Chapter 12 A New Start: Meeting Roommates

The rest of the hours were spent on registering, visiting the manager of the hostel, and taking my keys to the room I’d be sharing with 3 other students, as I was told.
When I was told I’d be staying with three others, I had felt a little bit of dissatisfaction, but after I was told by the manager who noticed the frown on my face that the three females’ energy status was either Omega or Beta, I felt relieved because there is no way I’d live with an alpha female.
Just like how there are males with Alpha energies, there are also females with Alpha energies but they are mostly ranked as S+ and it is rare to see a SS+ Female Alpha. But even at that, when they are in their rut, it's enough to make omegas become weak and submit which I had never liked even if I'm not a weak omega like others.
After everything was done, I entered the car with Marcus’s assistant whom I have come to know as—Gabriel.
The car was silent as we drove back to the mansion, but it was a different silence from when we came to the college. This time, it was cold, tense and I'm sure a little trigger might set things ablaze.
Two hours later, the car entered the mansion I still wouldn't stop gasping at. Men with strong aura stood in every corner and I knew there were some hidden around, but this time, I wasn't in any mood to check around, and I even ignored the butler who had tried to talk to me.
Though I feel bad for the old man, I don't just want to talk, because I might burst out in tears at any moment.
Back in my room, I didn't even take off my shoes, I lay on the bed, let my hands gather my knees to my chest and I stared at the wall in a daze. My eyes stung as the words Gabriel had spat echoed in my head again.
He had said Marcus had ordered him to do so…
I bit my lips and swallowed down the choking sounds I was about to make. I didn't want to cry… I really don't want to. I'm not a weak omega! I'm not!
Though I thought like that, my lips were bitten hard, my eyes stung with me forcing back my tears.
“What to do…?” I whimpered.
Marcus might forget me if I don't meet him. What if he was snatched away?! He fucking has other women at his beck and call. Darn it!
“Bad person! Liar! He had promised my dad that he would protect me, but he broke it! Liar!” I jolted up as I spoke, anger oozing through my body as I glared at the pillow like I was looking at Marcus.
“If I stay in college, then how would I be able to seduce him?! How would I make him mine?! How would I show him that I’m now a woman and not a kid?!”
All these filled my mind and made me so irritated, but then, a thought flashed through my mind and my eyes lit up in happiness. My lips curled cheekily, my tongue slid out to lick my lips, and I snapped my finger, “Want me to give up?” I smirked, “Dream on!”
The Next Morning…
I woke up early as I had been told that the driver would be here to pick me up very early. Today is the day I’d start my college life in my home country, and even though I knew that I was leaving the mansion, I felt anticipation for the new life.
Though, I had been in college while abroad, and would be starting from “Year 2” in this place, Country Melicent.
I picked up my easel which I had brought in here, and also my small backpack and finally, I'm ready to go. I stood by the door and looked at the room which I had only lived in for a few days, but somehow, I didn't feel any more sadness because I knew I would be back.
I turned and walked downstairs, and even though I knew Marcus wouldn't be here, I still couldn't help but look around, but just like I expected, he didn't come back to send me off.
My lips curled into a bitter smile, and with a sigh, I straightened my back and went outside where the omega and guards who would be following me stood. Well, Gabriel isn't anywhere to be found. How nice…
And there we go! The new start.
I stood in the middle of the wide and large room and I felt satisfied. The room was big with bunks occupying each side of the room leaving more space for other things like the wardrobe and bookshelves for each of the students.
I hadn't met anyone when I came in, but I saw a bunk had been occupied by two students’ belongings, so I chose the bunk on the left side which was empty. Well… as the first person to get here, I chose a better option, which is choosing the bunk below.
I watched the omega maid who helped arrange my clothes and other things but I didn't let her arrange my suppressants and other personal items. The room was silent as we arranged things, but suddenly, loud laughter interrupted the silence which drew my attention.
I narrowed my eyes as footsteps came nearer and a sweet scent burst into my nose making me raise an eyebrow.
“An omega?” I muttered, but soon, I got my answer as two females opened the door and walked into the room.
The moment they opened the door, our eyes met and I could see their stunned faces. The room fell into an awkward silence, and we three looked at each other.
They stood prettily by the door. One looked petite, gentle and shy, and the other… hmm…
I raised an eyebrow and could immediately guess that she wasn't an omega. Besides, now that they were closer, I knew that the sweet scent that had slipped into my nose earlier had come from the petite female and I guessed that she might have used some suppressant to cover it but… my nose had always been sensitive.
Finally, the other one whom I guessed was a beta smiled politely and walked closer.
“Hi, I'm Rina, a beta and your roommate, and this is,” She paused, pulling the petite lady with her as she introduced, “…She is Becca, an omega. Also our roommate. Sorry for bustling in, we didn't know you’d be here soon.”
Hearing her polite words, my beautiful face bloomed into a genuine smile. I stretched my hand to them, “Hi, I'm Elena, an Omega and I’ll be your roommate. I hope we get along well.”
They took my hand in a shake, and we all smiled at each other. I don't know if this was genuine as I had experienced some bitches but just like I had said, let's get along peacefully.
The greetings ended, and I couldn't help but look at the empty upper bunk.
“I wonder who the fourth roommate would be,” I muttered to myself, but then, I'm not really worried because I know my priority should be to study well, and… Seduce Alpha Marcus until he is mine!
But, how can I seduce him when he isn't here?
