Chapter 228 The Villa Trap

Chapter 228 The Villa Trap
"Don't say a word, Oliver," Baby warned Oliver as they walked toward the car.

Oliver frowned, "I wasn't," he replied.

Baby nodded, "Your eyes said it all. You want to tell Kai 'I told him so.'"

Oliver sighed, "I'm not insensitive, Baby."

"With me, babe," Saint waved Baby over from his car.

"Let's go see what those crazy bitches want," Baby said and hurried over to Saint.

"You okay?" Baby asked as he approached Saint.

Saint sighed, "I'm fine. I'm just worried for my parents. These women are crazy; they can actually hurt them," he muttered.

Baby glanced around, seeing their friends getting ready to drive behind them.

"They can't do anything to them. We've got evidence," he smiled encouragingly.

"Come on," Saint opened the door for Baby.

Soon, they were on their way to Anna's Villa, minds filled with uncertainty.

Kai's car suddenly sped past Saint's, as if he couldn't wait to get there and get the answers for himself.

"He's hurting," Baby whispered.

Saint nodded, "As he should. Rode betrayed us all," he murmured.

"How could he?" Baby asked, his face filled with disbelief.

It didn't make sense to him. Rode was so fun and chatty and very unserious; how could he suddenly turn into a villain overnight?

After a few minutes, they arrived at Anna's towering gate and a group of armed men waved them down.

They quietly left their car and approached the men.

"We need to see your boss," Saint told them, his voice calm but his eyes piercing and daring.

"Hands up," one of the men demanded.

"Hands up, babe," Baby shook his head at Saint, who was about to refuse the search.

Sighing, Saint lifted his hands, and so did the others.

The guards took their time to search them thoroughly, making sure there were no hidden cameras like last night or any other recording devices.

"You're wasting your time, bodyguards. Do you really think we'd come here with a camera?" Kai suddenly asked, his face turning.

Baby muttered under his breath. Was Kai trying to get himself killed? Heartbreak can really make a person act stupid.

"All clear, boss," a man spoke into his mic.

"Your phones? Why are you not with phones?" The man asked Saint.

"Because," Saint shrugged, smirking.

They had agreed to leave their phones behind; they already guessed Anna and Georgia would try to take their phones and delete all evidence—not that it mattered because it had been backed up, but they just wanted to see the frustration on their faces.

"If it helps, I do have my phone..." Cassian said, pointing to his car.

The guys snapped their heads toward him, but not in shock; they had an amused look on their faces.

Absolutely nothing concerning their situation was on Cassian's phone; as a matter of fact, that wasn't his response phone, it was a recorded, cloned as-a-phone.

"Get it," the man ordered one of the guards.

They watched the guard struggle to open Cassian's car, and after a while, he turned to their boss, "It's locked, boss."

"You guys are so dumb," Cam murmured.

"Agreed, sweetheart," Wong smirked.

"Unlock your car," the man ordered Cassian.

"Ask nicely," Cassian winked at him.

"Unlock your car," the man held out a gun in front of Cassian.

Cassian smirked, "More like it," he said flatly and went to unlock his car with his fingerprint.

"Go ahead, take the phone," he pointed to his seat.

The bodyguard wasted no time in grabbing it and walking back to his boss.

"It's dead, boss. No battery."

"Keep it. Do not lose it till the boss speaks on it," the man said.

"Get in," the man nodded at the men at the gates.

The gates opened and Saint led his friends through.

"Thank you for the hospitality," he said to the man as he walked past him.

Inside, another group of men waited in front of the lavish villa, but these ones were dressed as butlers, only they were not.

"Welcome, please follow us in," one of the men said, smiling.

"Aww, cut the crap, Ben," Takeshi rolled his eyes at the man.

"It's always a pleasure to have you home, Takeshi," the man smirked.

"I wish I could say the same. Where are the bitches?" Takeshi questioned.

Slowly, Ben pulled a blade and held it in front of Takeshi, "Do not forget, I have the order to put in place if you continue with your disrespect," he warned.

Behind them, Cam was holding onto Oliver, who was about to play hero. "Chill," Cam whispered.

"Right, cute toy..." Takeshi placed his finger at the pointy part of the blade and slowly lowered it from his face, "Now, respectfully, where is my dear dad, my dear stepmother, and my dear stepmother's friend?" He asked, smiling.

Ben looked irritated, but he quickly masked his anger and turned toward the guys with a smile, "This way, please," he said and started walking up the stairs.

"He's charming," Cam muttered.

Baby sent him a glare, sighing.

They were about to enter the door when Ben suddenly paused and turned. "Who is Saint?" He asked.

"I am," Cassian said, lifting his hand as he stood beside Saint.

Ben narrowed his eyes at him, "You already know your parents are in there. Here's the thing," he smirked, leaning toward Cassian.

"Listen, Saint, the butlers in the dining room have guns, and if you or your minions behave out of line, they will not hesitate to use them on your dear parents. Comply, and you all will be free, understand?" Ben asked.

Cassian blinked twice, "Easy-peasy," he smiled.

Saint balled his fists, wishing all this could be over already.

Ben gritted his teeth and turned back to the door. He opened it and stood aside.

"Lead them to the dining room, Takeshi—"

"Uh, but that's kinda like your job around here, right?" Takeshi narrowed his eyes at Ben.

"Let's go," Oliver tugged Takeshi forward, not waiting for Ben's reply.

"But that's really his job—"

"Which way?" Oliver asked, cutting Takeshi off.

They were standing in the luxury living room; two hallways stretched on each of their sides.

Takeshi sighed and groaned, "Left," he murmured and headed toward the left hallway.

"Here goes nothing," Baby muttered, lacing his fingers with Saint's.

Kai was quiet, his eyes scanning the whole place for just a glimpse of Rode. Call him stupid, but he wasn't believing any of this until he had spoken one-on-one with Rode. Only a confirmation from Rode would make him a believer, and he prayed Rode confirmed the right things, not the evil he was associating himself with.

"Right in here," Takeshi announced in front of them and pushed at the door.

"Darn it," he muttered.

"What?" Saint asked, stepping forward.

"It's locked. We have to wait for one of those morons to unlock it with their card," Takeshi answered.

"So, we're basically stepping into a trap," Baby mumbled.

"That's about right," Takeshi smiled.

"Right..." Cam whispered.

"Oh, here he comes," Takeshi pointed behind the group.

The bodyguard who had taken Cassian's phone marched forward, his face hardened in hate.

"Took you long enough, Will," Takeshi muttered, stepping out of the way for him.

"It's Bill," Bill snapped at Takeshi.

"I know... Will," Takeshi smirked.

Bill ignored him and unlocked the door. "Behave," he said to them.

"We'll try," Baby shrugged, walking beside Saint as they entered the beautiful sun-kissed dining room.

"Gotta give it to her, the bitch has got taste," Cam said, glancing around the place.

"Agreed," Cassian added.

Suddenly, a woman's soft laughter echoed across the room.

"Mother," Saint snapped his head toward the direction.

"Ah, right, sorry, I almost forgot. There's a VVIP dining room right over there, follow me," Takeshi said, leading them past the long table and toward a closed white door.

Saint was frowning, wondering what was going on inside that place. His mother was laughing; it comforted him, but it also scared him. What sort of sick game were these women playing with them?

He pushed the door in and stepped inside immediately.

The sight in front of him shocked him.

A massive TV was playing some old family drama, one his mother liked so much, and she was sitting between Georgia and Anna at the dining table, wine and food sitting in front of them as they laughed and giggled about the show.

Wrong.

Everything was wrong about this.
