Chapter 24

"l still don't get why you would do something like that, I mean I know it's really sad that she lost a brother or something but it doesn't mean that you have to disappear for two weeks only to take care of her, it doesn't make sense and we both know that girl is a bitch. "Aria just stop complaining" I shake my head at her.

Aria hasn't stopped complaining about the fact that I disappeared for two weeks without telling her or calling her and I have been trying to apologise and explain the lie that I was told but she keeps complaining and now it's actually making me laugh. She says that everybody at this school is annoying except me. Aria is crazy so she doesn't get along with a lot of people because of her sassy and violent nature but l just love her.

I get why are we doesn't like Ali though, I mean the girl doesn't even make it easy for anyone to like her. "I will do so for you or anybody else ,so stop complaining "l smile you wrapping my arm around hers and she just laughs as we walk to the cafeteria for lunch. Aria has a really contagious laugh and every time she does it it just puts a smile on my face. "But what you really should have been doing was supporting your sexy and rich boyfriend but he just had to go and support that crazy bitch "l stiffen a bit when she says that because the guilt is eating me but I just put a smile on my face so that are she doesn't question me.

"l completely agree "Killian says putting a hand on my shoulder. He really loves you these little surprise whereby he pops out of nowhere and I must say I loved it too."oh stop it you two, Ali needed me and I was there for her "I told them both even though it's a lie. "Well l needed you too but you went there for me "Killian pouts and l laugh. Despite everything Killian has just something about him that puts a smile on my face even though l crossed a point of no return with him.

How do you date someone whose brother you killed. How do you make peace with something like that and look at him in the face every night because l wouldn't be able to.

"don't be a crybaby Killian "I said smiling at him but he kissed my cheek out of nowhere and my whole body just went on lockdown. Once upon a time his kisses didn't bother me in fact l looked forward to them even though l was playing hard to get but now they just make me uncomfortable and disgusted with myself and my body. "Are you okay" he asked me and it turns out he did notice my body's reaction to his touch but l don't want to hurt his feelings so l do something that l seem to be doing a lot of late "of course l am" l reassure him but l am far from fine.

"There's just something going on with you ever since you came back "he said out of nowhere and my heart starts beating for pump. There is no escaping that truth and it seems like it's catching up with me and fast. "I've noticed it as well "Aria said and l frowned but I don't find it in me to blame her for it ,she's just trying to be a good friend even though she's selling me out.

"Is it because you and uncle Alexander look identical, I didn't wanna bring it up but l can see it's bothering you as well since you've met him and Ali can't stop talking about it" He said and I looked at him in shock ,so Ali really suspects the truth and that she's getting closer and closer to it. "Uncle Alexander "I asked him ,I know that their families are close and all but hearing him call Mr Parker uncle is just disturbing and sick because his uncle or the man he considers his uncle is actually the one who covered up his brother's murder.

"Who's that" Aria ask clearly confused about what we are talking about and l sigh. l might as well tell her since Killian just talked about it in front of her. We pull up the chairs in the cafeteria and sit with our food. "Ali's dad "l said to her and she opened her eyes wide. "So you look like her father " before l could answer her though Killian jumped right in. "Like a female copy, do you know Liam Parker the actor." He asked her and she looked at me in realization.

"She's a mini Liam" she said touching my face like it was some sort of wonder and l slapped her hand away. "Yes" Killian chuckled and l just rolled my eyes at them. They were speaking about me like l wasn't even here.

"Are you his daughter whom he got outside of his marriage "Aria asked me even though she looked like she was having a hard time coming to terms with what she just heard. "No" l shouted and they both looked at me in shock.

"l don't want to talk about it" l cut them both off.
