mat and slump on the ground with a thud.

She sat up as she groaned in pain as I actually kicked her in her stomach.

“I think my internal organ is gone.” She said as she's holding her kicked stomach.

I walk to her and lend my hand to her to get up.

“Don't be exaggerated. I'm sure it was perfectly intact.” I said as I laughed at her statement.

“But actually i didnt know you're good in combat.” she said.

“Well, I know a little but not as good as them.” I said and pointed at the two who were still fighting and already had blood in their fist.

“Well, they are boys.” She said as a matter of fact.

I nod in response.

“To those who are done with their training, you can go now. Others who aren't done, continue.” the trainer said.

As we were done, we left the training ground and went back to the Elders house.

As we get inside, Nana links us to proceed to the meeting room.

Miya and I stared at each other in confusion. What with the sudden rendezvous?.

We just let out a shrug and both walked to the meeting room. We saw everyone already here and waiting for us.

We sit down and wait for the Head of the Elders to speak.

“The King will not include the Elders place to be searched; instead he ordered me to, if ever there’s an Elder who has golden eyes will go to the palace.” He said.

“As we know, there’s only one here who has it.” he added and everyone looked my way.

I was shocked at first but I spoke afterwards.

“What if I'm not?” i asked him

“Then if you're not, you definitely can come back here” he said sternly.

I let out a sigh as I don't have an escape on this anymore. I'm now being cornered.

Definitely the King is so smart to order someone who knows everyone here. I rolled my eyes thinking about it. Seems like in my imagination he’s smirking at me as he outplayed me.

“Then I don't have a choice but to go. When will this happen?” I ask, staring at him waiting for his reply.

“Tomorrow. As most of the girls who have the golden eyes are already there.” he said

I nod in response.

His words still echo in my mind but I was back in my senses when Miya nudged my shoulder and gave me a comforting look.

As the meeting was dismissed. I hurriedly walked in my room with Miya following me.

As I am inside, I slump down on my bed, face first.

“Girl.. you can't escape anymore. '' she said sadly as she sat down beside me.

“I know. I don't know what would happen to me when I'm in his hand. Would I be tortured? Killed? “ I said as I have lots of questions in my mind.

“Well, you can only find once he gets you.” she said.

“It's late, i'm gonna go to bed now but if it's bad. I will be there to support you to run away.”she smiled and left my room.

“I deeply sigh and go to sleep.
