Hearing that, Melody was silent for a while. Then she sighed and said, “Cristofer won’t be together with Estelle anymore. After all, in his heart, Estelle is the one who killed his parents. Even if he still has feelings for Estelle, he won’t be reconciled with her.”
“But... Cristofer seemed to have doubts about the car accident six years ago and wanted to open the reinvestigation. I don’t know if Estelle has said something to him. The party was held in the Hudson’s House.
The huge garden of the Hudson’s House was once managed by Mrs. Moorsum, too, before it was reconstructed into a huge pool after York and Melody moved here.
Around the swimming pool, there were many tables with food and champagne towers placed on them.
Gretchen, who had changed into a Chanel fur coat, waited at the gate long before she saw Cristofer’s Maybach come.
“Cristofer!” When Cristofer got out of the car, she called his name happily.
Before she could say anything else, she saw another man get out of the car, making her stunned.
When Gretchen clearly saw the man’s face, she froze for a few seconds.
The man waved at her and greeted, “Gretchen, long time no see.”
With almost imperceptible displeasure, Gretchen pretended to be happy and surprised and said, “Hi, Frank! What are you doing here?”
“There’s something wrong with Mr. Hans’ car. I’m here to check it for him,” The man named Frank casually mentioned.

She wore the latest Versace high-heeled shoes, with dark blue satin vamp decorated with shining, eye-catching little diamonds. Melody specially bought them for her before the party.
“Gretchen, your shoes are so beautiful. The diamonds on them look like shining stars in the sky,” Frank complimented.
Like stars? Gretchen’s smile froze at the thought that Estelle’s nickname was Star.
When Cristofer heard what Frank had said, his serious expression softened, and he looked down at Gretchen’s shoes.
Then he frowned slightly and thought, Indeed, the dark blue satin looks like the night sky, and the diamonds look like shining stars. Star...
Seeing him stare at the shoes and lost in thought, Gretchen came forward, held his arm, and asked, “Cristofer, what are you thinking about? You look absent-minded.”
Cristofer looked away and said, “Nothing. Let’s get inside first.”
“Okay,” Gretchen replied to him happily.
Cristofer then turned around and said to Frank, “Frank, there seems to be something wrong with the brakes. Could you help me adjust it?”
Frank patted his chest and said confidently, “Mr. Hans, you may rest assured. I’ve worked in this industry for many years and know about all kinds of vehicle failure. I can tell at a glance if something is wrong with a car. Don’t worry. I’ll help you fix it.”
Hearing that, Cristofer suddenly stopped his steps and asked, “You know well about all kinds of vehicle failure?”
“Yes, especially the luxury cars.”
“What about the Land Rover?”
“Land Rover cars are different from the cars of other brands. The chassis of Land Rover cars are made of specially-made steel plates, and their structures are complicated.
