I felt terribly sorry for Lola for losing her father in such a horrible way. She had gotten her revenge on Sparrow but even that wasn't enough to make up for the pain he had caused her.

Angel and I had attended her father's funeral, she was such a strong woman and I hoped she found her happily ever after someday. She was a good person and deserved it.

Alfred on the other hand had decided to leave the city. He couldn't bear the heartbreak of losing me. I had learnt that he returned his business headquarter where he came from.

I was glad too. I hoped he found a real purpose to his life and became a better person. I was glad that his wife was also happily married to a man that deserved her and had two kids with him.

He was rich just like Alfred.

I had made it my business to see her and ask for forgiveness. She was quite understanding holding no grudge against me.

"Alfred would have cheated on me with another stripper even if you weren't in the picture." She said asking me to rid myself of all guilt.

After my experience at the hand of Sparrow and Natalia, my heart was hardened to them. I didn't feel a thing when Angel told me Lola had gotten rid of sparrow. He deserved every bit of pain he got.

As for Natalia, letting her die was an easy punishment. She almost blew me up all because of her jealousy. Saving her was part of my revenge.

We had all settled in after our ordeal and Natalia was getting treated at the hospital. So today, Angel and I decided to pay her a visit.

We got into the Vip room where we had placed Natalia for her treatment. She had the best care at the hospital, she should be grateful for that. In truth, I just wanted to keep her alive by all means so that she could live a life of misery.

" Natalia, someone is here to see you." The nurse attending to her said. She was bandaged all over, including her face. She looked exactly as she deserved.

"I don't want to see anyone. Let them go away." She managed to voice out. She was still recovering from the pain she got due to the burns but at least we could hear her.

"Are you sure?" Angel said moving close to her. She couldn't see as the fire had also damaged her eyes. Infact, it was a miracle that she was alive.

"Who's there?" She asked. I wonder if her memory was affected also for her not to recognize Angel's voice immediately. Angel nods to the nurse asking her to give us space. Once we were left alone with Natalie, Angel pulls a chair which he places in front of Natalia.

"Can't you tell?" He asked as he sat opposite her.

"A-Angel? Angel is that you?" Natalia cried out his name. I could hear the relieve in her voice.

"You're right." He answered and glanced at me before taking his gaze back to Natalia. She burst into tears which looked funny because no tears could come out. Her eyes were damaged after all.

"No, you should go. I don't want you seeing me like this. I look horrible and ugly." She said and I scoffed. She still cared about how Angel thought of her. I understood her fears though. He didn't look in her direction twice when she looked beautiful and hot so right now, she wasn't even a thought for consideration.

"I'm here and have already seen you. There's nothing more to hide." Angel said speaking to her calmly. I loved the way he made her feel comfortable enough for her to assume that he cared. If only she knew....

"Will I be able to heal? No one tells me anything. Will I get a surgery that makes my body normal?" There's silence as Angel simply smiles at her. We were merciful enough to save her life yet she was expecting more. "Tell me please." She begged sounding desperate.

"There's only so much I can do for you Natalia. The most important was saving your life." Angel still spoke calmly to her.

"You don't need to pay for the surgery. I have some money saved up." She said, obviously suggesting we helped her get surgery.

Angel scoffed, his expression changing to that of disgust. "The money you got from sparrow after selling my goods?" His tone was thick with his irritation at her and she she seemed shocked and speechless.

"You can't leave me like this." She cried.

"I'm not doing you any favours Natalia."

"But you saved my life." She was yet to believe it. She really thought we had saved her life with good intentions.

"You should be thanking Thea. I would have let you to die in that fire but Thea couldn't bear to see you burn." Angel said to her, his voice was now thick with hate.

She almost killed the love of his life, Angel would never forgive that.

"No, that's not true. You saved me not her!" She couldn't accept the fact that the person she hated the most was the person who saved her life. Angel stands up and holds her shoulder.

"You should be quiet. I don't want you creating a scene okay?" His voice was commanding.

"Angel please. I'm sorry." She kept crying.

"For what exactly?"

"For everything."

"You're not making any sense Natalia." He said letting go of her shoulder. "What exactly did you do that requires forgiving?"

She paused before speaking. "For betraying you." She admitted.

"And how did you do that?"

"By siding with your rival Sparrow just to get you." Angel remains silent, he needed her to say the most important thing. "Why aren't you saying anything?" She asked.

"Because you won't admit the one thing I truly want to hear." Natalia's lips quivered. I could tell that she found it hard to admit.

"I'm sorry for trying to kill Thea. The woman you love." She finally admitted and Angel looks at me.

"Right...." He said and took his seat again. "Now you're making sense. You're sorry for trying to kill the woman I love. The most important person in my life. You almost destroyed my life Natalia and all because of your obsession with me."

"Obsession?" She sounded disappointed . "I love you Angel."

"You have no idea what love is Natalia. You were vile with how much you were willing to do to have me." He said and she remained silent for some seconds

"Isn't there a way you can forgive me, please."

"I'm not the one who you should seek forgiveness from. If Thea can forgive you then I might consider." Angel said and I scoffed.

"You can't...." She held back her words. "Thea would never."

"You never know... She's right here, you can start licking her feet for starters. I'll leave you two to talk." Angel said and Natalia trembled from where she sat. She was definitely shocked by the revelation.

"Angel no! Don't leave me alone with her. Angel....!"

She cried out but he ignored her and walked up to me, pulling me into his arms.

"You don't have to go gentle on her." He said staring me deep in the eyes. I didn't want to stare too long as well because the way he looked at me was softening my heart.

I pulled him closer and kissed him on the lip.

"Trust me, I won't."

After Angel left, I remained silent for some seconds before taking a seat to look at Natalia.

"Why don't you go ahead. Just laugh at me already." She said full of hate.

I let out a chuckle which infuriates her.

"How dare you mock me?" She yelled. She had not repented one bit.

"You gave me the permission to laugh. Remember?" I said calling her memory to order. " Don't tell me the fire got to your brain as well."

"I hate you Thea. I hate you so much!"

"And yet, there's nothing you can do about it now. Look how far your hatred has gotten you Natalia." I said bursting into a laugh of mockery this time.

"Shut up! Shut your damn mouth now! Someone take this bitch away from here. Somebody!" She kept yelling looking so crazy.

"So unfortunate Natalia. No one's coming. They'll only listen to us." I said. Angel had paid heavily for this, for their mouths to remain shut at whatever we did in here. He wasn't a new person to them. This hospital worked with the mafia, hiding their dirty secrets too.

"I swear I'll kill you the moment I get my hands on you." I went into another round of laughter. She had so much audacity to still be making threats in her condition.

"What hands?" I asked and she fumes. Her left hand was gone as they had amputated during emergency surgery. They did it to save her life due to how bad it was.

"Why did you save me?" She asked more humbly now after I brought her back to reality. She obviously hated her existence now.

"What do you think?"

"You wanted this didn't you?" She said sounding bitter.

"I think you're smart about that one. To Angel, I might have saved your life but the truth is, I did that to give you a life worse than death." I confessed to her

"You're evil." She cried but I didn't give two fucks what she thought. She made me harden my heart towards her due to how much hatred she bore for me.

"I learnt from a good mentor. Guess who? You." I said and began laughing again making sure I got her irritated.

"Shut it! I don't want to hear your voice."

"Oh damn! I can't help it now. You'll get to hear it for a very long time Natalia. " It was a promise I was making to her. "You're going to be a prisoner in your own body Natalia. Never going to have fun, sex, never to be desired by any man. This is what you did to yourself. All because you hated me." I said hitting her where it really hurt.

"I wished I killed you sooner." She said through gritted teeth. She was really angry.

"Angel wished he killed you sooner too but here we all are. What a blissful ending for you. You hated me, bullied me, plot against me. You tried to kill me but who is having the last laugh now? Me Natalia... Me." I yelled at her face then lowered my voice again. "Angel and I will live happily, have a family maybe. We will love each other for the rest of our lives, make mad love to each other while you rot in your own skin. What better revenge could I have planned?"

"Stop it... Stop torturing me." She cried.

"This is only the beginning Natalia. I have endured so much from you. I didn't want to hate you but after you came for my life I had no choice but to hate you as well."

"Get out.... Get out you fucking bitch! I hate you , I hate you!" She kept screaming.

"Shhh.... We can't have you shouting like an insane person." I said placing a hand on her quivering lips. "It's time for you to have a walk." I said and grabbed her wheelchair.

"Get away." She resisted but I was already pushing her out of the room. I stopped at the door after I closed it then I came to squat in front of her.

"If you keep acting this way Natalia, we might have to send you to the psychiatry." I warned her and she remained mute once she heard that. A satisfied smile settled on my face and we resumed the walk.

She must feel like the worst person on earth right now and that meant a lot to me.
