Author’s POV

"Mam, we have reached" When Aashi heard the driver uncle's voice, she looked outside and found herself in front of the Khurana Group of Industries which was standing in its full glory and which was a power source in itself.

"May I help you" driver uncle asked her to which she politely told him that she will take care of herself from here so he didn't need to worry about her.

She also sent him back mansion saying that she will come back with Vishant as she was about to go straight to the airport, which she didn’t want Vishant to know about and if the driver uncle had gone to drop her, it would not be possible at all.

She got down from the car with the tiffin which she made with her hands for Vishant and Karan as she did not know when she will get such a chance again. She wanted to spend some time with both of them before leaving as they were the only two who were not aware of her going to New York. The day she told Neeraj about her decision that she was ready to go to New York, the next day she went to Agarwal mansion to meet her family and informed them about her decision, where she also called her friends so that she could tell them about this too.

When she dropped this bomb on everyone, then everyone became quiet for some time, no one said anything, but the next moment, as soon as they came out of their shock, they started shooting questions at her, which was very difficult for her to handle but Neeraj and Savitri rescued her who came with her.

At first no one was ready to send her alone to New York but when Neeraj convinced, they agreed reluctantly but with some conditions like she will call everyone daily, if she has even a small problem then she will not hide from them and she will not stop them from meeting her whenever they feel like they can come there to meet her for which she agreed but all four of her crazy friends went two steps ahead of her family and declared that they will do their further studies with her from New York only, as soon as arrangements were made for them to come to New York, they will join her.

At first, she was shocked to hear that but in the very next moment she started jumping with happiness that she will not be there alone but her smile fell on her face when Neeraj strictly forbade everyone to do so as he wanted Aashi to learn to depend on herself and everyone had to obey him with a sad heart.

"Mam, do you need help??" Hearing someone's voice, she snapped out of her thoughts and saw that the guard was looking at her. She didn’t even know when she reached the entrance of the building.

"I want to go inside" She pointed inside with her empty hand on which he raised his eyebrow and told her "Sorry you can't go inside without ID card."

It was the rule of Khurana industry that without employee ID, they should not be allowed to enter inside.

"I don't have any ID card" she told him upon hearing which he asked her "do you have an appointment letter to meet anyone in the building??"

He didn’t know her. Only a few people knew about her being Vishant's wife because she had never made a public appearance with Vishant as his wife.

She shook her head to which the guard sighed and said in a polite tone "Sorry mam, if you don't have the appointment letter, I can't let you inside but you can call the person whom you have come to meet and let me talk to him/her, if possible, call him/her here."

He couldn’t let her in just like that because two days ago another guard had made the same mistake, he had let in a girl who was claiming to know Vishant personally but in no time vishant threw the girl and the guard out of the building and warned everyone that if someone did such a carelessness then no one will be worse than him.

She first called Vishant whose phone switched off and then Karan who did not pick up the phone even after calling several times.

“But Vishant and Karan Bhai (bro) know me personally” she tried to tell him but he did not agree with this and she had no option but to call Neeraj.

She told everything to him who asked her to wait for two minutes and to hand over the phone to the guard.

As soon as the guard got to know who she was, he apologized to her and took her to the waiting place from where Raman was supposed to guide her.

"Mam once again sorry I didn't know that you are Vishant sir's wife" he apologized to her once again on which she gave him a genuine smile "Don't say sorry to me again and again, you were just doing your duty"

"Thank you so much" he said bowing his head lightly.

"Thank God you have come because only you can save us from the raging lion." Raman exclaimed coming towards her. The guard left from there seeing him because that his work was over.

Aashi smiled seeing him as she knew that he had come to Shaan Mansion many times.

"Give me tiffin" he told her who gave it to him as it was very heavy.

"Hello Raman Bhai" she greeted him to which he gave her a big smile "Hello Mam, you know that if we ask God from our heart for anything, we definitely get it."

He guided her the way and she followed him.

“What was it that you asked for that you have got” she asked while entering the lift.
