Wedding Bells

Wedding Bells

Alana's POV

It's my wedding day today. I'm getting married to the man of my dreams today!

I haven't seen Ryan for the past forty eight hours. There were a lot of girls' nights and clubs, so we weren't allowed to see each other, and now I was dying to see him, and I mean dying.

Lucinda finally healed so well and fast, she went back to prison, but now I forgive her a little. She made Ryan happy for once and I'll never forget her kindness, even if we never cross paths again.

Unfortunately, Ryan never heard from his dad, and that's okay. There weren't many people to invite, so Ryan went crazy and invited the company staff, some of whom we barely even knew. I heard the hall was already packed with lots of reporters and paparazzi, but I didn't mind.

It's my wedding day. I've already married him, but now everyone got to see me marry him again, and it's the greatest gift I could ever ask for.

My sister was truly over the place, just like she promised. We went for check ups together, and she was doing really well, you wouldn't even realize that she was the same person that almost went crazy months ago because she was stressed and overwhelmed and had been dealing with it in secret.

But I was grateful for her, I mean she's my pregnant maid of honor! My parents were clearly nowhere to be seen, as Ryan immediately put a restraining order against them, so they could never come near us again.

Well, I didn't miss them. I was handling everything right and doing well. I sat there, in my own little world even though the room was bustling with my sister and the staff in charge of glamming me up for the day.

Wedding songs blasted through the room and happy smiles were all I could see. There was an abundance of laughter and good energy, but all I wanted was my husband.

This wedding was just for appearances but still, I kind of loved it. I loved the idea of dressing up and I was even more obsessed with my dress. My hair was styled, make-up done, dress worn, and it was almost time to walk down the aisle and finally meet my husband.

I was walking down with my sister and I was waiting for her to come get me. The room was now empty, everyone had done their jobs. Just me and the bodyguards that were outside. When the door opened up, I expected it to be my sister so I turned around with a smile, but instead, my breath caught when I saw who it was.

Ryan Kelsey. My dearest husband. My husband was a beautiful man, no doubt but now, words failed me. I couldn't describe how handsome he looked. How could one person have this much beauty?

As his eyes wandered across my body, admiring me, I wanted him close. I wanted to be one with his skin, go smell him and hug him, but then I remembered that we couldn't be alone or meet before the wedding.

“What are you doing here?”

“Rude.” He frowned, but he began to approach me. I stood in front of a vanity with a mirror, and he cornered and pinned me there. He tried to kiss me, but I pushed him away.

“Tell me what you're doing here, Ryan Kelsey.” I tried to speak and hide all the many things I was feeling for him in that moment, but my composure began to slip slowly.

“I missed my wife, okay?”

“Ever heard of bad omen?” He rolled his eyes at me.

“I'm rich as fuck. Let it go and kiss me.”

“We can't be doing this.” I said breathlessly, as just then he ran his tongue over my neck before sucking the skin into his mouth, then he dropped peppery kisses all over and I almost forgot my name.

He picked me up, dropped me on the vanity then I pulled his lips to mine and let him kiss me senseless. Our breaths were so damn loud and irregular. We couldn't stay calm. We were all over each other.

“Fuck, should we just cancel this wedding? You're too beautiful. I don't want anybody else seeing you like this or for a lifetime, they'll keep trying to steal you away from me.” He yearned so hard and complained whilst kissing me, and it felt so good.

“No, it'll only be for a few hours. We can do it. By the way, it's mutual. You also make me territorial. You're a pretty man after all.”

I said against his lips.

“Pretty? That's offensive. I'm supposed to be masculine, don't do this to me.”

I laughed, and then he left go of me so we could breath and realize what the hell we had just done. Ryan was so obsessed with me. I wrapped my arms around his neck.

“I can't wait to marry you again. Come on, go. I'm coming now. I won't be gone too long. I promise.” I tried to convince him but was barely convincing myself.

“You're such a tease, Jesus. I pray I survive this.”

He dropped one last kiss on my lips before he finally slipped past the door after letting me down. When he left, I finally breathed well, and as I tried to recover from what just happened, Amanda walked in.

I barely noticed until she spoke, looking right at me.

“Why do you look flushed? Your cheeks are literally red.”

I whipped my head up, saw her, knew I looked like a mess but I still denied it.

“I don't.” I shrugged my shoulders like it was nothing then turned around to look at myself in the mirror.

Wow, Ryan is so dead. He literally ruined my makeup! Nah, I looked worse than I thought. Whatever, I still denied it, but she was a step ahead.

She folded her arms, glaring at me this time around like she was sick of me.

“No need lying to me, I saw Ryan. Sit down let's redo your lipstick and fix your face. Way to go, sister.”

I just sat, low-key sorry.

“I told you he's not supposed to see you before the wedding. Plus, you already knew that. Sure, you two are already married but can't you stay off each other for a minute and respect this?”

Woah, my sister had matured so much, I was now getting scolded. Somehow it warmed my heart. She was reopening the make-up box.

“Yeah I know but he came in here and i–”

“Yet you still entertained him. You're so in love with him. Maybe I don't blame you.”

“I have a feeling that you do.” We burst into laughter. She did a good job, and I even preferred it to the one the professional artist had done initially. Finally, we walked out of the room together, all the way to the aisle and I fought back tears the whole time.
