Chapter 41

‘ Boom ‘, Hope was sent flying through a tree and it seems he is breaking through some trees on his way out.

‘ I told you that you don’t stand a chance against me, well you never say never little kid ‘, the demon said in a bold tone while curling his tongue to his mouth.

It was later discovered that the demon shapeshifted Into Alon to kill and eat the other demon hunters, but the question that battled him was that how the demon could figure out about their plan of invading the demons in west wood.

Hope looks weak and exhausted as he slowly picks himself up from the ground and stares directly at the demon.

He flashes an awkward smile on his face, ‘ I wish you good luck bastard ‘, in a bold tone.

He leaps into the air and drives his katana for the demon’s neck.

‘ swish ‘, the demon slowly drops back to the ground, holding his neck.

He laughs mysteriously for a while before saying to him, ‘’ you think it is over but the battle between human and demon will never end ‘’, the demon muttered but Hope got fed up and sliced up his neck with blood gushing on the ground.

Hope looks troubled as the demon words hunts his thought about the demon war just starting.

He looks away and decided to search for Alon.

Few minutes later…

The beautiful view of night draws the attention of Sir Elvis as he was looking suspicious as usual.

He begins to flash back in his memory, on how he freed the night hawks who their members almost killed him in search for their men.

Sir Elvis as long as he had remembered, he had always hide from the light but why will a great warrior do that, but for no reason decided to kill his human emotions and hunt demons.

As every other demon hunter in the corp, sir Elvis was the only person who had a twisted personality, he was almost as the same as Hope but more like Ino luck.

He grew up with his family, they leaved in England before the insane incident happened, the first demon walked into the upper land, killing and injecting people with their curse blood, turning them into blood sucking demons.

The first time he heard of a demon was when his elder brother died, some people said his brother was turned into a demon while some said he was killed by one.

His father been the richest majestarian always feared that the demons might also kill his remaining family so he left for the other side of England that was known as the upper land.

Few years after, Elvis lost everything and became one of the demon hunter corp. Himself and others hunted and killed demons but Sir Elvis himself was not feeling happy but he tried to hide it in.

Back to the present scene..

‘ vroom ’, a figure dashed through his side, sending an odd smell across the scene, ‘ what is that smell ’, he said as he tried covering his nose from it.

The others nosed out the smell and discovered that it was a demon, ‘ hurry, kill it ’, in a high peak.

They all dashed out with their sword, striking for the demon but the demon succeeded without been scratch nor injured, ‘ what are you doing, kill it ’.

The demon squeezes himself through a tight space and was about making a run for it when Sir Elvis caught up with the demon and strikes it with his katana.

The demon turns his back and held his neck. Blood slowly gushed out from his sliced up neck, he falls to the ground and slowly breathes in and out before the demon slowly dies in pain with Sir Elvis looking down on his corpse.

His body slowly turns to dusts and were blown up by the wind into the atmosphere.

‘ everyone applauses ’, in a high tone, they all clapped for Sir Elvis as he killed the demon.

He pretends to be happy me while his just heart broken, as he takes a turn for his side he sights Rishi and One staring at him. He turns his face away from them trying to hide his worries.

As Sir Elvis was praised for his courageous act, he moves towards a higher land where he could have a clearer view of the moon, he hums as he expresses relief.

‘ how do you feel, killing a demon ’, this question flew into his ear.

He grunts and looks to his side, seeing the person's legs.

‘ what are you doing here ’, he asked in a high tone.

‘ am just here to congratulate you for your brave act ’, he replied.

Sir Elvis turns his back and faces Rishi who seems to be flashing a grin on his face, ‘ don't worry, your secret is save with me, if you doubt me, try me ’, he said.

Sir Elvis looks frustrated and closed his eyes and he bites his lips, ‘ what do you want from me ’.

‘ I know you feel guilty for killing that demon, everyone emotions tingle after one awkward event in their life, I myself have the same emotions you have but different, you don't feel happy killing demons because you think they are still humans but the raw fact about it is how many of them can remain human ’, Rishi said.

‘ what do you mean by we share the same emotion ’, Sir Elvis asked as he stares at him.

He walks up to Sir Elvis, as Sir Elvis noticed he slowly draws his sword from his shaft, drawing his attention.

He sights it, ‘ hey, hold up am not gonna attack you, I just wanna ask you a simple question ’, he slowly brings his hands down.

‘ why do you try hiding your feelings even though it is obvious, just comes out true, don't try hide it cause some hidden secrets are as deadly as on sin ’, in a soft tone.

He ends his statement with Sir Elvis taking his words into concentration as he slowly turns his back view against him and slowly exit.

‘ it is not why I hide it, it is why I do it ’, he replied.

Rishi stops and slowly turns his back for him, ‘ and that is .. ’.

‘ my brother, my family and my friends were all taken away from me during the first demon outbreak, we all scattered as friends and family, searching for hope and how we could be safe, but it seems that fate had something in-store for us all so I don't bother fighting against fate but instead I let it manifest ’, in a serious tone accompanied with clenched fists.

‘ don't worry, everything will be alright ’, Rishi said to him in a soft tone.

While..

Hope was still in search for Alon, going deep into the forest, scavenging through the lands, till his sights fire sparkling into the air.

He slowly walks towards the direction using his sword to clear his path through the forest.

He squats down to hide from the unknown figures that might be there, as he slowly tilt down his head, he realized that it was some group of normal people who were just camping in the woods.

‘ what are they doing here, who are they ’, he asked himself in thoughts.

He walks out from the bush he was hiding and scares the rest of them, ‘ who are you ’, in a stammering tone.

‘ hey, you all should calm down, I am a lost camper in search for my friend, I am just looking for where to heat up from the cold weather of the forest, I will be grateful if you all will agree to accommodate me here just for sometime till I can see my fellow camper ’, he asked politely.

They all stare at him, ‘ ok, there is no worries, just only for tonight ’, he walks up to the dead log he was first sitting on before they all scattered in fear.

‘ thanks alot for everything ’, in a generous manner and he takes his seat with them on the log.

‘ so.. what are you doing here ’, one of them asked with a scary look on his face.

Hope could tell that something fishy was going on about those guys, he had a weird feeling in his guts telling him to make a run for it but he tries figuring out their motives by prolonging their conversation before sunset.

‘ like I said, am I search for my fellow camper who seems to have lost his way in here ’, he said in a serious tone accompanied with it's look on his face.

Rishi was standing up right, gazing at the flames coming from the burning branches. One walks up to Rishi with him shuddering in fear.

‘ hey, what are you doing here all by yourself ’, One said with a flashing smirk on his face.

Rishi becomes shock in fear as One walks up to him unexpectedly, ‘ what do you wanna say, go on with it bro, I know you wanna laugh at me ’.

‘ not really, just a little curious about your same feeling conversation with Sir Elvis ’, in a soft tone.

He chuckles and begins the conversation with a sniff, ‘ we were just talking about what we share in common, nothing really, like what are you thinking about me and him.. like .. ’, while staring at him.

He turns his face away from him and curls up his lips to his upper mouth, ‘ no worries, I just know that you would not screw on us like a piece of shit you are, what do you say, should I kill you or just let you leave, pick your card dude or am gonna pick it for you ’, in a serious tone.

He moves back with One slowly walking up to him, ‘ hey, don't kill me, am not ready to die now ’.

He dashed a smile on his bored face, turning down the conversation on the both of them, ‘ not now, am not gonna kill you yet, just keep fucking your life dude because you are not gonna die on my hands, not yet, not now ’, One replied him and slowly walked away from him, raising up his hand into the air.

While at Hope's location, he was having a conversation with the weird people he met on the suspicious camp, they were all staring at each other with Hope looking away from them check out the environment Incase of incasity.

‘ so.. how long have you all been camping out here, it looks so lonely out here and with the six of you, I can say your conversation is really taking up a heat ’, Hope said with a bold smirk on his face.

They all looked at him and smiled, ‘ yeah, it was already getting bored here, we needed a new guy to fill in the gap so it seems you are that new guy ’, in a low tone accompanied with a sadistic look on his.

Hope slowly rose up on his feet and was about walking out on them, ‘ thanks alot for everything, I should better start going before I fall asleep here, thanks alot for you all keeping it lifely in here, I should better start going ’, in a soft tone.

As Hope walks out on them, they all should gratitude towards him by waving hands to him and chatting his name while Hope walks out on them in search for Alon.
