“So what? Estelle is my friend. I hope she can divorce you as soon as possible! Mr. Hans, why don’t you ask your fiancee for her opinion? I believe she prefers you were going through the divorce procedures with Estelle rather than being here and buying her a wedding ring.”
Cristofer gritted his teeth, unable to utter a word.
Gretchen had been urging him to divorce Estelle in the past years. And this year, even York and Melody asked him when he would marry Gretchen from time to time. And sometimes, he didn’t know how to answer them.
Somehow, his feelings for Gretchen seemed to have changed since he knew that Yvonne was his child with Estelle.
In the past, he always thought that Gretchen was a kind-hearted woman. She didn’t care about her personal gain and loss. Nor did she care about whether he was rich or not.

Rebecca was unsatisfied with his attitude and said, “Cristofer, you were so smart before. How could you fall in love with such a hypocritical woman? If you don’t believe me, you can go to the hospital to check it out.”
Cristofer fell into silence with a darkened face, his lips compressed into a thin line. Then, after a long while, he said, “I believe in Gretchen.”
“Huh?” Rebecca sneered, “You believe her? What a fool you are.”
“Miss Miller, enough is enough. For the sake that we are schoolmates and your father is my business partner, I’m going to let that slide today. But my concession doesn’t mean that you can be more and more unreasonable!” Cristofer said coldly.
“Am I unreasonable? I...”
When she was about to say something else, Estelle interrupted her and pulled her arm. “Rebecca, stop it. Other people are watching us.”

Holding the seat belt, Estelle looked out of the window at the trees on both sides of the road. The wind dishevelled her hair, and she gently tucked the messy hair behind her ears.
