A child seat had been specially installed in the car before. Ron picked up Yohan, put him on the child seat, and then considerately fastened the seat belt for him.
On the way to the hospital, Yohan was excited and kept talking to Ron.
“Uncle Ron, is my dad powerful?”
“Yes, he is very powerful,” Ron said while driving carefully.
“He will protect Mom when Mom is in danger, just like a knight protecting a princess, right?”
“Yes, your dad has done a lot for your mom. He has made a lot of concessions and sacrifices for her,” Ron said gently.
“Dad is so awesome. He will definitely be able to defeat all the bad guys and live a happy life with Mom,” Yohan said happily.
“Yes. And he will also protect you and your sister. You two are the children of your mom and him,” Ron said.
“Is that so? But Mom said that Yvonne and I are the children of our previous dad, not this new dad. Uncle Ron, I’m afraid you are mistaken,” Yohan said with a frown.
Listening to their conversation, Estelle raised her head and looked at Ron, feeling something wrong.

“Yes,” Yohan said and nodded.

“Yes!” Yohan nodded and became happy again. “Uncle Ron, do you know my previous dad?”

“Is he a good man?” Yohan asked.
Ron then took a look at Estelle from the rearview mirror secretly.
At the moment, Estelle was sitting in the rear seat with Yvonne in her arms quietly, looking very calm. When Yohan mentioned Cristofer, there was no change in her expression, as if Cristofer was a stranger to her.
Seeing her like this, Ron couldn’t help sighing and feeling sorry for Cristofer.

Mr. Mysterious entrusted Ron with caring for Estelle and the children, so he escorted them to the door of Aurora’s ward. “Miss Hudson, I’ll wait for you outside. Tell me if you need anything.”
“Thank you, Ron. But You don’t have to wait here all the time. You can go have a rest first,” Estelle said.
“It’s okay. This is my job. Mr. Mysterious said that York and Melody might come and pester you, so he told me to guard here and protect you,” Ron insisted.
Hearing this, Estelle could only nod and say, “Thank you.”

In the ward, Aurora had just been given an injection and talked with a nurse in a good mood. After several days of recovery, she was much better than before.
When Estelle brought the children in and saw Aurora in good condition, she suddenly wanted to cry, and the rims of her eyes turned red. “Mom, here we come.”
Aurora was surprised when seeing Estelle and the children. Fixing her eyes on them, she opened her mouth but couldn’t utter a word for a long time.
“Yohan, this is your Grandma,” Estelle introduced.
“Hi, Grandma. I’m Yohan. Nice to meet you,” Yohan greeted Aurora politely.
“He... He is...” Aurora was still in shock.
“Mom, this is my son, Yohan. He was born in Ameris five years ago,” Estelle said as she slowly walked over and put Yvonne into Aurora’s arms. “This is my daughter. Her name is Yvonne.”
Aurora then carefully held Yvonne in her arms and looked up at Yohan, standing quietly beside Estelle.
The next moment, she couldn’t help shedding tears and said, “Estelle, you must have suffered a lot when you lived abroad alone during pregnancy. Have you been taking care of Yohan by yourself these years? Why did you never bring him to see me?”
Seeing her crying, Estelle felt a lump in her throat. She took Yohan's hand and let him stand closer to Aurora, saying, “I’m okay, Mom. It’s all in the past. Yohan had been living in Ameris in the past years and just returned for about a month.”
“Grandma, I was sick before and had been receiving treatment in Ameris. After Yvonne was born, she saved me, and I recovered,” Yohan said, sitting on the edge of the bed and gently snuggling up against Aurora’s arm.
“Grandma, are you sick too? Don’t cry. You will recover soon.”
Hearing Yohan's words, Aurora gently touched his little face with tears pouring down her cheeks and said in a sobbing tone, “Good boy, you are so sweet.”
Then she raised her head and said to Estelle, “He looks so much like Cristofer.”
Estelle nodded with a faint smile and didn’t deny it.
Although she had broken up with Cristofer and many unpleasant things had happened between them, she was never evasive when talking about Cristofer and never spoke ill of him in front of Yohan and Yvonne. After all, Cristofer was their biological father.
Lying in Aurora’s arms, Yvonne was very happy. She reached out her little hands toward Aurora, seeming to grasp something.
