I walked back to stand in front of the wolves, with Elena and Beanie moving to stand on my right while my fathers stood on my left. I smiled coldly at the wolves.
“So, from what I can remember from the options, we need rocks and rope, right?” I said.
“You weren’t paying attention, brother. We also need a source of electricity, rats, a large amount of sulfuric acid, wolfsbane, and saran wrap.”
“Ah, yes, you are so right. How could I have missed all of that? Alright, then. Aunt Mona, can you handle getting that stuff?”
Mona nodded before jogging off. I rolled my shoulders back before turning to my fathers.
“Who are you thinking about taking out for your 7?”
Tony and Jamie slowly scanned the wolves before looking back at me.
“I want the twins,” Jamie announced, making both of them tremble with fear.
“I want the two that are going to be skinned alive and starved,” Tony said.
“Carlos and Tarjan,” I told him.
“I don’t care what their names are, son. All I care about is making sure that they understand the error of their ways.”
I chuckled, nodding. “Got it.” I turned to Raul expectantly. “And you?”
“I want blood loss, suffocation, and freezing,” he answered without hesitation.
“Done.” I turned my attention to the rest of the sleuth that were present. “Please line them up over there. If they run, let them, and then hunt them down and drag them back. I want them to watch everyone else die. I want them to be very aware of what is going to happen to them.” I paused to let my eyes wander slowly over the terrified wolves. “Let’s begin.”
I turned to Jamie. “Do you mind if we wait on the twins for a bit? I want to give Aunt Mona time to get back so she can have fresh organs.”
He nodded. “Alright.”
‘Aunt Mona, will you please come back? You can start getting the things we need tomorrow. We’re doing the starvation death in this first group. That will give you a few days to round everything up,’ I linked her.
‘Okay. I’ll be back in about twenty minutes.’
“Who’s starting?”
Tony smirked as he stepped forward with his eyes glued to Carlos. “I’ll go first with skinning that little fucker there.”
Carlos swallowed hard as he was shoved forward toward my father, who grabbed the front of his shirt. He tossed Carlos onto the ground in front of me before holding his hand out to my other father, who placed a newly removed shoelace in his hands. Tony quickly tied Carlos’s hands behind his back before holding his hand out again, this time in Elena’s direction. She slowly approached him, twirling a dagger between her fingers.
“Can I help, Daddy?” She asked sweetly.
He smiled at her. “Sure. I’ll show you how to properly fillet a person.”
“Oh, my Goddess, please don’t,” Beanie said with a voice full of fear.
Tony chuckled. “She’s not going to hurt you, Beanie. Come on, Elena.”
I leaned back against the tree behind me with my arms crossed over my chest as Tony began to cut Carlos’s clothes off before showing Elena where and how to start cutting the skin off of Carlos’s body. I watched in amusement as Elena became solely focused on carefully removing strip after strip of skin from Carlos under Tony’s watchful eyes while Carlos screamed in agony. When she got to his fingers, she paused.
“How do I do his hands?” She asked.
“Like this, sweetheart,” he said, taking the blade from her and tilting it down as he slowly removed the skin from his hands.
“Ooooh. I want to do his other hand.”
He handed the blade back to her before sitting back on his heels to finish watching Elena remove his skin. Halfway through the rest of having his skin moved, Carlos passed out. When Elena started humming a cheery tune, Beanie paled.
‘She’s enjoying this too much,’ he linked me, making me burst out laughing.
‘She’s your mate, Beanie. Are you afraid of her?’
‘Normally, no, but now? Hell, yes. Do you see that look in her eyes? How are you not shitting yourself?’
‘Because I know her. She would never aim that side of herself at someone she loved.’
‘I hope not.’
Suddenly, Elena jumped up to dash over to Beanie while Tony finished cutting Carlos’s skin off. Elena held up a strip of skin to Beanie’s mouth.
“Taste it.”
He frowned at her. “Elena… I don’t want to eat human flesh.”
She looked down at it before tilting her head back to look into his eyes. “Why not?”’
“I’m not a cannibal.”
Her frown deepened. “We can eat the flesh of our enemies. It doesn’t make us cannibals.”
Before he could respond, I opened our link again. ‘It’s how we were raised, Beanie. She doesn’t understand that not everyone has the need to consume their enemies blood. It’s an Alpha bloodline thing.’
He sighed before taking the skin strip from her to hesitantly eat it. “Thank you, baby.”
She beamed up at him. “How was it?”
“Chewy.”
I stretched as I straightened back up. “Are you done, Dad?”
Elena spun around to rush back over to him. “Not yet! We have to move the body.”
“To where?”
“Over there,” she said gleefully, pointing at a giant ant pile on the edge of the clearing.
Beanie gagged a little. “Elena!”
“What? Scarlett doesn’t want any more hearts. She’s tired of them, so it’s not like we have to take them out for her.”
I couldn’t help but laugh at the queasy look on his face. “It’ll be alright, Beanie. Go ahead, Elena.”
She happily dragged Carlos’s body across the clearing, leaving a trail of blood and tissue behind. She deposited him on the pile, and the ants immediately started to swarm over his body. He began thrashing and screaming on top of the pile, trying to dislodge the ants from his body. Every time he rolled off the pile, Elena pushed him back onto it before easily flicking ants off of her skin. I turned to look at the other wolves, who were watching the scene before them in horror. We watched for a long time before Carlos lay still on top of the anthill, barely breathing. Elena turned back to me with happiness shining in her eyes.
“Oh, I was so right. This is fun!”
I chuckled as I raised my eyebrow at Tony. “What are you doing with the other one?”
He frowned at Tarjan. “He’s going to have to come back to town with us. I don’t want to sit in the woods for days until he dies. A wolf’s metabolism may be faster than a regular human’s, but it will still take a few days for him to die.”
I narrowed my eyes on him. “Where are you going to put him? I don’t want Scarlett to see or hear him.”
“Don’t worry about it, son. We can take him to the butchery area below the town hall. She will never know he is there, not even if she was there in the town hall.”
“Alright, then that’s fine.” I turned my attention to Raul and Jamie. “Who’s next?”
Jamie grinned at me. “I’m next. Mona’s back.” He stomped over to N to grab him around the throat. “You’re up first.”
N swallowed hard. “P-please, have mercy,” he whimpered.
Jamie let his hand shift before stabbing his claws into N’s stomach. “I have no mercy,” he growled, saliva dripping off of his teeth. “Not for you.”
