Chapter 46 — Let’s Get Married, Officially

“Come here.” Her heart erupted when she heard Ace’s gentle voice. She didn’t know where she was, but there was a gigantic wall right beside them as if it was built to lure enemies away.

“Closer…”

her hands and forehead became sweaty. Her body felt weak. Ace had become more and more gentle towards her and her fragile heart, but she couldn’t figure out why.

After the first eclipse, he changed. The way he talked, the things he did, and his approach towards her. It was as if he considered her a significant person in his life. But God knew that she was not. Maybe she was just assuming that a simple gesture from Ace meant more than it did, and she was letting her walls melt for no reason.

When Red guided her towards Ace, she confirmed that this place was indeed a military hideout. Ace was talking to a man that was familiar to her. He was wearing a unique military uniform, and he was definitely a dangerous man. Of course, it was because of his jaw-dropping handsomeness.

“Don't you remember him?” he asked while holding her hand. “This is Diamond Fletcher, a five-star general. He’s also one of my friends, so you can call him Dye,” he explained while looking at her with his dark eyes.

That’s it! No wonder he was so familiar. She had met him many times already. He was the sin of pride. Honestly, all of the sins were near perfect. They had their own uniqueness and advantages.

“It’s been so long, Thea. Glad to see that you’re still surviving.”

She felt chills run down her body. He was tall and manlier than Ace. Maybe because he was military and always trained.

His eyes were also dark, and his features were sharp like Ace’s. They even shared the same dangerous presence. He raised his hand to Thea, and she swallowed before accepting Dye’s hand.

“Long time, no see. I guess I’m still lucky to be alive,” she said casually with a smile. Her appearance was calm, but she was screaming inside. Why wouldn’t she? She was surrounded by gorgeous men.

Ace was to her right while Red was to her left. Not to mention that another handsome man was in front of her. She was cornered by these perfect men. Did the heavens love her so much that they blessed her with extremely good-looking men? The heck!

“That’s good to know.” He withdrew his hand before continuing. “I’ll be going now. There’s something I need to handle in the basement.”

He said something to Ace before dragging Red with him. I could see how powerful he was. By just using the power of being a five-star general, he could easily rule the whole city. Add his vampire powers to that? Unbeatable.

“He’s not just a vampire, sweetheart.” Ace stared back and smirked. “He’s a vaewolf.” Hearing what her husband said, it took a minute for Thea to process the information. She was stunned.

“So that means—”

“Yes.” He held her hand and looked at her. “He’s a half-breed. A vampire and a werewolf. He’s actually the strongest among all of us.” Now it was clear in Thea's mind. Maybe that was the reason why she felt that he was so cold and fearless.

“By the way, we're going home today.” His words were like fireworks in the night. They were going home today. So, Ace didn’t bring her here to celebrate? Silly her! Why would someone bring a person to a military hideout just to celebrate a graduation?

“Don’t worry. I just came here to talk about something with Dye.” She stopped and lifted her head to look at him. His eyes were playful, and he smiled at her with an amused smirk.

He moved closer to her. As always, his existence made her feel weak and excited. She woke up knowing that there was a place in her heart for Ace.

“We can celebrate your graduation in bed. If you want, of course,” he whispered. Her body rippled with excitement. Ace was always straightforward, but there was something new to his words and smiles.

“I-I…I'm going to call Red. Let’s get going.” She hurriedly moved away and turned around.

“Aesthetic Selez…”

Ace's voice was so seductive. This was the second time he used her full name. She knew that he was about to say something serious.

“Let’s get married officially.”

Her heart pounded so hard, and her chest tightened. A shiver ran down her spine.
