Chapter 35

“How dare they?”

“Is this what I gain from my children? This kind of thing?”

“Edward, tell something”

I heard my mom’s both angry and broken voice. I slowly opened my eyes and sat up on the bed as Ilooked at my mom and dad who were looking at me with both shock and something strange. Looking at their faces, my heart went numb as I realized what kind of a situation I’m in right now.

I turned my head and looked at Seyah who was still sleeping beside me, half of her breasts were exposed and I immediately covered her with the quilt.

“Mom.. Dad” my heart was beating fast with horror and my whole body went numb. Looking at mom’s tears and fury filled face, I felt a throbbing pain in my heart. She watched me for a while and walked towards me before slapping me hard across my face.

My eyes turned red and my body was trembling. I looked at her wanting to speak but I gained nothing but another ruthless slap.

“How could you? Seth?” she yelled at me with pain as she looked at Seyah who was sleeping. I didn’t have words to tell, my mind was dazed and I couldn't think anything properly. I looked at my dad who was looking at me but his face didn’t show any emotion. He was just looking at me with a strange face.

“Mom…” I again tried to speak but at the same time Seyah woke up. As soon as she saw our parents in front of us her eyes filled with tears and she covered her body with a quilt.

“SEYAH? Tell me.. Did he force you?” hearing my mom’s words my heart tightened. I looked at Seyah who was looking at mom with horror. Then she slowly shook her head.

“What is this? How could you? As brother and sister!” wiping her tears, mom yelled at both of us while my father was dangerously silent. He wasn’t saying a word. He just watched us with a strange face and that’s all.

“Oh my god… I cannot believe this” my sobbed looking at us. Seeing her crying my eyes filled with tears and I just didn’t know what the fuck exaclty happened. How did they even come here and why so suddenly?

“Mom.. I wanted to tell you guys” I finally collected my words to speak. Then she looked at me with fury and looked away. Her look just stabbed me straight to my heart. Then she again slapped me across my face.

“Mom.. just don’t hit him” , grabbing me from my arm, Seyah uttered. My heart ached hearing her crying. She moved closer to me and grabbed and touched my face where mom hit me. I watched her face for a while and slowly moved her away from my body.

“Alight.. I will give you five minutes. Get changed and come. I don’t wanna let the outside world know what kind of children the Dawson family have” she said angrily before walking out of the room. Then I looked at dad, his eyes held something strange. Then he lowered his head and walked out of the room.

As they left, I looked at Seyah who was crying while burying her face against her palms. Then she looked at me and shook her head.

“Seth.. I .. don’t want.. I just love you” she spoke through her crying. Tears filled in my eyes and I nodded.

“I also love you…” I hugged her against my chest and kissed her forehead as she hugged me back so tightly.

“I’m scared,” she muttered. I couldn’t help but kiss her head wanting to comfort her. Then I got up from the bed and walked into the washroom. Wearing my pants and shirt I came back as I saw Seyah was still crying. Then she looked at me and forcefully smiled.

I helped her to get dressed and then covered her with my coat as we walked out of the room. Seeing us coming out of the room, my mom strode towards the elevator with anger. I wanted to tell them but why the fuck this happened like this?

We finally came home and no one spoke, not even a word. As we entered the house, mom walked and sat on the sofa. Then she watched us with both anger and hurt filled eyes.

“You two love each other?” she asked us. Then I looked at dad and again looked at mom. I clenched my jaws and watched her for a while before speaking.

“Yes,” hearing my reply, mom's eyes turned cold and she looked at Seyah. Then she waited for a while and looked at dad.

“Edward.. What should we do?” she asked him. Dad did nothing but stared at me and Seyah. Then he looked at mom and grabbed his phone out.

“Prepare one ticket for France” he said before hanging up on the call. Then he watched us and looked at mom before walking away.

“Seyah, you will be staying in France from now on. He cannot leave because he just became the new ceo.”

“You guys have a blood relationship and that is impossible” my heart shattered into pieces hearing my mom’s voice. I tightened the grip I had around Seyah’s arm and shook my head.

“Mom, please. Don’t do it. how can she even live there alone?”
