Chapter 21
"I love doing this as well "I turned my head and I noticed Mrs Parker standing above me. Today I just decided to go to the garden and just sit on the line with my looking up at the sky. "Doing what" I asked her. "It gives me peace of mind when I just stare at the sky, and I look at the blue sky, the clouds, the stars ,the sun. "She mumbles looking up.
"then join me "I smiled at her petting the space next to me. She laughed but joined me. "blood does not define a person you know, their upbringing the values they are taught by their parents that's what defines who you are." She said and I just looked at her in awe. Mrs Parker didn't outright say that she knew the truth but I could see it in her eyes and actions but I refused to ask her, I think we just need time to process and understand all this before we talk about it.
"I think life is so unfair "I said wiping a stray tear. "Life has never been fair I don't think it was meant to be but I like to believe that everything happens for a good reason, I believe that every single thing we go through defines the person that we grow into the person that we evolve into. We all go through a phase of trials and tribulations but the person that you come out of that situation as makes you who you are. You either come back stronger than ever are you come back weak and defeated.
"Being strong isn't easy. "l turned to look at her but she just smiled and touched my cheek. "Nothing comes easy, if you expect things to just fall into your lap then you're in for a tough time because at the end of the day being a spoiled brat or somebody who has never experienced tough times only shapes you into a dependent person. Go out there live your life, make mistakes. Fall down but get back up.
I won't sit here and tell you that I know how you feel, everyone deals with pain differently so I don't know how are you feel, I don't understand how you feel and I am very sympathetic but this pain will be a burden for life and you will have to carry that burden for the rest of your life but that doesn't mean you should stop living. I don't know your parents but I'm sure they would've wished you to leave the best life possible.
I know this incident does not make it easy, I know you perhaps feel much worse now after the incident but you have to move on with your life. Sorrows will always be a part of life but at the end of the day you have to live and let live
. She kept advising me on a lot of things and it made me realise that I was just focusing on my grief and everything that has been going wrong in my life that I have never taken a minute to reflect on all the good things that have been happening.
I've gained a friend in Aria, I found of a sister in Ali. I have a brother that l have not met as yet but I am excited to meet him. I have two sets of parents yes, I lost the ones that raised me, made me the person that I am ,ones that I love more than anything in the world but I can still build a relationship with these ones. I own multiple hospitals and pharmacies. I am basically a millionaire but I'm wallowing in self pity. Somethings have to change in my life. I have to take control of my life the time has come.

Ali and I spent a week more at her home and every second of it was heaven. Mrs Parker treated me like a daughter. She did'nt ask me even once if I suspected something because of my look or something like that but Ali on the other hand was a completely different matter. Sometimes she said just looks at me for a while and it is getting pretty weird and creepy. Her father was a completely different matter, it's like he's avoiding me like ,he doesn't want to be near me but I just wanted to spend some time with him and to get to know my father without telling him that I'm his daughter.
Mrs Parker took me for retail therapy, she took me shopping even though I hate shopping and she does too but I guess she just wanted us to spend some time together. We cooked breakfast lunch and dinner together and we talked and laughed for hours whenever we were together . We have a unique connection, we love the same things, we hate the same things and we totally connect on another level but there is always something on her mind, she just zones away sometimes when I talk to her, like she's miles and miles away and so on reachable.
"You and my mother seem get along well, "Ali says burging into my room. Yes I have a room now, Mrs Parker prepared the guest from for me to stay in so that Ali and I don't share because of her lavender stunt and I'm grateful for that because a girl who would willingly put lavender to spite her own brother imagine what she would do to me. There is something that I've noticed about her ever since I got her. She's a spoiled brat and her father allows for her to do anything and everything she wants and it's most probably the reason why she thinks she's better than everyone. She and Mrs Parker don't get along at all.
The two of them are just so detached. I don't think that's how are relationship between a mother and daughter should be like but who am I to judge. I don't think Mrs Parker is to blame though. Nothing the woman says gets in Ali's thick skull instead she just goes to complain to her father and it's annoying because I think she is the reason why her mom and dad fight like this. He childishness is getting in the way of her parents relationship.
The way the media defined the relationship between Mrs Parker and Mr Parker is not how it seems. They just seem so cold with each other. When Mr Parker is home Mrs Parker just gets all weird and quiet and I don't understand her but when he's not here he's she smiles and she's happy ,I just hope he is not abusing her or something like that because I wouldn't want that for my mother. Yes my mother. In just one week this woman has been my voice of reason, strength and my weakness and I just love her.
