Chapter 105 Amelia's Third Mysterious Identity
Among the spectators were Zander, Asher, and Dorian.
It took everyone a few seconds to process what had just happened.
Were their eyes deceiving them, or was this some kind of fantasy movie?
Skinny Amelia had just kicked a two to three hundred-pound Rocky off the stage with one blow. How was that even possible?
But no matter how impossible it seemed, Rocky was lying on the ground in front of them, obviously in pain and unable to speak.
Rocky's normally dark face even looked a bit pale and weak.
This was shocking!
This was the kind of thing that would be criticized as unrealistic and over-the-top in a fantasy movie.
Some people thought the match might end quickly, but no one expected Rocky to be the one taken down at the start.
Seeing Rocky get kicked off the stage, everyone instinctively wanted to scream and cheer for Amelia's incredible performance.
But before they could shout, they suddenly remembered that just a few minutes ago, they had all bet on Rocky to win!
If Rocky lost, they would lose everything they had bet, down to their last dime!
Some spectators, who were extremely confident in Rocky, had bet their entire fortunes on him. If Rocky lost, they'd be completely ruined!
Amelia's opening move made everyone realize how foolish their previous judgment was and how rash their bets had been.
Yeah, if she didn't have real skills, who would step into the ring to die?
Who knew what kind of superhuman strength this Amelia had, but the bets were placed, and there was no changing them now. It was too late to regret.
So everyone could only grit their teeth and shout at Rocky lying on the ground.
"Rocky, get up! Hurry up and get back in the ring!"
"Stand up, Rocky! Are you going to lose to a little girl? Weren't you just looking down on her?"
"Fuck! Rocky, get up! I bet all my money on you! If you lose, I'm going down with you!"
"Rocky, get up and get back in the ring to KO this girl! Aren't you the underground boxing king of River City? Are you going to keep your reputation or not?"
Hearing the frantic shouts around him, Rocky, for the first time in his life, truly understood what it meant to talk the talk without walking the walk.
Because they were really not in pain, while his waist was about to break!
Amelia's kick nearly snapped his spine!
Was this really human strength?
Rocky, always arrogant due to his formidable skills, felt genuine fear towards an opponent for the first time in the ring.
When the whistle blew, Amelia's speed, so fast it left afterimages, and her almost inhuman strength, left a deep psychological scar.
He even felt that even if he got back in the ring with his guard up, Amelia could still kick him off easily.
But even though his legs were trembling, Rocky had to grit his teeth and endure the pain, crawling back onto the stage.
The rules of their underground boxing match stated that as long as the opponent was not knocked out for ten seconds, unable to stand, the match was not over.
And as a contracted boxer, if he quit before the match ended, the penalty fee would be higher than his earnings from several matches.
What could he do?
He had to tough it out.
Seeing Rocky climb back onto the stage, the audience's hope rekindled.
After all, Rocky had fought so many undefeated matches and was called the underground boxing king of River City. He couldn't possibly lose to Amelia.
They believed that he must have been unprepared or underestimated her earlier. This time, back in the ring, he wouldn’t make the same mistake.
The audience, full of confidence, cheered Rocky on.
"Yes! That's it!"
"Go, Rocky! We believe in you!"
"Champion! Champion! Champion!"
"KO! KO! KO!"
The crowd was boiling with excitement.
Then, in the next second, they saw Amelia, with a blank expression, grab Rocky's arm and, before he could react, flip him over her shoulder.
In an instant, Rocky was thrown back to the spot where he had been lying before.
The entire place fell silent.
Rocky's muscles bulged as he shakily got up from the ground again, his eyes red with fury, shouting, "Come on!"
Even if Amelia had superhuman strength, Rocky refused to believe that her strength was limitless.
He couldn't believe he would be thrown off the stage a third time!
Amelia didn't kick Rocky off the stage again.
Because after Rocky climbed back onto the stage for the third time, Amelia finally flexed her wrist and ankle, assumed a basic fighting stance, and looked at her opponent.
Rocky shuddered, feeling that Amelia was only now getting serious.
The entire audience held their breath.
Amelia was just now getting into a fighting stance.
Could it be that her kicking Rocky off the stage twice was just a warm-up?
Rocky clenched his fists tightly.
He had fought his way out of the slums, been in countless fights since childhood, and competed in numerous boxing matches. He didn't believe he would lose to Amelia, a teenage girl.
But Rocky soon realized that thinking Amelia just had superhuman strength was too naive.
Not only her speed and power but also her agility, endurance, explosiveness, and fighting skills were all top-notch.
In just a few minutes, her precise defense and evasion, combined with her strong and swift attacks, left Rocky with no chance to counterattack, visibly struggling to keep up.
In stark contrast, Amelia remained calm and composed.
While Rocky was gasping for breath, Amelia's hair was just a bit messy, her forehead wasn't even sweating, and her breathing was incredibly steady.
This comparison was a real killer.
As the outcome became clear, Asher suddenly gasped in the audience, slapping his thigh and exclaiming, "Holy crap! I think I know who that is on stage!"
"What?" Dorian looked confused, "You mean you know if she's Rose?"
"I don't know if she's Rose, but I'm sure she's Bald Eagle!" Asher said with certainty.
"Bald Eagle?" Dorian was even more puzzled, "Who's that?"
"A legendary figure in Abyss Underground Fights," Asher's eyes were glowing, "Or rather, a national hero of Celestria who keeps a low profile!"
