Chapter 91 Chapter 91: I Have My Own Scruples
As soon as she finished her words, Rebecca couldn’t help but burst into tears. Then she said in a sobbing voice, “Estelle, don’t lie to me. I know everything.”
Hearing this, Estelle was stunned. She looked around and found that she was in an unfamiliar ward.
Then she realised that she was not in the hospital where she had the lung surgery before but in another hospital.
In this hospital, there was no one helping her hide her illness from her family and friends.
Estelle took a long breath and said helplessly, “I suddenly feel relieved. I’ve long been tired of hiding my illness.”
Rebecca held her hand tightly, bit her lip, and tried to hold back her tears. “Don’t worry. Estelle, I’ll be with you. You are an only child, and so am I. From now on, we’re sisters. I’m older than you, so you’re my younger sister. And as your elder sister, I’ll take care of you from now on.”
Estelle couldn’t help chuckling and joked, “You are my elder sister? Okay.”
“Estelle, I really take you as my sister. When I was bullied by others before, it was you who stood up for me. Without your help, I might have committed suicide because of being bullied.”
“Don’t talk nonsense,” Estelle frowned slightly and said. “Life is precious. There are many people in the world having to overcome countless difficulties to live. You must cherish your life.”
Hearing her words, Rebecca was reminded of the recordings again, and tears streamed down her face. “I see. I’ll listen to you. I won’t say such words anymore. Well, your mother called you before, and I answered the phone for you. I told her that you were with me. Don’t worry. She doesn’t know you are in the hospital.”
Estelle nodded slightly and said, “Don’t tell my mother about my condition. She’s old and can’t take such a big blow.”

“I see. I know what you mean,” Rebecca said. “I will keep it a secret for you.”
“Thank you.”
“Estelle,” Rebecca said after hesitating for a moment. “Is there anything that you want to do? Tell me, and I will help you.”
Estelle smiled and said, “I want to see my daughter.”
“Okay. I will bring your daughter back to you by every means,” Rebecca promised.
“I also want to see Yohan. Yohan hasn’t seen me since he underwent the stem cell transplant.”
“No problem. When you are better, we’ll take Yvonne and your mother to Ameris and reunite with him.”
“And...” Estelle paused and showed a hesitant look.
“What else do you want?” Rebecca asked. “I’m listening. Just tell me.”
“I want to see Mr. Mysterious.”
Rebecca was a little stunned and then asked, “You mean the mysterious man that you mentioned before?”

At this time, Estelle’s phone rang.
Rebecca was startled, then quickly took out Estelle’s phone and handed it to her. “Check the message. Maybe Mr. Mysterious texted you.”
Estelle slowly took the phone and looked at it. Sure enough, Mr. Mysterious sent her a message.
‘Why didn’t you tell me earlier?’

Just then, Mr. Mysterious called her.
Rebecca immediately answered the phone and put it beside Estelle’s ear.
Estelle looked at her gratefully and then said softly on the phone, “Sir, this is Estelle.”
“Estelle, you sound weak.”
“I’m sorry, Sir. I may not be able to agree to your proposal.”
“It’s okay,” Mr. Mysterious said. “I’ll stay with you in your last days. Don’t be afraid. I’ll always be with you.”
Mr. Mysterious’ voice was gentle, slightly hoarse, and very magnetic. Every time Estelle heard his voice, she would feel a sense of security.
“Thank you,” Estelle said. “Sir, I owe you too much in this life. If we can meet in our next life, I’ll repay you and be with you.”
“It’s a deal. Don’t go back on your words.”
“I won’t,” Estelle replied in a low voice. After a pause, she plucked up her courage and asked, “Sir, may I... may I see you?”
Mr. Mysterious fell silent.
After a long silence, Estelle felt a little apologetic and hurriedly said, “I’m sorry, Sir. Just forget what I said. I was too abrupt.”
“Estelle,” Mr. Mysterious suddenly called her name.
“Sir, I’m listening.”
“It’s not appropriate for us to meet each other now.”
“I see. I won’t make such a request again,” Estelle responded.
“I have my own scruples. I hope you can understand. Sorry.”
“I can understand you, Sir. It’s not your problem. I’m asking too much.”
Mr. Mysterious sighed heavily and said, “Have a good rest. When you are better, I’ll pick you up and take you home.”
When Estelle heard this, her nose twitched all of a sudden. “Okay.”
‘Go home? Do I still have a home? The Hudson’s House and Cristofer’ villa are neither my home now. The only place I can go in and out freely is Room 1231 of the Grand Hotel of Hadale City. And only the half bed in the bedroom belongs to me.’
