Estelle couldn’t help but burst into laughter. “Really? It turns out the so-called team-building activity that he mentioned is a motorcycle race. I thought he was in a rock concert when I saw him dress like that.”
After saying that, she struggled slightly, took out her phone from her handbag, and showed Mr. Mysterious the caller ID.
It was Mrs. Moorsum who called her.

As Estelle answered the phone, she heard Yohan's sweet voice. “Mom! I miss you so much!”
“I miss you too,” Estelle smiled and said softly. “I’m sorry, Yohan. I was too busy today. I’ll go back home now.”
“No, Mom, please listen. Mrs. Moorsum informed me that you and Dad are having a great time. I’m calling just to let you know that there’s no need for you to return home too soon.”

“Yes,” Yohan responded cheerfully, “Hee hee. Mrs. Moorsum also mentioned that if you and Dad spend quality time alone and have a good time, I might have a little brother in the near future. Hooray!”
Estelle couldn’t help but be amused by his words, shaking her head with a gentle smile of resignation.
Suddenly, Mr. Mysterious took the phone from her hand and spoke in a tender voice, “Yohan, do you really want a younger brother?”
“Yes!” Yohan exclaimed. “Dad, I know you’re a superhero. Can you make a younger brother for me? Many of my classmates have younger brothers, but I don’t. I also wish for a younger brother.”
“Well, I can’t make a younger brother for you now.”
“Why?”

Estelle was speechless, thinking, ‘It seems that I underestimated a father’s influence on a child. Yohan is now amenable to whatever Mr. Mysterious says!’
“You are so awesome. Even Yohan's biological father may not be as influential as you,” Estelle pouted her lips.
“It will be better if Yohan takes me as his biological father,” Mr. Mysterious said and chuckled.
That night, Mr. Mysterious held Estelle from behind while sleeping, just like they did when they stayed in the Grand Hotel of Hadale City. And both of them had a good sleep.
On the following day, when Estelle woke up, Mr. Mysterious had already gone to work.
After having breakfast, she played with Yvonne for a while. Then she sent Yohan to school and took a taxi to the hospital to visit Aurora.
Perhaps it was because Aurora had seen her two grandchildren that she was in a good mood and in a much better condition these days.

Aurora was happy to see her. “Estelle, you are finally here. Just now, the doctor said that I could be discharged from the hospital.”

“Of course, you’re my daughter. I can easily observe any changes in you,” Aurora replied with a smile. “By the way, Estelle, I need to tell you something. Your uncle and aunt have taken over our house. However, it’s not a problem. I have some money saved up. We can rent an apartment.”
Aurora retrieved a small cloth bag wrapped in a handkerchief from under her pillow and opened it as she spoke.
Estelle’s eyes widened as she saw a stack of cash inside. There were approximately thirty thousand dollars in the bag.
“As a mother, I can’t provide you with a good life or even let us become homeless. Thankfully, this money should be enough to cover at least six months’ worth of rent for a small apartment,” Aurora explained.
“Mom, where did you get this money?” Estelle asked, her confusion evident on her face.
Aurora looked away to avoid her gaze and said, “That’s not important. Anyway, we have money now.”
Sensing that something was off, Estelle grabbed Aurora’s wrist and asked, “Mom, where is your jade bracelet?”

“Did you sell your jade bracelet?” Estelle was shocked.
With a forced smile, Aurora tried to comfort her, “It’s okay, Estelle. It’s just a piece of jewelry. Compared with you and my two grandchildren, it is nothing. I can’t just stand by and see you have nowhere to live. I want to be helpful.”
