Mona and Elena
Mona and Elena
I glanced from Elena, who was watching in awe as Jamie peeled N's abdomen muscles away from his body, to Beanie, who was watching Elena's glee with horror. I chuckled to myself as his face got more and more pale as hers grew more excited. I walked over to pat his shoulder sympathetically.
“Welcome to the family, Beanie,” I told him before moving to kneel beside Jamie, Elena, and a screaming N.
“Now, Elena, you have to make sure to go slow and be careful what you remove when you remove it. If you remove the wrong thing, he'll die faster.”
“Okay. So, what do we do with all his intestines? It's protecting all the good stuff,” she asked.
“Well, you have to move the intestines out of the way to get to the liver and kidneys. Like this.”
He began to carefully extract N's intestines to set them on his legs. Jamie grinned at me when I sat on N's legs to keep him from thrashing around so much.
“Osprey, can you do something about all of his screaming? It's giving me a migraine,” Elena said.
I leaned down, letting my aura out to force him into compliance. Jamie glanced at me curiously before going back to showing Elena how to slowly remove a kidney. She clapped her hands.
“There's so much blood,” she murmured, completely mesmerized by the amount of life giving liquid spilling out.
She reached out to touch it before lifting her blood-soaked fingers to her mouth to suck the blood from her fingers. Her eyes drifted close while she uttered small moans of pleasure before her eyes popped open when Jamie held N’s kidney under her nose. She took it from him before bouncing up to hurry to Mona’s side. She proudly held up the kidney to her, lowering her head.
“Aunt Mona, it’s my honor to present to you the kidney of our enemy.”
Mona took it from her hands before kneeling in front of Elena with her head down. Elena’s hands went to her throat as tears filled her eyes. Godric puffed his chest out before making me get up to kneel next to my aunt. Jamie punched N in the face, knocking him unconscious, before turning on his knees to face my sister. Adam rushed to kneel in front of Beanie. I lowered my head as the rest of the sleuth kneeled, too. Elena turned in a slow circle, looking around at everybody before stopping to look into Beanie’s eyes.
“What are they doing?” He asked.
She smiled at him before reaching down to gently touch our aunt’s shoulder. “Rise, Beta Mona.”
Beanie, taking Elena’s cue, put his hand on Adam’s shoulder. “Rise, Beta Male Adam.”
They helped the current Betas to their feet before replacing their hands on their shoulders. The current Betas placed their hands on the future Betas opposite shoulder while I got to my feet to move to stand next to Adam before placing my hands on both Adam’s and Beanie’s shoulders, linking all three of us together. I glanced over my shoulder before nodding at my aunt.
“Beta Female Elena,” she said with pride sparkling in her eyes.
“Beta Bernard,” Adam said, smiling at Beanie, who looked like he was about to cry while I beamed at him.
I squeezed Beanie’s shoulder. “Beta Bernard,” I echoed.
My mother and the rest of our family, with Scarlett surrounded in the middle by our family, who led her over to Elena to put her hand on both my aunt’s and sister’s shoulders while the rest of the sleuth came out of the woods to kneel around the clearing. Scarlett glanced at me and then at my father.
“Beta Female Elena!” Scarlett almost shouted.
Elena threw her arms around my aunt and mate while silent tears streamed down her face. My parents tossed their heads back, sending loud growls into the air that were echoed by the rest of the sleuth. I walked over to Scarlett to take her in my arms. I smiled at her as she watched me closely. I tipped her face up as I let my own drop back.
‘Now,’ I linked her.
We both let out a loud growl that mixed with Beanie’s and Elena’s after the sleuth’s echoes had died down. It felt good to make it official that Beanie and Elena were our Beta pair. When the area fell silent again, I lowered my head to kiss Scarlett’s lips softly.
“How’s it feel to have your best friend as your Beta Female?” I asked her.
She ran her fingers through my hair. “Probably the same as it feels to have your best friend as your Beta.”
I chuckled softly before stepping back away from her. I tucked her hair behind her ear. “Go home, baby. I’ll be home soon.”
She leaned against me for a moment before moving away from me. “I love you, Osprey. Be safe.”
“I love you, too, Letti, and I promise you I will.”
I walked her to the edge of the forest before giving her a gentle push. “When I get home, baby, I’m going to show you how proud I am of you.”
She smiled at me as her hand came up to touch my cheek. “You’re such a great Alpha, Osprey. I am proud to be your Alpha Sow.”
I kissed her again softly before releasing her to my mother. Before they walked through a heavy group of trees, Scarlett turned around to give me a shy smile before disappearing between the trees. I sighed as I turned back to where Jamie sat next to N’s still unconscious body, with Elena sitting a foot from him. It didn’t surprise me how fast the sleuth appeared and then disappeared after the Beta ceremony. I could tell that Elena was giddy with being recognized as the future Beta Sow. Everyone knew that she was always going to be the future Beta, but being officially recognized by the sleuth, especially the current Betas and Alphas, hit differently. Jamie guided Elena through removing the rest of N’s organs, and she placed them in a pile on top of his intestines, smiling the whole time. When all his organs were removed from his newly deceased body, Elena got up, carefully arranged the organs in her arms, and carried them over to Mona, who sat in the midst of the wolves, trusting the rest of the sleuth to keep them off of her. Elena laid the organs on the ground in front of Mona before kneeling in front of her.
“Beta Mona.”
When Mona touched her shoulder, she skipped back to Jamie’s side, grinning happily.
“M next?”
Jamie nodded. “Yeah. Do you want to castrate him, sweetheart?”
“NO!”
I burst out laughing at her quick answer. “The only dick she wants to touch is Beanie’s,” I teased.
“Osprey!” Elena said exasperatedly as she blushed.
I shrugged as Raul and Tony pinned M to the ground for Jamie. Elena walked swiftly over to Beanie to bury her face in his chest. I crouched next to M, smirking evilly at him as Jamie began to cut his pants off. I kept my eyes glued to his, almost impressed by his will not to scream. I smirked at him as Jamie began to cut little pieces of his dick off. I reached over to pick up the tip of his cock from the ground before holding it up to his mouth.
“Eat it!” I ordered.
He glared at me, but opened his mouth to consume his own flesh. I continued to feed him small pieces until he passed out. I stood up, stretching, while Jamie kept on cutting tiny pieces off. When he was done, he stuffed the rest of the pieces in M’s mouth before leaving him bleeding on the ground. He dragged the body to lie next to the ant pile. Everybody watched for a minute as the ants began to swarm the new body. I turned to Raul.
“You’re up.”
Raul cracked his knuckles, smiling coldly as his eyes came to rest on X. “Does it matter how I do it, Osprey?”
“Not really, as long as it’s from blood loss,” I answered.
Raul turned to grin at Elena. “Lena, honey, run back to the house and grab me a bag and a bat, please.”
She happily darted off while Raul began to tie a struggling X to a tree branch with N’s and M’s clothes. X landed a punch on Raul’s jaw, making his bear surface in his eyes. Raul finished getting him tied up before starting to punch him repeatedly. He didn’t stop until Elena sprinted back into the clearing, panting, holding a couple of clear plastic bags and two baseball bats. She handed one to Raul, who immediately took it from her and began to swing it at X, hitting every available part of his body with the bat. Elena wasted no time in joining him, striking X viciously until his body was nothing but bruises and open wounds. I leaned against a tree, watching as blood dripped from every hole in his body. Beanie finally crossed the clearing to pull Elena away while Raul continued to beat X’s unconscious body until a steady stream of blood poured from a wound on the top of his head while Beanie restrained Elena.
Raul kept striking X until long after the fight left him, and his heart stopped. By the time Raul stopped, there was almost nothing left of X to hint at the fact that he was human. Elena tore herself away from Beanie to strike the corpse a few more times, hollering in anger. I slowly approached her to take the bat from her hands. She looked up at me miserably.
“I hate him,” she sobbed as she threw herself into my arms. “He was my friend!”
I rubbed her back. “I know, Lena. He can’t hurt anybody now.”
She sniffled once before spitting on the slightly swaying body. “I will always choose my Alpha Sow!”
I smiled at her. “We all know.”
Tony held out the bags to Raul. “That one’s next.”
Elena stomped over to Offense to grab his shirt, dragging him over to Raul. She kicked his knee, making him drop to the ground in front of Raul. She quickly unlaced her shoes to tie his hands behind his back before she stepped back for her father to step up behind him. Raul quickly put the bag over his face, and Elena moved around him to stare down at him, watching his face. Raul held the bag tightly over his face, and the bag moved as Offense struggled to breathe.
Elena clapped her hands excitedly as Offense’s eyes began to roll into the back of his head. Raul yanked the bag off his head to let him breathe for a few minutes until he had caught his breath before he put the bag back over his head. Raul repeated these actions for about an hour until he kept the bag on for so long that Offense slumped to the side, only being held up by the bag that was tight around his head. Raul let him go, and he hit the ground hard, his blue eyes staring at nothing. Elena kicked him once in the ribs before snatching the bag off his head and looking around at our fathers.
“What are we doing with the last two?” She asked.
“Taking them back to the town where we can start their journeys to death.”
“What about the rest?”
I rolled my shoulders back. “They go back into the cages to wait for tomorrow. I wanted to do this in one go, but I want to go see my mate. That will give us time to get the necessary supplies.” I turned my head to pin D-fense and Tarjan with a steely glare as I let my aura surround them. “You two are going to town. Start walking.”
I didn’t wait for the sleuth to set up the cages again before following Tarjan and D-fense back to town. My family and I guided the two to the city hall before going down to the meat locker/butcher basement. Tony grabbed chains to wrap around Tarjan’s wrists before hanging him from a hook above the butcher's table. He stuffed a piece of cloth into his mouth before taping it shut, while Raul and Jamie wrapped even more chains tightly around D-fense’s body before dragging him screaming into the large freezer that held all of our butchered meat inside. They locked the freezer door before grinning at me.
“Let’s go home,” Elena said, leaning against Beanie.
“Race you!” I yelled as I took off, sprinting toward our house while laughter trailed behind me.
I didn’t care. My mate was at home, waiting for me, and I was more than ready to show her the many ways I was proud of her today.
