Chapter 40

Johana Morin POV

"Why did you leave us last night, Bea?" I heard Trey asked while we're here in the dormitory's living room.

Madeline stayed at Trey's house last night and they just arrived today to pick up Bea because they wanted to have a lunch date together.

"Actually Trey it was because I saw Bea last night going wild and she's really drunk so I decided to bring her home. I helped her and I was the one who drove her car. I was worried about her and I didn't know that Bea's with you. I thought she was alone." Jia explained. Oh gosh. Thank you for your existence, Jianna.

"I actually don't remember anything last night so big thanks to Jia for helping me." Said Bea.

"Anyway, it's okay as long as you're safe. We're so drunk too last night." Said Trey.

"Yup and now you really want us to go shopping today? My head still hurts!" Said Madeline.

"We're strong girls! Even if we have hangover, we can still go shopping! Bea, start preparing now. We'll wait for you in the car." Said Trey and pulled Madeline outside the dormitory after we bid goodbye.

I looked at Bea. I know she doesn't want to come with Trey but she has no choice. She has to make it up to her friends since she left them last night.

"Thanks, Jia. You're really a life saver." Said Bea.

"You're welcome!" Jia said.

Bea looked at me. "I'll just go prepare upstairs."

I just nodded.

I saw Jianna looking at me. "What?" I asked.

"You're really allowing her to go out?" She asked.

"Why not?"

She just shrugged. "Aren't you jealous of Bea and Madeline?"

"I trust Bea. Besides, I know that they're just friends." I said.

Jia smiled at me. "Wow! You're really a grown woman now."

"Whatever, Jia."

When Bea left, I decided to go to my room and Jia followed me because she has nothing to do with her life right now but to irritate me.

"So, what happened last night?" Jia asked.

"Nothing happened, Jia. We just kissed and she instantly fell asleep right after I helped her changed her clothes. You know how badly drunk she was last night." I said.

Jia pouted. "I don't believe you. I heard all of your moans."

My eyes widened. "What?!"

"Oh! I got you, Johana! That reaction means you really did that thing last night. Am I right?" Jia said while laughing.

"Of course not! We just kissed! Nothing more than that."

She just rolled her eyes. "Okay, if you say so."

But honestly, we just kissed last night... but it wasn't the usual kiss that we do, last night was kind of intense since she's drunk. We're still in the first base though.

"Anyway, can you suggest a gift for Bea? We're so close to celebrating our first month of being together again."

"Give her some chocolates." She said and I rolled my eyes.

"Really, Jia? That's so basic."

She laughed. "I was just craving for some sweets. Can you ask Bea to buy me some?"

"Okay." I said and texted Bea. Bea replied so fast.

"She's asking what kind of chocolate do you want?"

"Hmm... Anything." Said Jia so I replied that.

"That's it. Your cravings will be satisfied later when she comes home. Anyway, what gift do you think suits her for our first month of being together again?"

"I can't answer that, Jo. I think it will be much sweeter if the idea came from you and not from anyone. I'm pretty sure that whatever that is, as long as you're the one who thought of the gift, Bea would surely appreciate it even more."

"Well, you're right. I'll just think about it. Thanks for that Jia!"

After that, I decided to study here inside my room while Jia is just resting on my bed. She just wants to spend time with me because she's also waiting for Bea's bring-home treats.

After an hour and a half, Bea went inside the room and hugged me.

"Oh. You're here already?" I asked.

She nodded. "They just drop me off here because they will be staying at Trey's house. Anyway, here's your chocolates." She said.

Jianna immediately hugged her. "OMG! Thank you Bea! That's a lot!" Jia said while jumping in happiness.

I laughed at Bea's reaction. She was so surprised. "What? This is for Johana, Jia."

"Bub, Jia was actually the one who craves for that. It's hers." I said.

"Oh. Alright." Said Bea and she gave the paper bag with lots of chocolates to Jia.

"It's free right, Bea? I don't have to pay for these right?" Jia asked. She really loves free things.

Bea just nodded. "As if you know how to pay."

Jia and I laughed. "Thanks so much, Bea!" Jia said while enjoying her snacks.

Bea looked at me. "Jo, it's been some time since we last go out. Can we eat outside?"

"Why? You're still hungry? I thought you had lunch date."

"Yeah we had but it was pretty quick and I wasn't able to enjoy the food since Trey and Madeline were so excited to go shopping. They just invited me to bring their paper bags." Bea said.

"Aww, it's alright baby. I'll just prepare." I said and closed my book.

"You guys are going outside? Can I come too?" Jianna asked.

"Jia, I want to be alone with Johana today." Bea said.

"But they will surely notice it if both of you aren't here. They might think something suspicious about you two. So you really have to bring a friend just to be safe from judgments." Said Jia.

Bea looked at me and it seems like Jia won again because she's right and we both agreed.

"Jianna always gets what she wants. Congrats! You can come with us!" Said Bea and we all laughed.

We're now here inside a Japanese restaurant here in Tagaytay. It's a sushi date today!

I looked at Jia and she's really enjoying her food.

"Jia eat slowly. We won't leave you here." I joked.

"Don't mind her Jo. Let the kid enjoy her free food." Said Bea and we laughed at Jia. But the kid doesn't really care at all.

After eating our food, Jo and I decided to go to the restaurant's overlooking while Jianna's in the comfort room. She really ate a lot that's why we understand if she stays longer inside that room.

Since no one knows who we are here, Bea was so free to hug me behind my back. She rests her face on my shoulder.

"This kind of view is nothing compared to your face, baby Johana. You're my best view." She whispered while looking at me. I smiled. I feel like I'm blushing.

"Aww. You're so sweet, Bea."

She hugged me even tighter. "Thank you for being with me today, baby."

"You know that I live for moments like this, right? You should not thank me, Bey. I wanted this."

She kissed my hair. "I wish we're always like this."

"And I wish you're always here with me." I said.

"Hey lovebirds! Enough of that! I'm done being called by mother nature for some fertilizer!" We heard Jianna said but we just ignored her to annoy her.

"I love you, Beatriz." I said.

"I love you more, my baby Johana." Beatriz said.

"I love you, self! I love you more, self!" We heard Jia said that's why we looked at her and she's hugging herself.

Aww, my poor bestie.

Bea and I walked closer to her and hugged her too.

"Ew! You smell like poop, Jia!" Beatriz teased right after the hug.

"Excuse me! I washed so hard and I'm cleaner than you." Said Jia and rolled her eyes.

We just laughed and enjoy the day altogether. I'm happy to have the best girlfriend and the best bestfriend right here. It's so rare to find someone like them at the same time.

I remember when Jianna asked us awhile ago in the car on how does it feel to hide this perfect relationship, I wasn't able to answer her question because I feel like I'm gonna cry if I answer it in front of Bea.

Bea said that it was challenging but it's worth it.

But if I'm going to answer that, I must say that it was not really hard at all because Bea makes it so much easy for the two of us... she never gets tired of providing excitement on this relationship to the point that sometimes I don't think we're still hiding. All I know is that we're just being in love.
